Ezra 8:17

And I sent them with commandement vnto Iddo the chiefe at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say vnto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring vnto vs ministers for the house of our God.

8:15 Of Levi - None who were simple Levites, and not the priests. And therefore the Levites mentioned, chap.#7:7|, by anticipation were not yet come to him.

8:18 By the good hand - If where ministers have been wanting, the vacancies are well supplied, let us ascribe it to the good hand of God, qualifying them for the service, inclining them to it, and opening a door for them.
