a concubine was a woman who was not technically a wife, yet was available for the pleasure of a man and was treated similar to a wife. Websters 1828 dictionary CONCUBINE, noun Latin , to lie together, to lie down.
    1. A woman who cohabits with a man, without the authority of a legal marriage; a woman kept for lewd purposes; a kept mistress.

    2. A wife of inferior condition; a lawful wife, but not united to the man by the usual ceremonies, and of inferior condition. Such were Hagar and Keturah, the concubines of Abraham; and such concubines were allowed by the Roman laws.

    What is god saying
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Just how many women are in a concubine and all married to the same man.
I understand why, fore it was to populate the earth.

2 Kings 18:15 And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house. 2 Kings 18:16 At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.

2 Kings 18:14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Everyone says that we can do all things. But not everything is profitable for us to do. Whenever I read this verse, I always get the sense that I can do anything that is profitable for me. Jesus will give me the strength to do those things that strengthen me. Whether strengthening of my spirit, body or soul. The word used is which, not who.

Yes God loves you, a love that surpasses our understanding. God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind. God bless you. I encourage you to read your Bible on scripture of what you are going through and read and read and read again and keep praying about it, I can testify to this, God will help you but you have to go to him and admit that you need him and he is just to deliver you. Praying and God bless you.

Mick, I think I've already dealt with your accusation of me 'judging'. Please don't simply keep on making the same allegation - you need to read my emails again about spiritual DISCERNMENT, which we MUST have, as God Himself tells us. As to the Papacy 'fufilling prophecy' I strongly recommend you do a thorough study on Daniel & the Revelation because we are in the last remnant of time before Jesus returns, and the Papacy sure DOES fit all prophetic descriptions of her role. Specifically, she is the 1st beast of Rev. chapter 13. Once you understand that prophecy everything will become abundantly clear, I pray. Over and out ..

Camille Greetings, the coming kingdom of God when Christ returns in glory is likened to a woman in pain during childbirth. Then when the child is delivered the pain ceases and the woman is happy cause her child is born. She has Joy and forgets the former pain. at least that is how I see it and others might see different and be right.
John 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

I am also from the South. I was born in Ky. There were indeed Northern Baptists, they just do not seem to refer to themselves that way. So good question. They were a distinct group not affiliated with the southern baptists. I am not sure where or if the group exists today, but they existed in history. We studied a bit about them in Church history class around the time of the civil war.

Someone asked Jesus what was the most important commandment.
Matthew 22:36 - Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 - On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.

Find some youtube videos on Christian worship music and have it play in the background. Read the bible verses out loud to change the atmosphere around you. Keep confessing the Lordship/Sovereignty of Christ our aloud over all things on earth and heaven. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. Step out from the limitations on earth and soar with Christ on wings as eagles.

In following protocol & being invited into the Kingdom of God,gifts are given- words of knowledge, wisdom, discernment prophecy, tongues, revelation etc.Praying for truth, & guidance will bring vision. God will reveal where what is coming from as you put your trust in Him. Boldness takes over as you allow Christ to reign in you & His character begins to extinguish yours & the false programming satan wants you to live by.Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. As Christ lives in you satan's strongholds through his agents-psychics, witches, freemasons, nazi's etc will not be so strong anymore. You allow your faith muscles to be exercised through each attack/assault over your mind, body, soul.

What does Jesus mean when he tells his tells his disciples and Matthew 24 eight when he saysBefore he comes will be the beginning of birth pains what would be the hidden meeting about this
  • Anon - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 6 years ago
Of course the God of Abraham loves you. It's something the adversary would like you to disbelieve. Fear that brings torment is not of God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and leads to life. Perfect loves casts out all fear. God has not given us the spirit of bondage again to fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee. To get into Christ and access the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of His dear Son you have to follow protocol. Jesus said: You must be born again. The evangelists are there as door keepers and guides to enter in. Belief in Christ, submission to God, confession of sin etc

After 66 years I have come to the awareness of this command. I am not Jewish but I want to follow God commandments as instructed on Exodus 12:17 of the unleavened bread. I have eaten leavened bread this morning and I feel I have already violated the first thing God almighty instructed for me to do. What to do now? After 66 years and knowledge has passed me.. Lord please be merciful on my soul.

This woman was praising Mary saying blessed is the womb that bare you and the papes you have sucked thats Mary and she was truly blessed but Jesus is refering to another WOMAN when he said more blessed are them that hear my words and keeps them thats Humanity th WORLD,JESUS said the field was the world where that good seed wd be planted our hearts that good seed will be sown initiating a birth of Christ in US.He wants us all to be his MOTHER that what the new birth is Christ being formed in US. Who is my Mother them that hear my WORDS HIS SEEDS.The KINGDOM HAS TO COME VIA A BIRTH OF CHRIST IN US.thats y he always referes to himself as Son of MAN. Unless ya receive the kingdom as a lil CHILD.
  • Chris on Daniel 4:7 - 6 years ago
In Dan 4:7, there is no special or hidden meaning contained there. It is simply an account of Nebuchadnezzar & his quest to find the interpretation of his dream. His wise men couldn't help him so he called for Daniel, who gave him the meaning by God's help. Some groups tend to 'spiritualize' portions of the Word, that ought not to be done. E.g. the pebbles that David collected to be used in the slaying of Goliath: each pebble has a special meaning and significance. This, to me, is absurd and outrageous.

Romans: Romans: 10: v. 20, 21 Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, "I have been found by those who did not seek me." I have shown myself to those those who did not ask for me. But of Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.
Romans: 11: v. 1-21 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! I myself am an Israelite, a descendent of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not rejected whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? 3 "Lord they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars; I alone am left, and they are seeking my life." (Read on..)
