We can learn so much from this chapter if people would just open up their eyes and ears. As Jesus said, "you have eyes, but cannot see." "you have ears, yet you cannot hear." I watched The Sonlife Broadcast Network Sunday evening. Pastor Gabriel's message was taken from this text. It enveloped me as I watched him bring the sermon on Psalms 91. At the end of the sermon he encouraged everyone to read the entirety of this chapter in Psalms. His description of "shield and buckler" was spot on. He gave the full meaning to snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.

The events in the Bible occur on Jewish high and feast days. We have the Passover for his Crucifixion, he rose on the feast of Firstfruits which was the first day of the week after passover. He did not rise on Easter. In this day and age, it seems that there are so many things that people are afraid of. But in the Bible, it tells us for all our fears, to seek the Lord. Seek Him with a humble and open heart.
