Everything comes full circle, what God started in Eden will be fullfilled. It appears that People will be born in eternity. Note, there are millions of flesh and blood survivors on earth at vs 8-10 that do not die. All the Jews survive and I assume a remnant of gentiles. Thus you have Rev. 21:24-26 and Rev. 22:2 - the Tree of Life. satan's stunt in Genesis was only a temporary road block for God.

Verse 4 - "..and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands.." We tend to think of the 'end times' as something obscure in the future; but this 'war' has been in the world since Cain, and Nimrod. The "Mark" is spiritual!

To Lu2677 (1): I do not know if your comment is directed at my previous comment or not, so I apologize if it is not.
If it was, I humbly ask that you look again at the Revelation 20:10 - it only states that devil, and in association the beast and the false prophet, are torment day and night for ever and ever in the lake of fire, prepared specifically for devil and his angels ( Mat 25:41)...
  • Dejvi Kadivnik on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
To A disciple: I apologize if you perceived me and my comment as superior or pseudo-intellectual. That was not my intention. However, I stand by my statement, which is based on research of the Scripture. If you have any specific criticism regarding my statement, backed up by an actual Bible citation, which undermines my statement, please provide it.

Tormented for ever, Rev.20:10, Rev. 14:10,in the presence of the Lamb. Lamb=Lamb of God=Jesus=God.His cup of indignation will be poured out, where your worm does not die. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.Interesting how He shows mercy by warning us,He warned people when he was on earth in the flesh,he warns us by way of His word; those of us that know the truth, yet most are not afraid.
  • A disciple on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
Dejvi Kadivnik; You have to ask yourself, Why do you set yourself to oppose and contradict the Word of God? And what do you hope will be the end of your pseudo-intellectualism and debating over perceived meanings in words? Who ever was able to stand in defiance to God, and not been made a universal show of folly and wickedness? As much as you might be puffed up in your own thoughts of superiority!

    To Will's comment from 9/27/2015 (part 2):
It follows that if men in the lake of fire are tormented in the presence of the Lamb forever, they are FOREVER in HIS PRESENCE, not separated from him. So death can not be separation eternal consious torment in the presence of the Lamb, it can only be consious torment until total destruction in the presence of the Lamb, followed by separation (being dead)
  • Dejvi Kadivnik on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
To Will's comment from 9 27 2015 part 1 : Death always meaning separation does not make sence in the light of Revelation 14:10: The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ... to be continued

--- Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold --- but with the Precious Blood of Christ as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot. 1Peter 1:18-19 /--- He was led as a Sheep to the slaughter and like a Lamb dumb before His shearer--- Acts 8:32. / Thank you for being on here,it helps us believers to be stronger and more in His Word. April: What Believers are you talking about? All Believers that are Washed in The Blood of The Lamb have a Wonderful Fellowship with The Lord. Lilian really read Matts because We are all changed at the 7th trump and those that don't wait for Christ are going to be seriously in a bad way. God sent this letter which is an easy read set of instructions and the lazy Christians who don't read it and think Jesus loves me I don't have to read it I'm going to fly away. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. False Christ coming is going to tell you the rapture lie

  • Matt on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
Those who do not overcome during the first resurrection will have to be taught by God's election during the Millennium (1,000 years). If they fail to follow God afterwards, they will follow Satan and the other ungodly souls into hell. Our Lord is VERY patient, and He does NOT wish to send anyone to hell but Satan. That is why He gives every soul a fair chance to accept Him. 2nd Peter chapter 3
  • Matt on Revelation 20 - 9 years ago
The rest of the 'dead' are the spiritually dead: those deceived by Satan. The antichrist is the devil: Satan. Those who believe they are going to be raptured are the ones who are spiritually dead. The Lord made it clear His disciples would be going through the tribulation in Matthew ch. 24. Satan's children are setting things up for his arrival. You have to know who the Kenites are. John 8 v.44

Revelation:1-15 Jesus Christ comes back to set up His millennial one thousand years reign on the earth vv.1-6.There are a number of prophetic references which describe a particular time when Christ will establish a kingdom on the earth 2 Samuel 7-14 Psalm 24:1-10 Isaiah2:1-4 11:5-12 35:1-10 Daniel 2:-44 At this time, the unrighteous dead will be judged v.12 Revelation 20:2-10 See Jude 1:9

Remember that Revelations is written in a prophetic, poetic genre. You will not glean truth from it if you read it like a scientist, lawyer or politician; put your artistic hat on for this one. Often where people get off in this passage by failing to view the "thousand years" as simply a symbol of planned completeness. You'll miss the intent if you impose "literalness" to the figures.
  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
This is spiritual. The virgins part means they haven't been defiled by the harlott (Rome) and been deceived into getting the mark. The ONLY way not to get it is to have the Seal of God. It's IN your forehead being grounded in TRUTH. God gives final warning Come out of her my people..Which will we choose? Satan came to deceive the WHOLE world. Popular opinion must be wrong ! Think, read, understand
  • Makafui on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
The bible did not mention any group of people that will eter heaven. What John apostles was saying is any one that is not found in the book of life will be cast into lake of fire
  • EMMANUEL BWALYA on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
Yes, the 144,000 which were sealed from the twelve tribes of Israel will be with Him together with them the shall believe on His name ( from the Gentile age - John 1:10 - 13). We became children of God before we were fleshly born here on earth but by predestination. ( Romans 9:23 - 25 says He shall call us His people who were not His - not in 144,000)
  • Chris on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
No, the 144,000 (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel) sealed, virgin, Jewish men who will preach the gospel during the first three and a half years of the "Great Tribulation," will either endure, and go into the earthly Kingdom of Jesus Christ, or be slain and resurrected, to also go into the Kingdom. That's an errant teaching of JWs, that they think it's them. It's not.
  • Janel bucsko on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
So only 144,000 only go to heaven? Where do the rest of us go?
  • Lu2677 on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
Shirley, do you believe Rev. 20:15, if you do, then 1-14 is very clear, what it says, is what will happen. Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus come. Amen

If this war occurs at the end of the thousand years, it would explain the unwalled villages. Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let him that readeth understand, then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Reuben, read Ephesians 2:8-9. We are saved by grace through faith. We are not saved by our works.
