I would like to ask for prayer. My wife and I, and our family here in town are all okay but we had a bad storm pass through our location last night (St. Louis area) and we (my wife and I) have some pretty extensive damage to the back of our house, broken windows from large hail and gusty winds along with the entire back exterior wall of our house damaged. There were a few tornadoes close by, so we spent most of the night in our basement. We filed an insurance claim this morning, so I am asking for prayer that this all goes smoothly and quick. Either way, the Lord is good and in control.

Sorry to get this news this morning brother Jesse. Will keep your situation (as also brothers S. Spencer & Ronald) in prayer, that the Lord would be merciful to you all & also to your friends/neighbors in the area. He can still bring blessing & help in the midst of disaster - keep leaning on Him.
Many prayers for you and yours and for the entire region in the U.S. that is under threat of severe tornados, flooding, winds, rain and overall destructive forces in this weather system. This has been a very destructive winter coast to coast as far as adverse weather incidents.
Praying for God's mercy to spare those in dangerous situation, bring rescue to the stranded and hurt, and to cut short this system so that the destruction will be lessened. Oh, Father, this is so widespread and there is so much need. Asking for You to provide assistance, response personnel, financial support for relief agencies, and urge people to turn out to help where needed. Asking that You do miracle after miracle, so that Your glory can be noticed by so many and cause the unsaved to call upon You.
Thanking You for the care you give to those who are called by Your name and who are among the saved. Keep them in this trying time.
Chris & GiGi, my dear brother and sister in Christ, thank you both so much for the prayers. Through all of this, no matter the outcome, the Lord is good. In my case, I have to wonder if maybe this is the Lord's way of telling me not to get too comfortable with the material things in this life. I give the Lord thanks even when hardship comes along because I believe He puts us through trials as a way of teaching us to trust in Him.

Hopefully the storm is not as nasty as the one that came through here. We've only lived here in the Midwest for two years now, so we're getting a taste of what the weather here is like, nothing like California where we moved from.
