hey gigi: its me-Donna. I got a phone call this day. the new doctor that took over Arthur and he talked to me. He stated-that Arthur's body is pretty torn up, that is because of Drugs and all the issues his put his body through. that he is the new doctor for him and from now it will be him, then he stated to me that there is no assistant living that will allow Arthur in. because his a very sick person. His body is giving out on him, but his mind is still alive. that they the doctor states his going to be on Hospice care. dang I busted out crying and yelling if his in hospice care, I immediately yelled DO NOT GIVE HIM MORPHINE to kill him off, I could not listen any further without crying and yelling. My son is dying. I got to the hospital and told them I am taking my son with me, if you guys are giving up on him bevause of his attitude, rudeness etc, I told them they are getting paid high wages to care for the sick and my son is sick. so I am risking my home now. if they find out his here, I am losing my home as well and him and I will both be homeless. I need Jesus to step in and show me there is life out there. I am losing my son. presently hard to accept right now. Help me Pray. I yelled at Arthur's dad and that is because I say his a hipocrite. He never answered his phone when Arthur would call, or I would call and then he says, I should of called and I yelled and told him, why didn't you call the hospital to find out. oh gigi. I am so wrong.
I am saddened to hear of the extent of Arthur's deterioration.
I continue to pray for him. God knows when his time will come. I pray that Arthur is blessed with salvation in Jesus soon.
Did the doctor give options for where and how Arthur can spend his hospice time?
Even though this is such a tough time full of anguish and motherly concern, I pray that God will give you wisdom and strength during this time.
God does meet people in His Word, so I encourage you to continue reading Scripture and also to read it out loud to Arthur.
God's will is what will be done in this situation and I pray that you will trust Him to do what is best. He does care for you and Arthur, knows what is best for Arthur, and draws near to those who are broken of body and of heart.
