I guess that means Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but through Him. And without Him we can do nothing. I've seen children who were lost or separated from their parents at the store, mall, dept. store, etc. When the children are and reunited with their loved ones they are always crying. Being lost and alone is perhaps the scariest state of mind there is for a little child completely severed from the only love he she knows. I couldn't imagine being eternally separated from my Creator. we weren't designed for that.
  • Will on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
Death in the Great Book always refers to separation not inialation.. Eternal beings are eternal which be its very definition cannot be uneternal through inialation. The spirit separated from the Spirit in Gen 3.. The spirit separated from the body all the way through the Scriptures until ressurected together for judgement.. Rev 20 speaks of the final or second separation which is eternal separation from the presence of our Great Creator
  • Shurlan on Revelation 20 - 10 years ago
Revelations chapter 20 speaks about the first and second death, this shows there is a death off the body and also death to the sole. In the end when everyone is judged by God, there will be the fortunate ones and the unfortunate ones in other words the good people and the bad . The last verse speaks about hell and death being cast into the lake of fire were it will no longer exist . So the answer is yes you need to live a righteous life to gain everlasting life and the glories of God, and if you failed to do so and not accept the salvation of God through Jesus Christ your soul will be eradicated in the second death . Evil will pay the price for being what it is because it does not belong in the presence of good, it's just a matter of time when it will all be set into place .

All the people born in the thousand year mill. Will have to be tried, to see if they want to serve The Lord or serve the devil. Most of them are going to serve the devil, just like it is today.
  • KAREN on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
we all sin and fall short of the glory of God, the Bible does say all who believe in Jesus and he is the son of God will be saved? Now you have to live a certain way to be saved?
  • Phil on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Evangelist Robinson 2Thess 2:1-3say that man of sin be revealed before the Lord Jesus Christ come and gather His saints
  • Rev. Tim George on Revelation 20:4 - 11 years ago
The souls of those who are beheaded for their testimony of Jesus, are before the altar in heaven. Jesus will resurrect them when he comes to set up His kingdom, and they will rule with him one thousand years in the kingdom of God. Then the Devil will be loosed from the bottomless pit, to deceive the nations once again, for a season. Jesus will cause fire to come down from heaven to destroy them all.The kingdom shall be without end, and the Devil will be cast into the Lake of Fire, with the Antichrist, and False prophet. So repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Do not add or subtract from the Holy Scriptures or your name will be blotted out of the Book of Life.
  • JC Rules on Revelation 20:14 - 11 years ago
The Bible in Revelation says that there will be no more death, that all things old have passed away,so if death is cast into the lake of fire, and hell is cast into the lake of fire, and the wicked are cast into the lake of fire, then it must mean all of them are no more, and don 't exist in eternity...
  • Despo on Revelation 20:13 - 11 years ago
A translational error: Hades isn't the same as hell. Hades is the same as the grave. A waiting place for judgement day.

  • RNM 20 4 on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
REV 20-4...The only thing we have to go on is what the bible says, and it is pretty clear that the 1000 years begins after the 2nd coming of our Lord and KING, which may be soon! I hope! The evil that is in the Earth has been here since the beginning, before the flood, after the flood up and till this very day we live, it is the nature of man, and what our Heavenly Father is doing, is sifting out the evil disobedience of mankind along with satan and his angelic following, to create a Kingdom of beings that are Godlike minded and loving and obedient, HIS CHILDREN! leaving SIN, HATRED AND DISOBEDIENCE, for a memory, in the Kingdom to come thanks to our HOLY SOVEREIGN GOD OF THE UNIVERSE. AMEN!!
  • Sue on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
I think that this 1000 years is over and now the devil and satan are on the earth raising havoc and war. This will go on for a little while it says. Then God will distroy with fire to devour.
  • RNM REV20----9 on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
You are not the first that has mentioned the second chance idea. And II Peter 3:10 shows us why it is not possible according to scripture. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. What this scripture is saying despite what the church world preach, when the Messiah comes He comes as the DESTROYER and at this time nothing on Earth is left alive. The body of believers will be taken at this same moment to meet the Lord in the air and will be taken back with the Lord to his habitation, HEAVEN, the earth will remain void, and desolate for a thousand years, until the time of Judgment is over. AMEN!!

  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Hello Pastor Doug The word "rapture " does not appear in the Bible. The word itself means a catching away both in body and in spirit. When you look at 1 Thessalonians 4 12 thru 18 it speaks of those being caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord. So even though the word rapture does not appear the indication of a catching away is there. Even Jesus Christ talks about one will be taken and one left, Matthew 24 40. The power that will enable a person to do this is the Holy Ghost. This is why it is important to follow Acts 2 38 and live a saved life according to the scriptures. Also through this power a person will be changed in a moment of a twinkling of an eye, 1 Corinthians 15 52.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Part 3 of 3 The beast will not appear until after the rapture takes place as well, because people will have to take the mark of the beast, which is 666 in order to buy or sell during the tribulation. If the people do not take this mark they will have to have their head chopped off. President Obama has not told anyone they have to have the mark of 666 in order to buy or sell anything. There has not been an announcement that anyone has to have their head chopped off.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Part 2 of 3 1 John 4 3 "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world. The true false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire along with the beast and the devil, Revelation 20 10.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Hello Dan President Obama is not the antichrist or the beast. If I can say it like this, the antichrist or the false prophet the one that will lead the one world religion will not step on the scene until after the church is raptured out of here. The spirit of the antichrist however is everywhere. False prophets are everywhere. These are the people who do not believe that Jesus Christ is not only come in the flesh but does not believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh,
  • Dante Campbell on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
The beast is Obama, the harlot is America, the 7 heads are the 7 most powerful countries and the 10 horns are Muslim nations. ...Jesus will govern this earth for 1000 years. ..this heaven and earth will roll up like a scroll....the new jerusalem will desend from heaven and be the Kingdom of God for all the saints where Jesus and God will live amongst them
  • Pastor Doug on Revelation 20 - 11 years ago
Dennis, please know that the word "rapture " does not appear anywhere in the Bible. No one shall be taken to heaven as no man ascends to heaven except the one who came from heaven... Jesus. Jesus said so Himself John 3 13 Heaven is God 's abode and nowhere in the Bible does it ever mention that anyone shall go to a Kingdom IN Heaven, but only the Kingdom OF Heaven. Jesus said He will go to his Father 's house heaven and prepare a place for us and then return to earth to be with us and for us to be with Him. John saw the Kingdom of Heaven come down from Heaven, prepared... Rev. 21 The Kingdom "of " Heaven shall be set up right here on this earth and if you did not learn that in Bible College, then they were using the wrong Bible.

This person wanting to know about the Rapture needs to no what the word mean . It is when Jesus returns and the dead come alive again. Or if you give your heart to Jesus you will never die , even tho you close your eyes to this would you will live in him for ever more. What a comfort to know their is life in him.
