Please pray for me to get out of this slump I'm in. I actively share tracts for the Lord and do my best at soul winning. I translate gospel tracts also. Recently I had a really, really, rough week and sinned a couple times. I've asked the Lord to forgive me since then, but I'm having a tough time letting it go. I feel so full of shame, like I'm far from God and it's disrupting my prayer life and my life witnessing. I ask myself, how could God continue to use someone like me in the ministry to reach the lost? I know we all sin, and He is faithful to forgive us like it says in 1 John. But, I don't like letting the Lord down. It really hurts. Please pray I get out of this slump. Please pray He blesses me with courage and boldness to reach the Lost. Please pray He blesses my gospel tract translations. The feeling I have like a shame or like I'm not "good enough" to approach Him really sucks eggs. I've been saved for 7 years, and firmly trust the Lord Jesus, his shed blood, and what He did for me on the cross to pay for my sins.

Aside from this, My wife and I are wanting to have another baby so please pray for that. My health has been a problem also, so please pray for me. Please pray for my wife and my two children and our health. Thanks guys.

    Hi CNC

The word of God cuts both ways!

God's word both expose sin and offer correction, as well as to provide guidance and encouragement for righteous living.

    THAT NEVER ENDS!

While delivering God's word we are also a recipient of it!

We're all being convicted daily by the word one way or another.

    What matters is our response.

Believe in what you preach and pick yourself up and keep on preaching.

    God bless

When you're actively seeking to influence others for CHRIST you will become a target of the evil one. He focuses his attacks on those who are a threat to his kingdom in order to discourage and demoralize them.

I've been there MANY times, brother. A GUARANTEED antidote to the slump is to commit to reading and studying GOD's Word EVERY DAY regardless of how depressed or discouraged you feel. GOD's Word, as you know, is LIVING and POWERFUL and will not fail to revive your spirit. But it's a NON-NEGOTIABLE COMMITMENT.

Best time to do this is early in the A.M. (following the example of our Lord):

"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." ( Mark 1.35). Begin your day by getting your focus on GOD. He will bring you out of the slump.

    I Cor. 15:10__

Sometimes we find ourselves in a bad place. Keep moving forward toward the goal of us all.

To be "Acceptable in his sight"

These are the words of the Apostle Paul.

9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

    May God bless us all.
