The goodness and mercy of God are here ascribed. He is a forgiving God and worthy of praise.
Thanks be to God for His unconditional love.

'Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.' this statement is very powerful,
the joy in sinning that takes us to death. anything that is sin is a stolen stuff, lets all of us reflect on bad things we enjoyed doing and now it has landed us in the difficult situation we are in now. lets come to Jesus for He loves us all, it doesn't matter what we've been through. shalom

Teresa: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ( John 14:6) In Matthew 19, the young rich man wasn't willing to give up everything to follow Jesus. Read Matthew 10:38, Romans 6:1-23, Romans 12:1,
1 Peter 4:1-11, 1 John 2:1-29, Matthew 5 (all of it) and if you doubt that mortals can live as Christ did, Philippians 4:13.
  • Levi on Judges 15 - 7 years ago
Wait... so God gives Samson the power to murder 1,030 people in this chapter and chapter 14 (somehow committing 1,000 of which by bludgeoning people with the skull of a donkey), then rewards him with water immediately after to stop him from dying of thirst? None of these people were even involved in the thing Samson is trying to "avenge", yet the God who commands "Thou shalt not kill" condones it

    Teresa
You cannot be saved unless you have been baptized The Holy Trinity is one with God.
This is what God requires us to do so that we
    Can become one with him.
You have Faith so take the next step to complete your relationship with the Lord.
My God Bless you and Keep you safe in his care.

I think that the devils believe in God and tremble. We must do more than just believe. Works are the fruits of the spirit. You will know them by their fruits. If you bare no fruits and only have belief in Jesus, God will cut your branch off the vine and burn you. As Christian we were grafted into the vine. If you bare no fruits you are toast.
  • Michael Platinum on Psalms 106 - 7 years ago
After Decades of spiritual warfare, God is opening my eyes to his will in which I had no faith to speak of. Pray for me as I struggle through the rubble and carry on as a true Christian Soldier.
    Thank You!

I think Jesus wept because he was sad because they did not believe. He told them that Lazurus was sleep.
  • Seth on Genesis 3 - 7 years ago
    The only thing I dont understand is;
When we were created we were given free will which set us above animals and angels etc.
Then because of that free will we disobeyed. Eating the fruit gave us knowledge of good and evil. But we are not on the same level as God, which is what the tree was meant to do. So what "gifts" did the tree give us, that wasnt already provided by free will??
  • Obbie Beal on Isaiah 61 - 7 years ago
Verse 1 teaches the desire of GOD plus POWER Of GOD; and I am guilty of focusing on things of men that rust away or moths eat it / the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, pride of life.
  • Ronke on Matthew 10 - 7 years ago
Verse 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
For me, this verse is food for thought for all...
  • Obbie Beal on Isaiah 59 - 7 years ago
Verse 1 God inform us of HIS POWER. Verse 2-15 the warning of specific sins, plus the result of each sins. Verse 15-21, being displeased with our sins GOD do two things; HE enact HIS plan for punishment and provide HIS PLAN Of Redemption; GOD'S Redemption also carries a Blessing. WOW! WOW! WOW! Thank GOD for HIS LOVE that offer sinners forgiveness of sin, plus SALVATION through the BLOOD OF JESUS.
  • ULO FAVOUR on Psalms 51 - 7 years ago
Let's all take note of what God desires most: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. He hates arrogance, He hates pride, always acknowledge your low estate, always make yourself available as His vessel for the Lord to use to the glory of His Name.
  • Katherine on Psalms 51 - 7 years ago
Theresa God did not give us the spirit of fear, shake that devil off and assemble yourself among other. If you afraid to be around people on earth, what about heaven. The place were we all will be praising god together.”
  • ULO FAVOUR on Psalms 51 - 7 years ago
Unholy life can take someone from the presence of God, the writer of the above scripture desires living in continuous holiness and yearns for constant ministration of the Holy Spirit.
  • Ren on Isaiah 11 - 7 years ago
I went back to my old Bible from the 50's it says same thing as this one. You must be thinking of a different place in here.
  • Andy on Psalms 51 - 7 years ago
Teresa, baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. First confess the fact that without Jesus you cannot make it to heaven and then trust in what He did on the cross. salvation is about trusting the finished work of Jesus on the cross. After you trust Jesus pray for God t guide you He will send someone to you to help you. I will be praying for you and God bless you

To Teresa, by reading your bible every day shows you're Truly seeking GOD. Just a suggestion don't allow people to distract you.
Attend church and praying as you search for a church home is most important. Get connected to a church family and a Pastor ask God to show you the way and he will. Believe that you'll found the right Pastor and the right church.
    Praying🙏🙏🙏 for you.
    Love💕💕💕
