I need a better understanding in verse 1 and 2 " And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Surely. I say unto thee. If they who say they have understood what is written. Then holy to them. Amen. If one is truly with Jesus or the Father. It is they who are the holy. Amen to the meek who cometh first. Amen Father, Jesus, Holy Ghost.

See Rev. 22 18 19 in 1611 these scripture were translated into English from Greek, Latin, Hebrew and others. So when words are translated the goal is to hold on to the meaning. Like in the English translation of the Hebrew Testament Gen. 17 1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him 'I am God Almighty walk before Me, and be thou wholehearted. Wholehearted Which all men can be. KJV be thou perfect Perfect Which no man can be. Consider the meaning

There are four categories of people as far as this verse is concerned. 1. the evil people 2. the unclean people 3. righteous people 4. holy people. Anybody that is practicing either of the four should continue with it. The bible says we cannot serve two masters. So, the evil people should continue with their evil doing likewise, the unclean should continue with the uncleanness, the righteous should continue with their righteousness and finally, the holy should should continue with their holiness. We shall all have our rewards.

I think it 's pretty obvious that the words written are permanent and that there wasn 't a need to tell people not to take away.

Revelation 22 21 the very last verse of the Bible, contains the very last italicized word of the Bible i.e. "be " one word, two letters, one consonant, one vowel. Without this italicized word "be ", "The Bible Formula " looses it 's tangible concrete evidence. Thank you Lord Jesus, amen

God, is a spirit, those who worship him must worship him in the spirit and with truth. So ask him to come into your life, and if you mean it from your heart! He will come into your life through his son, Jesus Christ. The only God , Spelled with a small g, is a pegon god, like the godess of the stars, or zenith, or sun. The God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob, is spelled with Capitol G. God! There 's no greater God! Amen. The book of Revelation, is well defined book. It tell us of the times to come after all the suffering the saints have gone through. Past and Present. It 's God guaranteeing our ending. This why God, states. I am the Alfa the Omega, the first and the last. Which was am and is to come. God,is telling us he knows all. And his son, Jesus Christ, is telling us in word, that he was there to witness it all. From the beginning! Amen.
  • DAVID TWOMBLY on Revelation 22 - 12 years ago
The King James Bible is the everlasting LIVING eternal Word Of GOD, AND ALL HUMANS, ESPECIALLY MYSELF, ARE INSIGNIFICANT, AND TOTALLY UNWORTHY, AND FAR TOO UNLEARNED, TO EVER EVEN BEGIN TO OFFER COMMENT ON IT.
  • Pamela Wade on Revelation 22 - 12 years ago
its more a question, when God came to the garden of Eden to see Adam and Eve clothed, was it eating the fruit, or a spiritual lesson that Adam and Eve violated that created being put out, and what does the 1000 years in the bible signify? was Adam and Eve to learn something in those years that before they got the knowledge that was given to them by the serpent?
  • Daniel on Revelation 22 - 12 years ago
Its clear either choose life or death. Heven or hell, god gives us all free will. Its scary thinking about what is to come but thats why god gives us time to prepare and learn from our mistakes. I pray for the non believers because god is coming back with no mercy.

By faith are you saved lest any man should boast We are saved by grace but we are rewarded for our works As James said Faith without works is dead Works without faith is dead
  • Jayv Pilai on Revelation 22:12 - 12 years ago
Unlike the popular belief amongst Christians that we are Saved by just Grace Faith alone Eph 2 8 Jesus statement in 22 12 Revalation confirms otherwise It affirms my belief that Works is an integral part of Salvation in the Christian Faith All those who say otherwise are spreading false doctrine Easy Christianity is appealing Who wants to do hard work when you can obtain Salvation without it Who will not prefer to get a University Degree without passing any exam Works are according to Jesus the yardstick with which He is going to give us the rewards when we leave this material world Jesus never said otherwise Genuine Belief in Him and Works are the necessary ingredients to Salvation
  • Larry parker on Revelation 22 - 12 years ago
The word of God are faithful and true and he is still sending his prophets to let us know that these things will come to pass It is up to us to believe or not to believe He want us all who serve Him to spread the word of His goodness

Jesus is coming back and he is just He will give everyone what they deserve and or what they earned So whatever you get is based on your works or how you lived For example If you worked thirty hours last week dont expect to get a forty hour check God will make sure you get what you earned
  • ERIK ALAN SILBERBERG SR. on Revelation 22:15 - 12 years ago
I think the mention of dogs in this verse is referred to people who just cant seem to get it right Dogs eat or play in waste that has already passed through their body The mess they go back to isnt good for nothing but the sewer After JESUS delivers us from our sins or the horribe state we were in lets not give into the dog spirit and go backwards and miss heaven Also stay away from others who induldge in this type of behavoir

That is to say,Jesus Christ is our Eternal Lord and God and Saviour. His essence,Power and Authority remain the same even before the beginning of all things, both those in Heaven and on earth and beneath the earth or the sea.Though all things shall pass but He is Everlasting God. He is known as the Mighty God and Everlasting Father( Isaiah 9:6),meaning He ever existed and created all things in His power ( John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16). He is the Sustainer of all things ( Colossians 1:17),without Him nothing will exist ,including dark spirits. He is the Saviour of the world(Redeemer). He is the only Loving God who laid His life down to save all men from the death penalty of their sins when everybody had gone astray( Isaiah 53:4-6)-Behold,the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world! ( John 1:29). He is the Supreme Judge for all humans( Matthew 25:31-46),and the Sovereign Lord Who is to come and reward the good deeds of men,and punish men for their wickedness( Revelation 22:12-13).

How can people read this verse and still believe a person goes to heaven or even hell when they die? And 1Thes. 4:16 goes supports this.
  • JULIUS on Revelation 22:7 - 12 years ago
