Amen! Regarding this verse. But, the image of the cross? We are not to worship the instrument of death that Jesus was nailed to. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. Revelation 22:9

That's right, no more ten commandments, but we are under Jesus law now, also look at Colossians 2:14, and acts 15:24, very clear that the law is done with, but by no means are we free to sin.
  • George EBejer on Revelation 22:14 - 10 years ago
Sir, You said that: Jesus nailed the sacrifical laws to the cross and not the Ten Commandments. Then what is the meaning of Ephesians 2:13-15 - "13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace "? We should obey the commandment of Christ today. Most of those commandments are repoeated in the NT. Thank you George Ebejer

Bless us all. I prefer to believe that God wants us to read and study so that we may come to our own interpretations. I believe he enjoys the banter but to try and force others to your own interpretations is not the goal. It is one man's understanding to himself with God is sacred. I mean, how many religions pray to the God of Abraham?More than I can count, but I believe a man finds God on and in his own environment. The similarities I find mind boggling. I don'the know how anyone can deny that.

We are seing famines all over today: aids, venereal deseases, world hunger, the rich planning to leave Earth in some sort of beast machine roaming the Universe. Riots, bombings, wars, these are all signs revealed in this age. Still people remain cold, unbelieving, unfaithful, self seekers. What more prove does anyone need to show us that God is a God of all times... who sees all, knows all and relates to all of our ways... Not to mention all of the religions..in the last days He said" many will come in my name: the list is endless of the religious powers roaming the Earth today.

whether by 'addition and or subtraction. There shouldn 't be any human implication whether by empty space. Don 't add or subtract, simple. The word of God is settle and forever settle. Apocrypha, OK! I love it 's saying, but can 't be compel to The present holy bible sayings. I Think there was evidence that man wrote it. but the Holy Bible is written by aspiration from Almighty God. Thanks

I think that as in many other cases in Revelation a book written in times of persecution some ideas were written in code so that Romans could not hold it as a proof against the Christian who carried it. The Roman way of life, with its many excesses, was a negative model for the Christian who seeks not the pleasures and powers of this world, but love and the kingdom of God after this life. The symbolic value of the dog here in the context of those left outside the city where life is or without the definitive happiness may describe a type of person in relation with its animal negative qualities: promiscuity, lack of shame for bodily functions, anger or rage towards strangers, maybe the act of being submissive to another man who provides food or worldly rewards, instead of seeking the spiritual higher calling of God.

What I wanna know and what bugs me is, why is it that the other verse of the bible, besides the KJV, refer to lucifer as "son of the morning star " in verse 12. We know only 1 star and that 's JESUS CHRIS, like known in Revelation 22:16. So someone please help me

The book of Revelation signals the end for manhind, and the terrifying ,evil events that have been staged of future events, yet God has assured us to be faithful unto death, and he will give us the crown of life.Death is only a transformation,a transition from the earthly body,Yes ,a transition to a magnificent spiritual world that awaits us all true believing "Born Again ",Christian people,it is a beautiful loving gift from our "Creator " GOD,like a Christmas present, like an accomplished graduation award, where all are passing scores, where a certificate of accomplishment will be awarded in "HEAVEN ".. "ENTER INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD ".Where in earth,we suffered tribulations of depression, guilt, accussed falsly, hated, mistreated,,etc.yet we passed with flying colores, cause we came to know "JESUS ",as our SAVIOUR and LORD.

One of the first books of the bible I read. I believe that 's no mere coincidence. We are living in the last days, and I believe The book of Revelation is as good a book to start as any. This is your time machine. Climb aboard.

It is good to worship the LORD in a congregation, most people in todays world have Sundays off, so is good to worship the LORD together on Sundays,.... or you want to make another day the day of worship just because your reasoning. your ways are not my ways, your thoughts are not my thoughts. Says the LORD...there is no wisdom, nor knowledge, nor counsel against the LORD...!

REV-22-4-23...Jay Plumlee, 1 Peter 4:15...But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, OR AS A BUSYBODY IN OTHER MEN 'S MATTERS. AMEN!!
  • Jay Plumlee on Revelation 22:11 - 11 years ago
We are to be witnesses to the lost- not be their saviors. We are not supposed to reasoning with someone who seeks only to waste our time playing silly games with us. Jesus said "You follow me ". Did Jesus follow after those who refused to listen to wisdom? Did he chase after those who mocked God? Did Noah waste his time pleading with those who refused to get into the Ark? If he did waste his time like that... would the Ark have been built? We are to be witnesses of what we know to be true. Those we speak to must decide for themselves what is true or false. Beware of the "Time Bandits " who just want to trap you so you go nowhere.

Hello RNM, very interesting and complex subject concerning the day change of the Holy Sabbath of God. Let me begin by saying I believe along with a magority of Christian scholars that the apostle started to celebrate the Sabbath on the first day of the week when they realized that Jesus Christ had resurrected from the dead. To direct all true believers from the law of God given by Moses to the new covenant of salvation through grace and truth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. There was no law that could save us sinners but like the apostle Paul said the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we may be justified by faith in Jesus Christ. Not considering anything else I believe the Holy Spirit is honoring Christ by celebrating God,s Sabbath on the first day of the week under the law but also what appear to be more significant the resurrection day of Jesus Christ. God bless you and all our understanding of Scripture.
  • Hans Lim on Revelation 22:1 - 11 years ago
I think instead of the throne of God, but the intention is the Father 's throne. God includes three persons of the Trinity. so my understanding in this paragraph is the Father 's throne and the throne of the Lamb
