    To: Mark Hudson: ...to the SECOND argument regarding to the missing the flames of hell... ...whosoever was "not found written in the book of life" was cast into the lake of fire ( Revelation 20:15) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie ( Revelation 21:27) the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars ( Revelation 21:8) and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the "books", according to their "works" ( Revelation 20:12)... ...and this includes THEM WHO "DRAW BACK" UNTO PERDITION (Hebrew 10:36-39) who are called "LOST" ( John 17:12) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them like the dog that turned to his own vomit again (2-Peter 2:21-22) whereunto they desire again to be in bondage ( Galatians 4:9)...THEREFORE...we must NOT BELIEVE the LIARS telling us that we shall not be judged when we TURNED BACK AND WERE LOST after we received the remission of our sins by the grace of God through the blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ...

    None of us who are members of Christ's body today will be at the great white thrown judgment. Instead we will appear before the judgment seat of Christ, which is a different event. Remember, the body of Christ meets the Lord in the air and are with him forever. The book of life is only for those who are saved under Israel's prophecy plan.
  • Oluwafemi oshisanya on Revelation 20 - 12 years ago
    THE BOOK OF REVELATION TELLS US ABOUT THE JUDGMENT WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE, AND ALSO TELLING US ABOUT THE FIRST RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD CHRIST JESUS. HE SAID IN PALMS 51 SAYING IN SIN DID MY MOTHER CONCEIVE ME, AND SAID WHAT REWARD IS IT TO GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE LIFE? THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS ALSO TELLING US ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST JESUS, HE WILL COME AND TAKE THE SHEEP OUT OF THE GOAT.

  • Jane on Revelation 20:12 - 13 years ago
    I love the idea that we are writing our own book. That feels so good, so right. It also feels right that the book of Life records belongs to Jesus Christ as God promised him all those who would accept him. But we are all sinners and we will all be judged by what is written in our own book. And the fact that non-Christians will also be judged by their works is wonderful news indeed. It sounds like God knows that there are those who have lived good lives, and why should they live their lives just to lose them, while there are those who loudly proclaim to belong to Christ but abuse little children and do other heinous crimes. God is just!
  • Ken on Revelation 20:12 - 13 years ago
    I try not to comment unless scripture is the foundation. The understanding I get is these books are for those who have accepted Christ "Book Of Life". Then there are books opened for those who do not know Him as Lord and Savior. They are judged from the things they have done; their works, (better put, the way they live their life in sin without Christ). In Noah's time, Sodom and Gomorrah's time, Nineveh, and others in the Bible, God's judgment had to do with sin. Therefore those who are found in the Book of Life are excluded from the books which may be the records of the unsaved persons’ sins.

