Can anyone provide April 6th 2020 verse of the day please?

I do believe in Jesus, so does just believing and trying to live right mean that I will go to heaven. Do I have to attend church and be baptized? If I have to be baptized, can a person who is also a believer baptize me or does it have to be a member of a church?

This of course, is a difficult call. On the one hand, as you say, we demonstrate our love to God and faith in the right outcome. On the other hand, unbelievers seeing you gathering together for worship, will consider you irresponsible and dangerous for meeting in this way. It would be the Church's determination keeping this in mind. However, if the laws of the land prohibit believers from meeting at all or in practising their faith for no other reason than the spirit of anti-christ being at work, then we should by means fulfil the God's Holy requirement on us and stand up to evil and face the consequences. Sadly, the Bible tells us that there will be a great falling away as a result.

We believe, according to the Word, that God is an Omniscient God; that He is All-Knowing. Otherwise, He wouldn't be God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things. In the case of Gen 27, Jacob supplanted his brother Esau by impersonating him and receiving the blessing of the first-born. Isaac was fooled by Jacob's trickery, Esau was broken and angry, but God, in His Wisdom, had a special plan for Jacob, who was later named Israel. God's Will & Purposes are never thwarted even if we sin and let Him down in our lives. Yes, we will suffer for our wrong, as Jacob did, but God's Plans are perfect and far-reaching and beyond the scope and imagination of our finite and fickle minds.

I think of what Christ went through nailed to a cross, for all of us sinners that if we believe in him, turn from our wicked ways, repent, and how could we not put our trust in Him, what he did for us, so we may live and not die, dont worry about this virus, keep your eyes on Him. I know be I here or be I there He's with me and I am with Him. I think one needs to grow up reading the KJV to more easily appreciate its content, as in my case. In fact, when we memorize Scriptures from the KJV, it's difficult to resort to any other translation. Maybe, if you read the KJV and used an Interlinear Bible alongside or Commentary, your study will be better and more richer.

1 John 4:4 begins with the testing of the spirits, as there are many that are in the world. The Spirit of God indwells every true born again believer, but other spirits can still have sway in believers' minds and lives. In the modern traditional understanding of 'pastoring', there were no women pastors in the Bible. However, in understanding the word, Pastor (as with apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers), these were all gifts given by the Holy Spirit to certain believers (according to the Churches' need) for its support and edification. Pastor = Shepherd; so in a sense, you could have both genders fulfilling that role today, the women though limited to and having a special ministry to other women and children. Women have always had an important role in the Church, however, it was always the Elders and Deacons (brothers) that were appointed to be leaders/supporters in the Church.

The Lord's Supper was instituted so that as a Church, we could come together to remember him. If we consider the Lord and the apostles in the upper room and also the new fledgling Church, the remembrance of His death was always in the company of others, as they partook of the common bread and cup. I don't believe a leader in the Church has to necessarily be the convener and officiator at the Lord's Table; any brother could officiate. The point was that believers who got together to worship the Lord, also took time during their fellowship meal to remember Jesus' sacrifice. This could be done at home, but as an individual? This would appear pointless & suggest to receive a special blessing.

The locusts eat the crops which cause famines. The covid-19 virus is one of the pestilence that kills people all around the world because people in China eat the beasts of the fields (rats and bats). There actually are simple... Asherah, or Ashtoreth, was the name of the chief female deity worshiped in ancient Syria, Phoenicia, and Canaan. The Phoenicians called her Astarte, the Assyrians worshiped her as Ishtar, and the Philistines had a temple of Asherah ( 1 Samuel 31:10).

Hence: Easter = Astarte

Personally, I think grounds for irreconcilable differences (as per Bible) is adultery (with either sex). and physical battery. I highly reccomend that you should seek Christian counciling first. Sometimes the couple can be reconciled to the marriage.
My personal thought is don't marry unbelievers! God forbid the Jews/Israelites to intermarry with other tribes. He had a good reason for saying that (idolatry).

New Testament Scripture, "If you love Me, keep my Commandments" ( John 14:15); in these types of discussions, in general, why aren't the two Great Commandments also mentioned since they are mentioned in the NT also? Getting tired, Are the 10 commandments part of the Mosaic Law and if so, then one must keep the whole law, true? If one lets God empower them to keep the two Great Commandments, will it cause them to obey the Ten Commandments also?

Can one take communion at home ,individually or with family/friends apart from formal church gathering presided over by the elder/presbyter/pastor ?

Re Mat 1:17....the genealogy...start with Abraham as 1, Isaac 2, etc, and since there were 3 batches of 14, that would make Jesus the 42nd...but continue with the count suggested above...and you will find that Jesus is 41!.....?
So there is a missing generation?
