I would like a prayer to be sent out to those that smoke and drink. May there blood be cleared of toxins!

    Dear Joshua J,

Certainly! Please pray for my sons who smoke marijuana and drink because their anxiety/depression is effectively treated at this time. Please pray that God will heal their brains, mind, emotions, addictions and all that is involved with their illness of mind. Pray for them to come back to faith in Jesus that they had growing up. I continue to wait prayerfully for the Father to bring these and other prodigals home to Him from the bad place they have ran from Him. May the Father draw them back to Him by His saving grace and "run" to meet them as the father did in the parable, guiding them back into His arms of love and grace.

I lift up prayer for all those who are turning to drugs and alcohol to self-medicate. especially those who have addictions and cannot help themselves to return to sobriety. I pray Father God, that You will prevent those who are not addicted yet from progressing into addiction and dependency. Father, so many people have walked into the trap of drug/alcohol abuse and need Your power and grace to turn back and reject drug abuse for good. Bring each abuser to faith in Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

    Hi Joshua

I agree with your prayer request. Many of us have addictions to this world that get in the way of serving God. Whether it be drinking, smoking or foul language to name a few. There are many more obsession that to hinder our relationship with God, also! I know I have my own hang ups.

    Be blessed Joshua
