I found this extremely interesting in Isaiah ch 66 v 22 For as the new heavens and new earth, which shall remain before me , Saith the LORD , so shall your seed and your name remain . V 23 And it shall come to pass , that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me , Saith the LORD .
( this is all absolutely future! And the Sabbath is still the day of worship! , it makes sense the LORD is eternal , so is his Day)
The more I contemplate this time in the Future the more it thrills my soul ! Imagine ALL flesh worshipping God on the Sabbath to Sabbath? For ever ! Awesome !
"And the Sabbath is still the day of worship! , it makes sense the LORD is eternal , so is his Day."
There shall be no night there. " And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it:"(Rev.21.23) The Light of the Lamb is for the new earth so nations saved 'walk in the light of it' The door is open but only whose names 'are written in the Lamb's book of life.' This is the testimony of ' I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you." (22.16)
What you are referring is with regards to the outer darkness where as shown in the last vision of Ezekiel carry references to new moon, " but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened."(Ezek,46.1) They are looking at at the wrong gate for the reason the gates of the holy city 'And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day.'(21.26)
The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days.
There is only one Covenant and Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of the Law.
"So is his Day' to quote you, it is the day given to him by a decree.(Ps.2.7)
Let's just keep the context of the New Heaven and earth , then it makes sense ! I'm sure Isaiah didn't get the whole picture since he was not actually there . A thing to remember about prophecy, I appreciate your references!
Those prophets were told only what they needed to hear and deliver. Jeremiah pleaded his youth but God would have none of it. "the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. |(Jer.1.9) Also a warning," Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them."1.17) Lest I confound thee'
