    (Revelation Part 40):

Revelation 10:4 - And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

So, John wasn't allowed to write down what the seven thunders said. This also tells us ways in which God works with us. He doesn't tell us everything. We're not ready for everything. Jesus told the disciples that there are many things I have to say to you, but you don't understand them now. He reveals things to us when we're ready for it. And here's God telling John to seal up that which you heard.

Revelation 10:11 - And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

So, he was saying okay, you were told not to write down, and now you're told to start prophesying again. We see this same book in Ezekiel Chapters 2 and 3. And as I previously mentioned, I believe this book is the title deed to the earth. But it is also the word of God.

And so, he's told to take it and eat it. The word of God is sweet to the taste. But the judgments are hard on the heart, and bitter to the belly.

On a side note, I think it is interesting also that it was always God's intention that God's people eat His word, that the word of God becomes our spiritual food, and that the word of God becomes part of us, that we speak not just from out of the book, but out of our heart.

We're told to devour it first, not just memorize it or learn it with your mind, but to receive it spiritually and devour it as the word of God. That's always the way it was intended to be. We've gotten too head-minded, too intellectual, and not spiritual in our approach to the things of Christ.

So, he said prophesy again, and he said you will do so in front of many people.

Jesse, Your write, "Just think if someone came knocking on your door and asked are you a believer in Christ, and you said yes, and they said come on out here, you're next to be put to death. What are you going to do? They do not love their lives even unto the death!"

Knock it off, Jesse. You speak of Jesus who came down from heaven . Without setting both world of the Spirit and of the physical body you are not logical and yet you seem to rely on being logical. It is a fallacy to compare 'some one' with Christ as you propose here.

The mighty angel was not flashing property deed to any one. Along comes S Spencer, and says, it is in the book of Ruth. So what does it prove? Check it with the text: "The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me."(Lev.25.23)

If you are arguing with logic set the the word of truth nd rightly divide it between those who want to debate. You are instead dividing truth.

    Okay, Bennymjke,

You quoted part of one of my posts and completely twisted it and accused me something I did not do. I have never, nor would I ever compare anyone with Christ. How you come to that conclusion is beyond me. I pray that no one else takes my words the same as you have. What you quoted from me has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus coming down from heaven. Perhaps if you read the entire post, you might be able to figure out what I was trying to present. You seem to be an intelligent individual, so I see no need to further clarify what I wrote. I see nothing amiss and nothing in my post that I should change. If you're the only one offended, then I've done well!

    Mr. Thomas,

From your picture I've seen online, you look like a nice person. And by the way, I do like the big bushy moustache. It looks good on you! However, they say that looks can be deceiving, and you have been rude not only to me, but also to others in this forum. No one here deserves to be belittled or torn down the way you have done, so maybe it's you who needs to "knock it off," not me. In a separate post from you, you told me that I need to learn to rightly divide the word of truth. Well, if that means to divide it the same way you do and post things that cannot be understood, as you do, then I say no thanks! I will stick with and be happy with what little the Lord gives me.

Regardless of what you might think, I have the same Spirit of Christ in me that you have in you, and it is His Spirit that leads me to treat others in this forum with kindness and respect, not with such rudeness that you have displayed with folks here.

Jesus says in Revelation 3:20," Behold, I have stood at the door and I am knocking. If anyone should hear My voice and should open the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me."

What a beautiful piece of scripture, a verse not to be confused with what you quoted me on!

You have said your piece, Jesse. That was quiet a revelation. In the name of Jesus let us possess our souls in quiet confidence. Amen.

    (Revelation Part 45):

Revelation 12:14 - And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle. The wings are the symbols for God giving ability to escape or to flee, as given to us in Daniel and Ezekiel. To her were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. That's a Hebraism taken from Daniel. Time is one, times is plural, so that's two. So, it is three total. And then a half-time, and that's 3-1/2 years, from the face of the serpent, who is of course Satan.

Revelation 12:15 - And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, again, symbolic language from the prophets. The flood waters out of the mouth are the armies in pursuit. A flood is an army. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

    (Revelation Part 44):

Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Through Christ's shed blood on the cross, He purchased us and died for our sins. We are overcomers because Christ overcame Satan at the cross. That's why John says in 1 John 4:4 that greater is He that is in you that he that is in the world, and that we have already overcome the spirit of antichrist.

So, they overcame him, in the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. And they loved not their lives unto death. Interesting! How far along do I love my life? Well, I'm willing to give it up right up to death. I mean, that might be a little too far.

In the book of Acts, as Paul was traveling towards Jerusalem, there were different prophecies given along the way that if Paul was going to go to Jerusalem, he was going to be persecuted and taken captive there.

The prophecies didn't say don't go. The prophecies just said you're going to face trouble. Because of those prophecies, the Christians tried to stop him from going, thinking that if God were to say that, it must mean that God is trying to stop him.

