I meant to say, to atone for our sins. So grace is something that is given to us when we don't deserve it. Mercy is something that is NOT given to us when we do deserve it.
Christ Atonement is when He died on the Cross to atone for our death. He took Our sins at calvary and went to hell for us so we would not have to. That is Grace from God for giving us heaven when we deserve Hell. Also Mercy For not Giving us Hell when we deserve us. Grace though can be experienced by anyone even the ones not saved. BC God is giving them each day to have another chance to be saved.
