Predestination: it cannot be denied for it clearly states it in the scriptures .( Ephesians) it's the understanding if it is the problem not helped by a lot of carnal and unbiblical thinking trying to do so .

Might I suggest we go back to the scriptures and let them do the talking?

Genesis is tye book of beginnings and every " sound doctrine" has its first mention there,

Every seed brings forth after its own kind . We are Mankind .not a dog kind nor a fish kind nor some sort of ape kind but Mankind on the foundation of that law if you will and it is Man who was created first out of the dust of the earth who has the seed .and woman out of the body of the man who has the egg . We are Mankind overall . Man in general and men or women in particular there is nothing else .

A seed then is preordained and predestined to bring forth fruit after its own kind. When Adam sinned he corrupted himself and became subject to sin and death . He being the father of mankind thus corrupted his seed that was in him who also became subjecti sin and death . For if "Levi was in the loins of Abraham " then you and I were in the loins of Adam . "And by one man's disobedience all die" Thus ALL men are predestined to that end for by the Law of God that states every seed brings forth fruit after its own kind then a corrupted seed can but bring forth corruption unto death .

But glory to God that same law applies to the"incorruptibl seed which is the Wird of God" that is predestined to bring forth righteousness unto life .

Jesus speaking of Himself said " unless a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die it abideth alone. But if it does it will bring forth much fruit " what sort of fruit? After its own kind . A true born child of God therefore has not only been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Gods dear Son but from one predestinated end to another..

And predestinated in Christ from before the foundations of the world unto good works that we should walk in them

    Hello Momsage,

If i may add w.r.t the topic it is not God but the Law of the Spirit that has set the predestination. God, a Spirit has set the Law which is Word to rule his kingdom. Law cannot be half the time good so when you turn on the tap water you drink is clean and some of the time is poison. The Law is transparent and true. Always. "The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished."(Pr.16:4-5)

The proud in heart follows the law of sin, which is according to the flesh. The Word is made flesh and he showed humility as doable. So the world where Law of the Spirit rules is a kingdom of light.Being conformed to the image of the Son is what the Law intends with predestination. You determine in your flesh whether you are called under the Law of the Spirit or not. If you are dead in the flesh, and are led by the Spirit you are sons of God. No exception to the rule. But you have free will to choose. "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:/For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience" ( Col 3:5-6) Those who are disobedient shall be judged according to their works. Who are obedient are alive in Christ and free from condemnation. (Ro.8:1) There is no middle ground.

    Hello Gerald:

I know you have discussed this belief quite a lot but not very much with me so I hope you don't mind my asking a quick question. I have asked it before, not necessarily of you, without getting a response.

Below I have listed a definition of predestination and foreordaining just to be sure I understand what you mean by this doctrine.

The dictionary defines predestination as: The divine decree foreordaining all souls to either salvation or damnation. And foreordaining as: To determine or appoint beforehand; predestine.

My question: Please explain how God is not an unfair, respecter of souls if He allows some to be born for damnation to hell with no choice of their own, no free will too be able to love God or not.

Perhaps there are others who believe in this doctrine that might want to make a comment also.

    God Bless :)

    Thank you for your message.

In an attempt to answer you I wouod first say that a dictionary expecially in these last days is not the best place to get a definition of any biblical matter .

The Bible has its own internal logic and reasoning and one must always let it define itseLf.

The other point is the matter of approach to the subject . God is totally good just and perfect . Start that as a foundation for yiyr thinking and with Gods help by the Holy Spirit you will always come to a better understanding or a " knowledge of the truth"

" For what knoweth the things of man save the spirit that is in man? Likewise what knoweth the things of God save thecSpirit of God"?

If " ALL scripture is inspired by God .." then by the dame measure f Spirit men were so inspired to write the scriptures ,then by the same measure the Holy Spirit is needed to understand what is written.

We then come to your message and taking the dictionary definition of predestination you have started from the wrong place and arrived at your conclusions about God accordingly .A more. careful reading of my original Post will show I have already answered your difilculty in some measure . Not by going to the dictionary but to the scourge . The Bible . For it is a lamp unto my feet ( it shows us where we are ) and a light unto my path ( and where we are going) .

But in a nutshell I said outside of Christ we were all " chiodren of disobedience" children of wrath " ( ephesians) and seeing we were all born of a corrupted seed ( Adam ) by that one man's disobedience "we all die" Romans.

Thus by that law of God that states ' every seed brings forth fruit after its own kind" each kind of seed is preordained and predestined to bring forth fruit after its own kind.

By natural birth therefore there is not one person who is not predestined by that law to corruption and death and damnation.

Hence the imperative " you MUST be born again " not of corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed.
