    Explain being Born Again.
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Hi BB25.

In John 3:3 Jesus tells Nicodemus "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"

Being "born again" means being born from above. You're being born of God's Spirit.

This refers to a spiritual transformation.

When an individual acknowledges their sinfulness and shortcomings and understanding that they are inherently flawed, needing forgiveness and redemption, then come to Christ and recieve Christ as their savior they are Identified with Christ death and ressurection causing a rebirth of Christ Spirit.

    Romans 6:3.

    Romans 8:10-11.

Afterwards they experiences a new spiritual life that involves a change of heart, a commitment to follow Jesus, and a desire to live according to Christian principles PROVIDING THAT THEY TRULY BELIEVED AND RECEIVED CHRIST!

The Holy Spirit works in the individual's life, transforming their heart and renewing their spirit.

There will be fruit in a believers life that will reflect the rebirth.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.
