Update: Was able to get my dad into facility yesterday although he called wanting to come home last night and unsuccessfully tried to leave a message today.
I thank everyone for the prayers; although there will be a struggle for some time. I am praying for wisdom and after consultation with a couple people there I am going to wait a couple more days before visiting him and perhaps bring my Aunt next week who lives not that far away; his only living relative in the area.
I got him a Bible today and by God's grace I located some classical music which contains a couple Tchaikovsky cassettes that he favors; some of the music I actually found discarded about 15 years ago or longer.
I will find out tomorrow about if I can put the house up for sale and (hopefully) get rid of some of dad's clutter; much of which is junked tools and electronics in the basement. He has a bunch of VCR's he can't use stacked in another room; etc. The Lord has blessed me with friends that can help me clean out and sell some stuff. I am praying for wisdom in attempting to help a brother if he finds favor staying in my house (he's an artist and needs some room); my plan is to go back at least next summer to Western PA and work as my school job is out then; and take a spring trip out there to talk to a Pastor and visit some old friends and hopefully do some evangelism around Spring Break. Once the house is sold I would probably get property out there; but also want to be open for other places or ministries wherever even overseas evangelism opportunities.
One of the topics I brought up in small group tonight was the balance between careful planning and relying on human wisdom. This was pertinent with getting my dad where he is today; and paperwork; etc. Dependance on the prayers of the saints and God's providential hand in allowing things to go forward in His timing takes both patience and hard work. Today a lady at small group brought up her dad's deathbed conversion.

Thanks for the update. Glad your dad is well-placed in this home.
You have a lot to consider now that this has come to pass. I continue to pray for you and your dad.