But Paul says to them "I don't count my life dear to myself. God has told me to go. If that's what awaits me, so be it!" It's interesting that he says I don't count my life dear to myself. We have a tendency to interpret things differently that happen to us.

Some say "a God of love wouldn't allow difficulty to happen in my life. I can't accept a God who would do that!" That's because they love their lives too much. What if God called us to sacrifice for Him? Some would say that's too far.

Just think if someone came knocking on your door and asked are you a believer in Christ, and you said yes, and they said come on out here, you're next to be put to death. What are you going to do? They do not love their lives even unto the death!

    Jesse,

Oh, that God would bring us to the point where we do not love our life or try to preserve it in the face of danger, persecution, or martyrdom. We really ought to pray that God will make us ready for such a time where we will be put to such a test so that we will willingly submit to death rather than deny or betray our Lord.

    Hello GiGi,

Yes, when Christ returns and takes back total possession of what has always belonged to Him, when Satan is no longer, when sin is no longer, the fullness of our redemption will then be realized and we will rejoice and praise Him throughout eternity.

As far as being made ready to face persecution, or even face being put to death for not denying our Lord, I like to believe that if we have Christ in us, we have already been made ready.

I have thought about this myself. What would I do if I were faced with losing my life if I refused to deny Christ? In the fleshly human reaction, I'd probably be scared to death. But I know that He lives in me and I have to trust in Him. I like to revert back to the training of the twelve apostles Jesus gave in Matthew 10:16-42.

Well, I am calling it a night. Have a great rest of your evening.

    God Bless!!!

    (Revelation Part 43):

Revelation 12:5 - And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

That's the Messiah in Psalm 2:8-9. And her child was caught up unto God. That's the ascension. And to His throne.

Revelation 12:6 - And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And the woman (The nation Israel) fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days, or 3-1/2 years. Many believe that this is the rock city of Petra that is already supplied with food out in the wilderness, so that when those who are sealed by God, the 144,000 especially, they will have a place to go.

Revelation 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And the great dragon was cast out. And now we find out who he is, that old serpent. He's called that in Genesis Chapter 3. Called the Devil, and the word Devil means slanderer. And Satan, HASATAN in Hebrew, it means adversary. It's also used for the prosecutor in a courtroom. That's why in Matthew Chapter 16, the Lord said to Peter "Get behind me Satan." He wasn't calling him Satan. He was calling him His adversary, the one who was opposing Him, HASATAN.

And so, the old serpent, called the Devil, he's the slanderer. And Satan, the adversary, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. This is the final stage. He lost his position before God. Right now, he stands before the throne accusing the brethren day and night. But then he will no longer have access to heaven. He will be cast out onto the earth, and he will be enraged.

    (Revelation Part 42):

Revelation 11:3 - And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses. These are two people that will be protected by God. And they will be testifying in the streets of Jerusalem for 3-1/2 years. And they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore, or 60 days, clothed in sackcloth, which is the clothing of mourning.

Revelation 11:4 - These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

That is a quotation taken from out of Zechariah Chapter 4 where there were two olive trees, two candlesticks, and it's making reference to these two witnesses that will be in Jerusalem.

Revelation 11:13 - And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Interesting that they gave glory to God, but it didn't say anything about submission.

Revelation 12:3 - And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And ten horns, again from Daniel, we know that that's authority. And seven crowns upon his heads. But why ten horns? Why not seven horns?

The book of Daniel, Chapters 7 through 12 gives us the detail that in the last days there will be ten nations in confederation with each other, known as the League of Nations, today. And three of those ten nations will be absorbed by the other seven.

When the antichrist does take over, there will be seven nations. But here it's representing the ten horns, the authority over the ten nations prior to that absorption of the three. So, we have complete intelligence, authority, and rulership, crowns upon his head.

    (Revelation Part 41):

Revelation 11:1 - And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:

The references are found in Ezekiel 40:3, 41:22, and Zechariah 2:1, but especially Ezekiel's prophesies. The measurement that he's asked to give is a representation of God evaluating the status of His people. In other words, it would be equivalent to us saying "Do you measure up?"

There was a reed given to me like a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise up, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. We're talking about here on the earth. The measurement means that God is evaluating.

Revelation 11:2 - But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

But the court which is without (outside) the temple, leave out. Now inside the temple is the court of the Jews. The court outside of the temple is the court of the Gentiles. Even if a Gentile wanted to proselyte and become a Jew, he still had to be in the outer court. He could not be in with the Jewish people themselves. There could not be a mixture.

What God is saying is measure everything except for the court outside. Leave it out. Measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months, 3-1/2 years. This is the Time of the Gentiles before it is returned back to God's people when Christ comes.
