I have spent a lot of time on the street . I find strictly following the King James Bible get you there but keeps me alive . and living out of a suitcase . are there any other members here? I've been here a while I've only spoken to one . please talk to me.

I am glad that you are reading the Bible. You will find the Lord's company with you when you continue to do this. I will be praying for you to be able to become established with housing, work and resources to help you in your journey. I imagine that living on the streets is challenging in so many ways. And I am glad you were not injured with the event with the live wire! Many of us have had those close encounters with situations that are so dangerous or life threatening and somehow came away ok.
Didn't know he got a place since he didn't mention it to me. That was a concern I had I'm glad you or someone else prayed about it; I could only infer from his comments as to his situation.
Anyway I got away for a few days and am starting to get info how to proceed with my mom who is at least open to consideration but there are things she has to do such as be real with her doctors and get references for further treatments and be willing to spend money on it. I appreciate your prayers for me as well.
Glad also you are pushing ahead with my abandoned idea of going through letters of the alphabet on God's character. Shows you are more committed than I to things I am scatterbrained and I guess didn't want to commit to that after all.
There is one burning issue that I want to address with that subject and that is how serious unbelief is; and also how important it is that we exhort people that they pursue whatever it is they recognize of a righteous God; and to see Christ's Holiness and our need to heed His voice. I have voiced this often and am sure you agree that the STATE of sin or root in the heart is the core of the issue; particular sins just a symptom. The same could be said of GOOD fruit; evidences that most people will see of Christ is in believers who are living out what they believe. That is also a "symptom" if I can use that word of a pure heart; and those who it is reaching are uncomfortable (we are like the castor oil of the spiritual dimension). Our display of Christ in our hearts should be drawing all men to Himself. Not the case in today's lukewarm church most of the time.
It is hard to be balanced I suppose we could appeal to Deut. 29:29 every time we can't understand something. As with anything else these doctrines should help illuminate God's character and man's state but a lot of times and often on this site it seems an issue bogs people down and could be used by the enemy to take focus away from the Great Commission.
My prayers are with you, I know what you are facing, I took care of my mother who had dementia, for 8 years. I do not know what stage your father is in but there are many. May God give you the strength to travel this road that will not be easy, and may He send you help. Keep this in mind what happens whether it is anger, paranoia, hallucinations, and more, it is the disease, not your father. These trials may seem like they will never end, but we know what our hope is, and what is to come, all these pains and agonies will be wiped away, we must keep our eyes on Jesus.
I will continue to pray for Nathan and for his mom. May he get all the support, treatment, and nurture he needs during this panful, difficult, and life-changing situation.
Richard, I am always glad to pray for you and your parents. It seems that things have been pretty trying for you and that is getting you down a bit. I will pray for God to keep you in His joy and peace through all of this.
Am trying to assess the next 30 days as to what happens; there are two appointments very important my mom should physically get to; if that doesn't happen I will have to get out of here and discuss things with the other relative on the G Power of Attorney as they both have issues that make staying here difficult. My mom's hernia can perhaps be helped if she actually goes to the local chiropractor which she has delayed now a couple weeks in her self attempt to have enough air to have the energy to get to the car with an afternoon appointment. She had a telephone doctor call with her cardio and missed her regular chiro appt (although this new person could probably do all the stuff the other doctor did as well). She has a regular doctor appt near the end of July again that is vital.
Went through a friend of mine after she seemed like she was from her own admission ready to find a home health care person. Got hollered at after I told her I would call this person and she actually planned to stop by; but her proselytizing is what turned her off. She keeps asking me what it is that I don't feel that I want to help her with in regard to errands; since her health is my primary concern and dealing with my dad's dementia; that is my real worry.
I did find a nice place to stay out of town and the man is amenable if I stay there long term very cheaply for an extended time.
It is obvious the reaction I will get from my mom if I get my cousin involved but I can't see any other option; am still hoping she will actually get to this chiropractor and that he can actually help her; if so she needs to be at a normal weight. For now her blood pressure was a bit low but doesn't seem to be a huge issue for now. With my dad's age though it overwhelms her. If I do go away I will be close enough to make a trip home once a week until they get someone; my mom knows someone who she met as a health care aid but she probably needs to be in a facility. Thanks for prayer.
Your prayers work. Miracle on 3 + 4 = 7th Street. I didn't pass inspection for property in one place . and miraculously I did pass the inspection on the same report for another place . so I have a new apartment. God bless you for praying for me, GiGi! :)
God is the one who answers our prayers, we do nothing but petition. I am so glad that you now have a place to live. Praise the Lord for providing for your need! Prayer works because God is sovereign and able to do all that pleases Him for those who ask of Him.

