I would like to be absolutely certain of my salvation. I've been going through some intense anxiety and almost panic. Prayers are very much appreciated, thank you.
Why aren't you certain of your salvation? Firstly a non believer would never worry about their salvation, wouldn't they? Who worries? Answer. A believer. In Christ we walk by faith not sight. Once you have accepted Christ as your savior and repented for your sins you are on a good path.
My opinion is that next you should be baptized in water and start walking your christian path. Of course we do not become sinless and sometimes we fall to the same mistakes. But God doesn't reject us but on the contrary He wants us to rise again and keep going. He wants us to finish our path in victory and He is there to help us do that providing His Grace to us. Anxiety and panic about our salvation are most often caused by satan who wants to steel our joy of salvation and put guilt in our minds. Ignore all that and keep going, God is with you.
