There is too oreoccupation with the antichrist and the rapture and all that is coming upon the earth with various " winds of doctrine" blowing through the church when our focus must be kept n the soon return of the Lord .
For many are like rabbits caught in the headlights of a speeding car and not " looking for and hastening to the coming of the Lord .
Many people were talking about his first appearance but how many were actualy looking for it?
If the disciples had actualy believed the Lord when He said hecwouid rise again on the third day they wouod have all been waiting outside the tomb for Him.
As it was in their minds he was dead . The romans being masters at killing people they did not want around and in such a manner made such an impression that Mary did not recognise Him on that glorious morning .
For she was blinded by events and was still thinking of Him as dead .So this couid not be the Lord but the gardener
Given all that is going on in the world it is not the time to be distracted but use them to recognise the how close the Lord is .
Thus we shouid be " looking for and hastening to the coming of the Lord" For unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time" many at the time we're talking about the Messiah but relatively few were actually looking for Him icomparison.
Who saw His appearing .
And let us not be blinded by dust thrown up by the devil or blown about by " every wind of doctrine"
Elisha would have missed the boat if he had not kept his eye on Elijah and refused to leave His side .
Moses by faith "refused to be called the Son of Pharaoh's daughter "but rather by faith chose the better path ..
