Though the wicked study and copy much Scripture, only our Holy Father gives discernment to see and hear. For the wicked (in his desire to cause fear) would frame Scripture in ways that, if it were possible, would deceive the very elect. It is written, (And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.)

THE VISION (4) For in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

THE VISION (3) So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. I am your sign: The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged:

THE VISION (2) Take heed that no man deceive you. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. See ye not all these things? Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

THE VISION (1) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus said unto them, Seest thou these great buildings? For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

I was told Ps.38 was given to our congregation to read by our Bishop. I couldn't wait for these goodies. Then as I began to read this scriptures I began to see how I must humble myself and receive my deliverances through telling the truth and being honest about the problems I have in my life through my own sins. I love David's honesty. God is given me HOPE in truthfulness:)

Have you ever gave it a thought about Jesus coming to judge us? Think back on your mistakes. Now think about how many times you asked for your Father's forgiveness. How many times He was there for you. How many times you praised His name, by thanking Him from the bottom of your heart. And how many times you let Satan take over instead. Now, before it is too late-- get on your knees!! Praise Him!!!

Seeking the story in the Old Testament of the Authorized King James Version of 1611 when the Joshua or some of his "administration" made a contract with Canaanitish people in direct conflict of God's command and clear instruction to not enter into treaties with the peoples of Canaan. They were somewhere in there identified as Nethinim and became servants of the Children of Israel.

We must prove ourselves ready each day because we do not know when exactly the end of this system will come.
  • Daniel on Psalms 127 - 7 years ago
I love this psalm for reminding us that in addition to praying for ourselves it is important to pray for others also. Even those we aren't familiar with. Some face the struggle with evil and temptation all alone, and may have no one specifically praying for them. Let us include them in our prayers so that they are not alone in spirit.
  • John Purdie on John 1 - 7 years ago
Each time I read John, the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed to me, as it were, for the first time, and I see with spiritual eyes Behold "The Lamb of God, Who taketh away the sin of the world".
Also, that the Word of God, is new every morning. It is the Living Word. Genesis 1:1 tells us "In the beginning GOD" . 1 John 1"In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. "

If Jesus threw out the money changers from the temple what will he do to the men (and women) who made themselves millionaires preaching his Gospel?
  • Carl Harmeling on Matthew 24 - 7 years ago
For Phillip Hill- the kingdom of heaven that Jesus talked about is a metaphor for a spiritual life that lies within each person. This is eternal and will never pass away no matter what. The heavens that will pass away is that of the sun the moon and the stars. These will come to a final and permanent end. Don’t worry it is God’s good pleasure to give us his eternal and blessed ‘kingdom of heaven’.
  • Obbie Beal on John 7 - 7 years ago
37 ... Jesus stood and cried, saying, If 'any man thirst', let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
  • Vanessa on Genesis 6 - 7 years ago
he could have just let it all go but he chose to reseed the earth, God is great, the word shows us what he expects from us, and yet some still corrupt his word to make their sin justified , seek the Lord let him into your heart and let him guide your path, we are Blessed because of Christ taking our sins, cleansing us from Crimson, to snow white the word is truth God Bless, and Glory be to God
  • Vanessa on Genesis 6 - 7 years ago
once Adam and Eve ate from the tree of good and evil they were cast out of Eden there were 2 Cherubims and a flaming wall, Angels do not bare children, God created others as well after Adam and Eve that is obvious but they became so corrupted and Noah stayed true to God , he spared him, his wife, children and their wives . plus a male and female of every thing that lived to replenish the earth

  • Gay Amutuhaire on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
This chapter is often misinterpreted to mean that man can sin all he wants and still be assured of an everlasting life because Jesus Christ already paid for their sins!. In my opinion, this chapter means Christ died so we may be forgiven, we should live Christ-like lives to be able to see the heavens otherwise we are doomed unless we repent for the shortfalls

  • Gary Olsen on 2 Corinthians 12 - 7 years ago
Who knows what the third heaven of verse 2 is really about. Could it have something to do with the varying levels of faith of individuals. If Paul is our standard, how many of us could ever hope to achieve his level of faith. Or does it have to do with our different levels of understanding. How many of us could claim to understand as much as Paul did.
  • Verse 16 " Dumb Ass" Lolll but seriously I love the Bible on 2 Peter 2 - 7 years ago
