Only good overcomes evil. Evil as a response only makes more evil. We cannot be focused on the splinter in our neighbors eye because our focus should be on the Lord....mercy always overcomes judgement

    NO JASON.
ESAU DESPISED HIS BIRTH RIGHT. The Scriptures tell you that.
    Gen 25:34
"Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright".

    ITS RIGHT THERE.

And God ALREADY TOLD HER WHO was going to have the birthright. It was GODS plan. ESAU WAS ALREADY HATED AND SET FOR DESTRUCTION by GOD.

  • John on Exodus 3 - 7 years ago
Verse 14 hit me like a brick. I teach English as a foreign language and the very first words I teach to any beginner are the words I am for they are The building block of language awareness whereas here they are most definitely stating consciousness is divine. The Word is I am. In many languages that is a singular entity and as an idea it is our first in life. Amen.

The chapter reads like a modern news article in places.Fear of alien cultures overrunning the natives.Immigration leads to hard working ways and a strength of character that natives take for granted, however in the ancient theme of hospitality expulsion is dangerous to rites. However, is this an err by the Israelites for not leaving for their Canaan lands? They would have had to struggle to retake

The proud man attempting to hide his disdain for Prophecy and repentance says, GET SMART-- RECOGNIZE! ! But the graven images worshipped by the murderer are not crosses of Christ, nor are they GOD. For the cross of Christ is the salvation accomplished ONCE for ALL generations of the world. The Christ child, even the Son GOD raised again from the dead; teach true love, humility and severity of sin.

Psalms 35 is a very deep psalm it is a psalm of protection as well as a guide of what GOD can do for us with just the power of his word if we trust and believe in him, He will protect us against all of followers of satan.
  • Henry on Ephesians 6 - 7 years ago
Lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us. Everyone has a spiritual weakness which has to be worked in daily. That s why Jesus said to take up our cross daily. That s also why Paul said to crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Stand strong in these days. Recognize when God Blesses you. Praise His Holy Name. See the evilness try to take your Fathet from you. Recognize and fight back the world's ways. Take and bring the people of God near you. The others keep away. Stay close to your Father. Remember His words as you read your Bible. Remember the 10 Commandments. Live them. • John on Genesis 47 - 7 years ago
I found this story double edged really . It flies in the face when of Christ’s of bread and Christ’s message you of fear not for God will provide. Furthermore we see Pharoah and Joseph capitalize upon the unfortunate people who are suffering the famine. It reads as clever as comply and righteousness but it is unforgiving for the people of Egypt are displaced and in bondage; yet the priests are not

The God of hosts, is in control over all nations. A covenant was given to the people of Israel to follow and obey. This covenant is for all generations to come. It is written for us also, our generation. Verse 15, it declares, this covenant it is neither with you that I make only which standeth here today, but also with those who are not here today, which means us, the future generation.
