Bible Discussion Thread

I try my utmost best to walk the straight and narrow path. I try to do everything right according to the word, the bible. Yet bad things happen to me. I don't get the things I pray for. Its like I'm being punished for every bad persons actions and they live a happy and prosperous life. What is this glitch I'm in? As a man I operate and rely strongly upon logic. When will this season of no results stop?

Ricardo, There's a wall up between you and God that's hindering God's ability to do additional things of what He wants/needs to do in your life. The "wall" is your way of thinking. You stated, "As a man I operate and rely strongly upon logic". Logic is not a bad at all when applied correctly. It's impossible to rely strongly on logic when understanding the character of God. Of course, God Almighty is ALL powerful. God won't force Himself to operate in our lives "fully" until we "fully" surrender our all to Him...our mind, body, spirit, and soul. and there is absolutely NO limit to His power, we can't allow our point of view to get in the way of God wanting us to Him in our lives completely.
