Rev.11.6-7 "Days of their prophesy" (1 of 2)

"And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them." In order to set this in context we begin with Gen.1.2

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep." The first clause refers to the will of the Father, the world seen. The darkness and the light are both alike are to thee.'(Ps.139.12).The word of God frames the world so the verses below are made to appear. The Covenant between the Father and Son is set in motion. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Accordingly we have the generation of Jesus Christ on one part and on the other are generations over whom darkness settles. The beast mentioned in v.7 is the one who figures in Rev.ch.13. These generations n whom the true Light can work with, because darkness cannot grasp the testimony of Jesus Christ.(Rev.19.10)

Now for the prophesy: "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Rev.14.13,1) This is what the Covenant has promised and every heir of promise is entitled to it. So the slain Lamb motif and 144000 on mount Sion are memorial as the 24 elders and the Four beasts are before the throne.

These two witnesses are given power because the risen Christ assures his disciples,"All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth....: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."(Mt.28.18-20) All power in heaven and in earth." In short these two witnesss represent heave and earth.

11.12 "Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud. Because Jesus did before witnesses.

    Correction:

"The first clause refers to the will of the Father, the world seen."

    Please read as

"The first clause refers to the will of the Father, the world unseen".
