jc, to be sick is not a sin. These flesh bodies were created By God and came with an instruction manual of clean and unclean foods. Check Gen 1:11,12 the good vegetation, and Due 14:4-8, the clean and unclean meats. To eat the unclean will make you sick. It is a sin to your body and health. Other ailments, flues, viruses etc, are man made. Eat clean and live healthy. Bless you.

yes--believe, trust, and obey His commandants. God is long suffering so you should be also. As the song says "we are patiently waiting for Jesus to come". He will only forsake you if you forsake Him but He will always take you back through repentance. To remind Him of His promises is to know what His promises are. Talk to Him--He listens.

Frank, the only way to free yourself of sin is to pray to God honestly, truthfully, God will know if you are sincere and often. Repent and you will be forgiven, but you must have a change of heart also to not sin again. We all come short of the glory of God. We all have to repent and believe. You do your part and God will forgive and never forsake you. It's your choice, repent and see.

It's possible dogs could be a metaphor for disease filled criminals who roam the streets in packs looking to harm and terrorize others. Wild dogs still do this in some places today. I doubt it's talking about domestic pets like poodles.
