As a gentile but saved by grace, what about the Law, including the 4th Commandment on Sabbath, does it affect my serving God on Sunday?

Sunday is the first day of the week and would be considered a work day anyway according to the scriptures. Also it is known that it is lawful to serve God(or do good which still serves God by the way...) even on the Sabbath as Jesus Christ the Messiah did. Remember that we are to do our best to serve Jesus Christ every day. Ask the Father for forgiveness and do your best. Don't read the scriptures. Study the scriptures try to understand what is good and incorporate the teachings into your life... study the Bible from beginning to end... and then study it some more.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

I had a salvation experience sorta like apostle Paul. Except I was interpreting a natal Astrology chart I had made: on Yom Kippur.

My comment is this:

I did not comprehend what happened to me when I laid my head on the Bible and spoke, "I deserve to die for what I've done. After reading the penalty: sentence of Death.

I saw a vision of hell, and then I took hold of a invisible Hand. I was delivered of everything. 2 days later I told someone I had been saved.

We gotta get in there and force feed a lot of scripture ASAP. The demons were hanging around my home, trying to kill me or frighten me. They didn't have a home anymore.

I started going to Church and the Pastor was just starting a series on The Curse of the Occult. Being good Baptists, they would cast the demons out of the Church in corporate prayer, first. A demon would say: "you better get up and come with us!"So hateful and cruel.

A word of knowledge was given to the praise leader; he spoke it... "a person who was into the occult come forward". I went. I was prayed for on the spot. I knew that I was free that day. I was still accused daily through spiritual attacks against my mind.

I knew the Holy Spirit was helping me; was inside of me. I read Acts 19:19 and burned everything occult, beer shirts.

Next Sunday I decided once and for all time to show Satan I belonged to Jesus and none other. I was baptized and I was never oppressed again.

You must consume mass quantities of the Bible to garnish your spiritual house (YOU). We have an Eye Gate, Ear Gate, Mouth Gate. Only the Bible can make your gates strong and impenetrable. Wean yourself off media and Music that excites the flesh.

We are not under the Law to be, or not to be water baptised. Do it according to your conscience. It means more to you, when you do it for the right reasons.

You are already born again and baptized with the indwelling Holy Spirit. Be at peace.

you are not under the law but I am. The law has not been done away with is forever.

I don't really know my ancestry. My Dads side, a lot of preachers (Cajun). My Moms side, was peppered with the occult influence. I loved my Dad. He was gentle, kind, hardworking and taught us the Golden Rule. God filled my life at age 5. Showed me every day what He was really like. It carried me through that really dark time of my life. I knew God was good. Could be relied upon no matter what happens. Satan has power to cause all kinds of storms (Job), but God is on our side. To get through it. Learn from it. Never give up or cower in the dirt, again. Don't listen to ACCUSING Advise. Hear God only, through His Son; Jesus. Stand within the peace and calm in the eye of the storms. Stand solidly on the Word of the Bible. Heresy is as bad as Occult. Let's rely on the Lord of this Bible and seek the Holy Spirit with all your strength.

See, in Job and other places, that Satan is an Adversary of Gods Word. He studies us intently, looking for the weak places, the hidden compromises, the secret fears. If we do not fill in the gaps, build up the hedges and stand guard through our prayer lives: he will sneak back in to shake our faith in Jesus.

We all sin. We are all being tempted every day. We do not have to cower to the "Goliaths" out there. Find the shepherd boy within your own heart. Fill your hand with the "stones" (scriptures that have taken root in the good soil of your heart)...kill those giants that oppose you.

David was tending sheep. Lots of quality time alone with God. Learning through practice, the HEART of God. It is all through the Bible! Every page. He picked us to conquer and destroy our invisible enemies (Eph.6)

We don't just save our own skins. God wants us to fight on our knees for others who are weak.

We can fight for this nation while we are still here.

Father in heaven, revive intercessory prayer inside the Churches. Teach us WAR, on our knees. We are His Church. ONE BODY.

Mishael, I want to thank you for all your comments, as the Holy Spirit is using your words (and the words of others) to draw me closer to God and to Scripture. Bless you! I was drawn out of the occult as well. My mother was very into astrology, and I slipped into it, even began Tarot, etc. But nothing touched me as deeply as the washing of the water of the Word. I was saved in a Zen Buddhist monastery, in the middle of doing a Korean mantra, Christ came to me. I have never been the same since. That was 35 years ago. Praise God! During this year of "Covid" I have gotten so much closer to the Lord, through his Word, and through prayer. And I feel very called to intercessory prayer, more than to anything else. I keep getting images in the spirit of a Sword, and of Bows, shooting my bows, and of the armour of God... I work in a public elementary school, I love children, and I feel called to follow my spiritual vocation there especially, as teachings are coming through the schools that feel waaaay off the spirit of truth. I am especially drawn these days to scriptures that are equipping me for a battle. I spent most of my Christian life hiding, but God was preparing me. The battle is not carnal but mighty through God..... principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. Outwardly, we reflect the peace of Christ..... but inwardly, devils flee.....