    @Susan Dalton,
    1. War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!
    2. It has been said that war is God's judgment of sin here on earth and hell (not Hades) is God's judgment of sin hereafter;
    3. War and violence will be continuous on earth until the prince of peace stops it after the white throne judgment ( Revelation 20:15) when eternity begins.
  • David Mensah-Gbekor on Revelation 20:9 - 13 years ago
    Revelation 20:9 talks about the church. Most people think the church is the bride of Christ. Emphatically, No. The church entirely is not the bride of Christ. A portion of the church is the Bride of Christ. Revelation 20:9 talks about all saved Christians (born again). But it reveals two places. The Camp of the Saints and the Beloved City. The Beloved City is the Bride of Christ. The Camp of the Saints are saved Christians (born again). What does it take to move from the camp of the saints when you become born again to the Beloved City. FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
  • Tim Stark on Revelation 20 - 13 years ago
    In my opinion not one of us human beings has a definite answer to anything in the Bible, (God is not telling human beings everything for a reason), if humans had all the answers then there would be no need for us here on earth as long as we are in the flesh. If I am not mistaken, somewhere in Revelation, it says that man will never be at total peace with one another while we are of the flesh. Why don't we all stop talking and through physical gestures, and help each other until we can get out of these garbage mind and bodies that God gave us? Amen!
  • JAMIE MIRANDA on Revelation 20:12 - 13 years ago
    I am confused. I thought we were not to be judged for our works but by our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ the son of God, and that he died for our sins on the cross. I understand our works should reflect our love of Christ and our life in Him but that none of us gets into heaven by our works.
  • Jay on Luke 6 - 13 years ago
    @Patrick,
    I am sympathetic to your situation for I have recently lost my position in a hospital that I have been with for several years because of knee replacement and no longer am able to perform my position at the level that is expected.
    1. A door closed by God cannot be opened by man and a door opened by God cannot be closed by man!
    2. Others maybe dependent on us, but we must always trust in the lord and be always dependent on him ( Proverbs 3:5-8; Philippians 4:19);
    3. As for judgment on the world ( John 16:8-11), we must first judge ourselves to check our standing with God ( 1 Corinthians 11:31,32);
    4. God has already judged sinners at the cross;
    5. God will judge the world, nations, and people according to his holy scriptures by his son Jesus Christ ( Romans 2:14-16);
    6. The judgment seat of Christ for born again Christians ( Romans 14:10, 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Corinthians 3:13);
    7. The white throne judgment for persons who have not been born again ( Revelation 20:11-15);
    8. Born again by the holy spirit only without water baptism or any other works related deeds that some religions require.
  • Troy on Revelation 20:12 - 13 years ago
    Everyone is writing a book and they will be judged by their works. Everyone has had a vision dream or day vision and then seen it come to pass. That is because we were all made in the image of GOD. and He poured out his spirit in Acts 2, and is still doing so today. So the books will be in real time visual on judgment day. If you can read a story and see the story line in your mind, then you know how you book is going to be displayed.
  • Jay on Mark 9 - 13 years ago
    @Nellie,
    On verses 44 and 46, why most other versions (not King James Version 1611) remove these verses. I cannot understand the whole intent of why these verses have been removed. But one can have a good idea when one does a little scripture investigating.
    1. The biblical term worm is in reference to the form (shape) that the unbelievers become in the lake of fire after the white throne judgment ( Revelation 20:11-15);
    2. The fire is a direct reference to the eternal damnation in the lake of fire;
    3. I am sure that this will not be received to better understand that the modern church does not want to upset anyone and that the average modern Christian is wanting to be politically correct and enjoy their watered down versions so they do not come under any convictions about the absolute truth of God's holy word;
    4. Most modern churches will not teach and preach bible truth that make the modern Christians upset about their unsaved friends that they regularly associate with ( 1 Peter 4).
  • Tamra on Revelation 19 - 13 years ago
    Rapture Theory is NOT biblical. It was not known to mankind until the early 1800's, a century that introduced much evil, such as Marx's writings. There will be no sneak peak of Christ to whisk anyone away. What a perfect hoax to be perpetrated by Anti-Christ, who will come looking so holy and good, because he wants the real Christ's position and throne. Who would follow Anti-Christ if he looked obviously scary and bad? Read a good translation of Ezekiel 13:18-22, God is against those folks who would teach His children to fly away to save their souls. God's Elect are instructed to endure until Christ's return and will be rewarded with crowns of gold so they may reign and teach with Him during the Millennium ( Revelation 20:6). If you are standing in a flesh body, looking at someone proclaiming to be Christ, it will be a lie. Matthew 24 says When the true Christ returns THEN we will instantly be transfigured. 777 (Jesus Christ) comes after 666 (Anti-Christ). Blessed be the Lord.
  • Jay on Matthew 7 - 13 years ago
    Verse 22 is a prime example of a person that professes salvation, but does not possess salvation. Romans 10:9-13, this person is in denial of their true relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Galatians 6:7, the time of this event follows the millennial reign of Christ called the white throne Judgment, Revelation 20:11.
  • Dave on Revelation 20:14 - 13 years ago
    First, one must separate death from hell in Revelation 20:14 to understand why it mentions both. First, Death covers those which lived on earth without considering God or acknowledging Him. Secondly, Hell covers those who like the rebellious angels who were cast out of heaven because they were not in agreement wanted to tell God how to run things.

