Dear Mama Cass, I realized we all have differing views on this topic. Adam and I were speaking about what we had learned about the case. We may be wrong or correct, just like anyone else. God knows the truth of it all and it is ok to pray for Him to intervene in our justice system if He feels a need to on behalf of Officer Chavin. I think it is very sad tat George Floyd made the choices he did, especially by swallowing lethal doses of drugs, that led to his death, (in my opinion) Our country is being swamped by so many who are dying from drug overdoses. It grieves me like it does for Mr. Floyd. I am not hard hearted, as the verse you listed seems to be what you wish to associate me with. I hate that that encounter happened. Each person made their own choices in the situation, and for Mr. Floyd, is led to a sad end. But it seems that you think differently. I respect that, as I would ask that you respect my thoughts as well. I am not meaning to dig up the subject. I am responding to posts as it seems appropriate, just like everyone else. I think we can most likely exit this subject, but I do welcome your ideas as well. God Bless.
