Bible Discussion Thread

Growing up I learned science and Darwinism in school, and presented myself as an atheist. I left home after college and dove right into the bars, experimenting with drugs; my flesh ruled as I got farther toward the pit. Prostitution, violence, and addictions were common. In 2024 I had a nasal artery rupture and very nearly bled to death. I was in my second ER room, after two rides on the ambulance, when I was alone in my room, I felt myself fading; I was DNR, and the nurses emptied the room because the only thing they had left to try was lifesaving procedures. I was wide awake and coherent still, I was crying my eyes out; I prayed and called for the Lord and felt the room was void of Him.

Finally after calling for help and crying and yelling for Jesus to come, please, please. I saw a nurse in pink scrubs walk by looking in at me. I called to her, please, please help me. She came in to me and asked, what can I help you with? I don't remember much after that except a warmth and peace was radiating from this nurse, I was greatly comforted, and my fear was gone. Even later before emergency surgery, I still remained at peace and free from fear.

I had a dream while I dozed off; it was my second dream of being in Hell. Because I am a drug addict, my Hell is running after bits of marijuana, or tobacco, cigarettes, and they were always too small to light and smoke. The pill bottles are plentiful but nothing in them. The buildings are similar, but there are particulates in the air, there is a gray tone with no light. Nothing happy, no joy, no color. There is a massive fire off in the distance, you cant see the flame but the darker smoke above it.

To sum it up, I have received the Holy Spirit; I have been born again; I have experienced healing that is not human. I talk to Jesus all day and even in my dreams rebuke demons. I am assured that I have been eternally sealed and saved.

Even those who are broken, He is there and you should be sure that you are so valuable that He pulled you through all this so that you might know God, the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

I also know that in the Spirit one night, i did as you describe. And the Lord knows who He saves and from what. I know it is true. My "dream" was me down in a sewer somewhere in this world. I was in a deep sleep. I saw the sewer clearly, there were rags and bags lying everywhere. I didn't smell anything. There I got to help a little boy who was sick. And I felt such overwhelming love and desire to help this boy. I was allowed to lay hands on this boy, and he was healed! This was so real that when I woke up I wanted to go back. But I couldn't. And I knew that I was not at home in my bed. And in retrospect one wonders what happened, but knows that nothing is impossible for God. He sees who is willing! Also to believe in the Spirit in this way. In the Spirit we feel nothing. Only joy and happiness and care! Stay strong in the word of God, love u and many thanks again.