    Verse 12: Whose fan is in his hand,.. The fan is the word of GOD BECAUSE IT DISCERNS THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF MEN ( HEBREWS 4:2)AND JUDGES MEN'S EVIL WAYS ( Revelation 20:13). ...PURGE HIS FLOOR, -THE FLOOR IS THE EARTH AND ALL ITS CREATION, IN THIS CASE THE HUMAN BEINGS. IF THE FLOOR MENTIONED HERE IS THE CHURCH, THEN WHAT ABOUT UNBELIEVERS, SINCE THEY ARE GOING TO BE JUDGED TOO AND THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE CHURCH? THE WHEAT IS THE CHRISTIANS AND THE CHAFF STANDS FOR UNBELIVERS ( ROMANS 10:16). THE GARNER IS HEAVEN AND THE UNQUENCHABLE FIRE IS THE LAKE OF FIRE MADE FOR SATAN.
  • Law code pleader on 1 Corinthians 15:23 - 13 years ago
    There are 3 resurrections. The first one is the reign of 1000 years as indicated ( Revelation 20:3) and a better resurrection ( Hebrews 11:35). The second is the last 100 years when Satan will be loosed for a while ( Revelation 20:7). The third is the lake of fire where enemies of the Creator will be thrown in and burnt up to nothing. Out of the 759 commandments/biblical laws, the particular ones that apply to us - I take it, that it is the amount of commandments that you do to "overcome the world" that will get you into your own order, be it the first or the second.

    Jesus Christ shed his blood, for every ones Salvation. It is only through Jesus Christ that we _may_ have everlasting life.
    Live for the prize not a false punishment. God offers eternity through Christ our Lord.

    If you would go back and read Revelation
    (20:11-15). Wheather great or small you will face
    GOD before the great white throne. And your jugdement will be made through truth and rightiousness. GOD knows right where you are and he knows what you have done good or bad. If you have'nt repented from your evil deeds you need to do it now. If you have'nt received Jesus Christ as LORD and SAVIOR of your life you need to do it now. Nomore waiting these are the last days and if you don't want to be left behind repent if you are backslidden. Nomore running nomore trying to hide it. GOD knows all things,sees all and he is in all. Even you so let go and let GOD.

    How Many Are Sealed?
    10 Jesus said to those in line for this sealing: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” ( Luke 12:32) Other scriptures, such as Revelation 6:11 and Romans 11:25, indicate that the number of this little flock is indeed limited and, in fact, predetermined. John’s next words confirm this: “And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel: Out of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed.”— Revelation 7:4-8.
    11 Could this not be a reference to literal, fleshly Israel? No, for Revelation 7:4-8 diverges from the usual tribal listing. ( Numbers 1:17, 47) Obviously, the listing here is not for the purpose of identifying fleshly Jews by their tribes but to show a similar organizational structure for spiritual Israel. This is balanced. There are to be exactly 144,000 members of this new nation—12,000 from each of 12 tribes. No tribe in this Israel of God is exclusively royal or priestly. The whole nation is to rule as kings, and the whole nation is to serve as priests.— Galatians 6:16; Revelation 20:4, 6.
    12 Although the natural Jews and Jewish proselytes were given the first opportunity to be chosen for spiritual Israel, only a minority of that nation responded. Jehovah therefore extended the invitation to the Gentiles. ( John 1:10-13; Acts 2:4, 7-11; Romans 11:7) As in the case of the Ephesians, who previously had been “alienated from the state of Israel,” now non-Jews could be sealed with God’s spirit and become part of the congregation of anointed Christians. ( Ephesians 2:11-13; 3:5, 6; Acts 15:14) It is appropriate, then, for the 24 elders to sing before the Lamb: “With your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”— Revelation 5:9, 10.
    13 The Christian congregation is “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.” (1 Peter 2:9) Replacing natural Israel as God’s nation, it becomes a new Israel that is “really ‘Israel.’” ( Romans 9:6-8; Matthew 21:43) For this reason, it was quite proper for Jesus’ half brother James to address his pastoral letter “to the twelve tribes that are scattered about,” that is, to the worldwide congregation of anointed Christians that in time would number 144,000.— James 1:1.

    You have been deceived by the Pope. There are no textual words, "are expired." Daniel describes Millennium -- to ever-- 7.27. I am a resident of New Jerusalem and thousand years. Also "when" ( Rev. 20.7) is actually, "with" (meta). I have only Bible translation with "real words." The Pope and the Antichrist Jews have their hooks in you.
