Visions are for one who can open the ears of hearing. Not the ears on the side of our head but the ears of our conscience (heart). "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear". When we do not open our heart with no preconceived ideas, thoughts, or answers we have decided on our own, we are closed to visions, we quench the Spirit.
We become like the house of Israel was when the Messiah was standing in front of them. "their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart"
A vision may not be some future thing, it may be a vision to change a part of our life, or our eyes opened to a deception that is being taught, our eyes opened to the true meaning of a scripture. The power of vision is our humbled heart open to the Spirit of truth and our willingness to follow the truth regardless of the price.

Philippians 2:13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:3-6.
So, to bring them to the full Truth & incorporation into the Body of Christ, they were then baptized, not according to John's baptism, but to Jesus' baptism, which was not merely identification of their sinful state, but releasing their sin on the One Who was able to bear it, forgive them, & make them new by the indwelling Spirit. Something John's baptism was never designed to do. So yes, the baptism 'formulae' can't be based on this verse ( Acts 19:5), as it only showed that they were now baptized in Jesus' Name & not to John, according to the meaning of John's baptism.
No, He was a man full of the Holy Ghost
as seen here in acts.
Acts 6:5. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, ( A MAN FULL OF FAITH AND OF THE HOLY GHOST, ) and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
There's nowhere in scripture where angels are filled with the Holy Spirit.
Maybe that notion is drawn from this verse.
Acts 6:15. And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel..
They saw his face AS IT HAD BEEN THE FACE OF AN ANGEL.
God bless
Seeing your question I guess led me to post these couple of verses that came to me. From another view point the Blessing we have of vision or "eyesight" is usually taken for granted. Though a blind person will have to live by all their other senses without "vision" and be disabled in some things.
Romans 8:24-25 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
As all we can normally see with our physical eyes is vanity. If this is the "vision" you were speaking of.
God Bless.
To answer your question lets get the context by taking these verses from verse 3 on through verse 9.
YOU'LL FIND YOUR ANSWER IN VERSE 9.
2 Peter 3:3-9. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying,
"WHERE IS THE PROMISE OF HIS COMING?"
FOR SINCE THE FATHERS FELL ASLEEP, ALL THINGS CONTINUE AS THEY WERE FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION."
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
( THAT ONE DAY IS WITH THE LORD ( AS ) A THOUSAND YEARS, AND A THOUSAND YEARS ( as ) ONE DAY. )
" You noticed it doesn't say a day " is " a thousand years?
VERSE 9-
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
( but is " LONGSUFFERING " to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. )
The Emphasis is on Gods patience and longsuffering,
For God to wait a thousand years
( prolonging judgment) is like waiting 1 day.
note.
A day like a thousand years would be a very long day!
A thousand years like a day would be a very short thousand years!
So a thousand years forward and a thousand years backwards would bring you to no time at all, THATS WHERE GOD RESIDES.
That's why it says one day is with "THE LORD" as a thousand years, NOT US.
I Hope that helps. GOD BLESS
For instance, the lab-made corona virus spreading was made worse by governor mandates. The #1 threat of getting a cold or flu virus is that you get a weakened immune system and get something else- like bacterial pneumonia. But it's not easy to get it, you have to actually inhale bacteria and how can someone actually do that? By having bacteria close to your nose and mouth. And why would anyone in their right mind keep bacteria close to their face and how would that even happen? By reusing a mask. That's right, the mask itself causes pneumonia. How many thousands of died because of foolishness?
Also locking people at home in a confined area with sick people also increased the spread, instead of allowing people to be outside in fresh air. Closing parks, trails, etc, all foolishness. Closing small businesses so they fail, while keeping big businesses open = foolishness. Stopping planned surgeries, visits, etc. How many people have died because they weren't allowed in a hospital, and how many committed suicide because of this. Then rewarding medical professionals with government funding if they call everything covid. So, all flu and pneumonia were called covid deaths, instead of what they were. So, they made more money, boosted the numbers, and the media loved it, since it pushed the narrative to scare everyone. Then an FDA approved HCQ drug safely used for 60+ years with 100% positive results of early use was demonized, which would have saved lives. Instead they banned it and pushed an experimental injection that have so far killed more than 4,000 people. This is also underreported. Foolish.
The interpretation of the 7 years, last week placed at the end times was what I was discussing. Where after the first 3.5 years of peace the antichrist does the abomination of desolation and causes sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and the great tribulation starts, taken from ( Daniel 9:27). Also used is, ( Matthew 24:15) and ( Mark 13:14) which combines (2 Thessalonian 2:4) as being in the middle of this 7-year interpretation using these Bible verses, which I feel is deceptive. That is what I meant, the abomination of desolation in this theory does not have anything to do with Revelation.
Babylon/Babel will be destroyed by the ten kingdoms/countries that hate the whore, who have never had power until the beast from the bottomless pit, gives them power as kings one hour with this beast. We do see in Rev. 11 the beast kills the two witnesses and that city is where our Lord was crucified and we know where that was. ( Revelation 11:8)
The destruction of this whore Babylon/Babel where ever it will be, will be destroyed close to the second coming of Jesus Christ. After it is destroyed it becomes the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird (fallen angels, and demon haven) "What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" at this time their time is up and into the lake they go. ( Revelation 19:11-21) "the supper of the great God"
If you believe in the rapture of the Church and this seven-year interpretation and all that is taught in it we may not agree. We need just to encourage each other in our faith in Jesus and our walk in the Spirit of truth.

No that's not in scripture .
Next time someone tells you something like that, ask them to show you in scripture!! And start you a reading program,
May I ask yoi question ?
Have this person ever talked to you about salvation?
Is so can you share with us the means for it? "Salvation ".
Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you. God bless.
:)
I don't believe so. The Bible says it took 6 days so I believe it took 6 days. Why should one verse 2 Peter 3:8 with a metaphorical statement be used to disregard the whole chapter of Genesis 1 with its specific detail?
If you read the rest of 2 Peter 3 you see the context was about God fulfilling his promises of a new heaven and new earth and when Jesus will come again like a thief in the night. I interpret it as these things will happen when they will happen and just because its not on our arbitrary expected time table does not mean God won't or hasn't fulfilled His promises perfectly.
I would just read what God says and ignore what man says. If you click on these or hover over them you'll see what each Bible verse says. It's clear to me what it says and means and is interesting how some others word hard to try to make it mean something else. 1 Peter 5:8
Matthew 7:14
Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
James 2:14-26 "...faith, if it hath not works, is dead..."
James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."
1 Peter 1:13 "...hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"

Does that answer your question?
2 Thessalonian 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
It could be today, therefore we walk in the Spirit, keep our heads up, and our eyes of faith on Jesus.
May your light be brighter than the sun.
