I have a question I am warring with it for a while now I have recently relocated my family so I could get sober from meth I am working now and taking care of my family like I have never I am doing it finally but for a brief time I did not have my family so I started drinking every day and now I drink everyday but still work and pray and im so grateful for God's love but am I wrong to still drink and watch preaching my heart is in turmoil

Idn how to put into words how can u explain that in your heart u know that GOD is real no matter what u do r not do how can you feel GOD is done with u when u are are so scared about saying the wrong thing but u fight everyday cause I lost my memory but the only person I could remember was my husband and GOD AND U FEEL like u are being punished but u are tring to do right I want to do right but my husband drinks but I feel like I'm not good enough and I just want to make GOD proud of me but I feel like he is done with me and every night I pray before I go to sleep I pray that every one knows he's real and that he is not done with me because ever since my grandma has died I'm losing my faith.

Dearest, When we go through different difficult things in our lives. As in sorrow, doesn't life work like a fairy tale. It creates real problems for all people and can do so for many years. But worst of all it is for those who recognize themselves as believers in Jesus Christ the Holy. And dont is in the light of Him. Are you with Him or not, is the very essence of your life. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your house. Amen. With Jesus we do not only have the world we see with our eyes. we live in a world that has a spiritual life. Maybe you have read Paul's letters where he writes Romans 8:31-39 . Eph 6:12 We must cleanse ourselves every day from all the evil and sins that so easily take hold of us. So that you may be overflowing with joy, loving, full of care for others, stop drinking and be a living ppl with Jesus hope etc. May you have patience, God simply goes out with His answer because there is still something left which must be ordered up in. In Him there is no shifting shadow. But in us there are many. Example everything that is unsettled with your fellow men must be settled. And here says the Lord, confess your sins to one another, and to God Himself. So we pray that God the Patience, will give His ear to your prayers. So that there be grace in all things. Sal 138

We thank in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ that He finds grace for those who have come to the edge of Your word. And we thank You Lord for Calvary, there You took our sin once for all. You Lord did it You were the sacrifice! So nowone can expect to receive anything from the Lord unless you are willing to give it all up lay it He demands your full attention. All idolatry must go in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

And He will replace the heart of stone with a new heart of flesh EZ 36:26-27 Life and Light, with Justice, Love and Joy, freedom be cleanced in Jesus Name.

So seek Him in the light, for in that light you will find Him.

I have had a similar experience and after 6 months of wrestling in prayers with God, He enabled my heart to be free after 25 years from Adderall dependence, He is able to set you free, by faith in Him alone. I have to be patient following my doctors tapering. Encourage you to pray without ceasing, and believe on Him, amd God can get all the glory

Thank u for that I'm still drinking actually im drinking right now getting ready for bed got work in the morning im so grateful to have a good job and my whole family now I love u all my brothers and sisters I can't wait till HE comes back im so lived and I know it I had a encounter with the kingdom of God several years ago and also a encounter with grace i also thankful for Grace please continue to pray for me please

Luke 17:20

Hi Derek.

You said you drink everyday but still work and pray and you're so grateful for God's love but your heart is in turmoil and you wants to know is it wrong to still drink and watch preaching.

Derek if you have received Christ and given your life to the Lord but yet is still in some sort of influence outside the Holyspirit perhaps that is the cause of the turmoil.

You said you have gotten off meth.and that is great but now you are on alcohol,.

It's not the substance that matters it is the filling and influence that matters.

In Ephesians 5:18 Paul says; "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Alcohol and other drugs can calm and relax the flesh and hinder the work of the Holyspirit in many ways. Besides that it hinders your witnessing.

I know it's hard Derek. I ministered to the homeless for years and I learned from them how difficult it is to turn from ANYTHING!

I don't believe anyone can turn from anything that has them in bondage whether it is substance abuse, fornication, gambling ect. unless God does it.

In our efforts we normally stop one influence and start up another and get further and further away from God.

Again, perhaps the uncomfortable feeling you have is of God.

Keep praying and believe that God will deliver you from anything that may hinder you.