I used to live in Pittsburgh and I think someone told me something similar where a wire electrocuted several people altogether until the guy got rescued. The Lord had me close to being hit by a train when I was a kid and some girl pulled me out; I had a bullet shot through the ceiling when someone claimed they were "cleaning their gun" and no one including my cat was hit; was able to swerve to just miss a head on with someone in the wrong lane about a year ago going full speed to name a few things in my life.
It is good to be cognizant and not cause an early demise because of sin and or stupidity; but also trust the Lord in His timing knows when we will be born and when we die; and when this Rapture finally occurs. It is; of course where we are going that is the crucial thing at the end of our earthly tabernacles; and as Paul said in Philippians to live is Christ and to die is gain (chapter 1; verse 21). He also wished to run for the prize and to accomplish as a man in the races as much as he could bringing himself under strong discipline.
Sounds like you may live on the street; I will seek the Lord as to opening avenues for you for finances; work you can handle and shelter as well as food.

Nonetheless; as I said in the last post the battles are fierce and we have a strong need to pray for the youth in this hour when suicide; drugs and gun violence are getting to be the number one killer today of that age group.
Discipling is also something commanded in the Great Commission but it seems painfully limited in churches today. There are other information sources; no doubt that can be recommended even here. Perhaps on this site a healthy question and answer sort of dialogue is helpful; and of course those who we know are living out their faith are good examples. It is better to primarily utilize men for men; women for women but sometimes as in my case women are more open to share things and give interaction. We especially see a lack of older women counseling younger in churches and here as well from what I can see.
Accountability is part of discipleship; again there are limitations here. there's certainly is no wrong way to minister if the Lord is leading you . what really made the King James Bible stand out amongst "other versions" and other false doctrine, was an experience with a pastor, where he played god, with my life. Amongst other ways he damaged my life, he claimed to know what talent I have and that I don't know what talent I have . he tried to use money to sway me into his way of thinking.
Dear Mr. Ballou: I am still trying to assess the best way to minister here. I have been posting rather frequently the last couple years. There are a handful of individuals that respond with some regularity; GIGI being the one who is most communicative; and I consider her to be a true woman of faith who is very intelligent in the Word. My approach is usually to start with a subject or concept then build scriptures around it which mirrors my thought processes; rather than finding a Biblical theme or expository preaching as it were; although there are times I have lately commented on certain scriptural passages. I try to think "outside the box" and be cognizant of what's going on in not only the mainline news but alternative news; history; and focus on Bible Prophecy a great deal. I have gone through the subject of Predestination and other points of Calvin with a specific study focusing on these themes in the Book of John at some point last year. I tend to write very quickly and find scriptures on a search so that there is normally a nice helping as it were of scriptures to back up anything I say...admittedly there have been a few postings of late not so much so.
As to prayer on this site; I have had a concern for quite a while that there is no organized commitment so that any serious requests are granted. It may be up to us and I will mention this to you although I don't know you that well; that looking to find those that have been missed as you have and praying for them would be a good ministry.
I am torn between an interest in deeper delving into some of the broad subjects here and the quagmires that often result through disagreements where it seems nothing edifying comes out of it. Again there are rules here as to derogatory or demamatory language being excluded but we should probably monitor for ourselves to avoid these pitfalls.
As a friend of mine said a few years back he was "desperate for prayer" the war is won; but battles fierce.

oh I'll go ahead and say it praise the Lord ! I was not aiming for it . this was no case of temp the Lord . I was flabbergasted it was there . was wondering why professional people had not moved it , and try hard to avoid it but still kicked it . had a surprise look on my face . was going to say shocked but I thought better of it . and I only felt the kick and I survived . I've had many miracles . I feel it's important to report each one , from the bike and me who were lifted off the street by invisible Force, before a careening car with a drunk driver behind the wheel bounce off the same curve I was walking against, as the car was behind my back , to this . Jesus reminding me he's always with me , even with the devil roaring in my ear , literally . want to say doctors ask me if I hear anything, of course don't tell them that.
Yes, I will, it seems like we are almost in the same situation, My brother needs salvation and your sister needs salvation. I will gladly pray for her.

Hello Dear Brother it's good to hear from you and to be able to speak to you through this forum . I'm sorry for your present circumstances and hope and pray that they will improve soon . It must be very difficult for you to try to live your life in a way that is acceptable to God in your situation . Keep doing your best and always pray to God to thank Him for what you do have and to ask Him to help you to know the best choices to make to improve your condition . He is always with you and will never leave you so cling to Him tight every day He will get you through this trying time .
