  • Janet on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
When I read the 23rd Psalm it make me feel so safe knowing that God is with me he did not leave me. He said that he will never leave us or for sake us. And through Psalms 23rd let me know that we have the confident And comfort to know that I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. And that the devil and his demons cannot touch me. Because God said the wrap and a staff should Comfort us.

his fear of being killed by other people scares him so God puts a mark on his forehead as a sign for no one to harm him. That alone testifies to me that God made one group of people and then made Adam and Eve later in the Garden of Eden to have a special bond or personal relationship with them. It is alternately why Satan became jealous of our relationship with God.
  • Connie on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
I believe that God made man and woman to do just what He said to rule the earth, multiply in numbers and so forth. Then he made the Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve. Those were his chosen if you will... like the Isrealites are his chosen even though He loves us all. My reason for believing this further is because after Cain kills Able and is sent out away from God and all he knows his fear of being

  • Irene123 on Psalms 35 - 9 years ago
To Mark Verrell - King David lived in the O.T. dispensation. God dealt differently with sin then - because Jesus had not yet been manifested and brought GRACE. Thee was faith - Noah, Abraham, Ruth, Rahab, etc. (read Heb. ch. 11). This is ALL God's business, not ours; now, in the N.T. dispensation , we are to have faith, which leads to His Grace.
  • Irene123 on Romans 2 - 9 years ago
To LU2677 - yes, the "hearers only" are the ones take Rom.10:13 and leave it at that. They "confess with their mouths" and go no farther. So why did Peter bother preaching Acts 2:38 after the people asked, "What shall we do?"
  • Irene123 on Romans 1 - 9 years ago
AMEN and again - AMEN!!! Tony Searight. Thank-you, His people care about the youth!!
  • Irene123 on Acts 28 - 9 years ago
To Jessica on v. 3 - It was just an ordinary snake, albeit very poisonous, that God used to get the attention of the island people so Paul could witness to them of His God, about His healing of bodies and souls. Acts 2:38
  • Irene123 on Acts 26 - 9 years ago
To Joe: Festus, Felix and Agrippa were being witnessed to by God (Jesus) thru Paul. You can see this in Agrippa, v. 28. All 3 heard Paul, but Felix 'n Festus made no comment - so we don't know if they felt the same. Verse makes me sad, every time I read it. So-o-o close ............
  • Irene123 on Acts 25 - 9 years ago
TO Terry for v. 12 - Try this: pray about it. It could be from God - OR 0 it could be from satan, whom God will allow to do things - Job 1:8. satan HAS to ask God for permission before he can do anything. and if he does do something- it's 'cause God let him. Bottom line: talk to God about it.
  • Irene123 on Acts 23 - 9 years ago
To Ade - Paul was "a new creature in Christ". Read the WHOLE book of Acts.
  • Irene123 on Acts 18 - 9 years ago
    v. 8 - I love Crispus; the chief ruler of the synagogue. Caiaphus crucified Jesus; he was a Jew too. and they both lived at the same time. amazing.....
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
To Corine Duval - "how do we know ............."? You're questioning God, Corine. Remember Zacharias in Lk.1:18? He asked a question, which showed his doubt, instead of JUST believing God. Remember, Zach was a Levitical Priest, had been for years, was trained from childhood in the O.T. scriptures. And he questioned God. He should have known better. a God that cannot lie; just BELIEVE.
  • Irene123 on Acts 16 - 9 years ago
T BSP on v. 15 - Lydia loved God, even before Paul
  • Irene123 on Acts 15 - 9 years ago
Did anyone notice v.2? Here's the Biblical record of the very 1st church council. Which proves the church began in Acts 2 and not in Matthew as some denominations say.

I'm a firm believer, in the word, and I know those sinners, will reap, what they've sown. I've seen many things in life, and learning much, but that situation their, I hadn't seen, my sister said, they got the right one, I'm quick to forgive and slow to anger, was created in his image, for his Glory! Not the devil, God said vengeance is his, god bless them, they ignorant, hateful rude rebellious.
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
Mike, I couldn't understand what Cheryl said. You are right; Jesus was resurrected with an immortal body.
Since it is (now) immortal - He, bodily, is in Heaven awaiting His own return for His church, many more others to be left behind, i.e. the RAPTURE.
  • Irene123 on Acts 13 - 9 years ago
To Paul on witnessing - you put me to shame; thank-you; I know when God's talking to me and He just did - thru you.
  • Joyce evangelist Holt on Ezekiel 2 - 9 years ago
The pastor spoke on this today, I needed to hear it, I'm in a apartment building, an the tenants in unit above mine, are very rebellious, it's been a year, that they've done very mean an evil vain vindictive things towards me, I pray, praise, give thanks, and been studying the word of god for twenty-two years, never seen nothing like it, it's just horrible and sad, I live alone, but god is with me.
  • Irene123 on Acts 12 - 9 years ago
To Albert on easter - first off, since you don't go along with easter - why capitalize and make it - IMPORTANT .....? 2nd off - I'm with you on this. 3rd off - our church calls it Resurrection Sunday, nor do we have egg hunts.
  • Goody Bellamy on Acts 7 - 9 years ago
Steven preached Christ. So many modern day preachers simply do not.
  • Irene123 on Acts 1 - 9 years ago
To Nisa n Acts - Yes, Acts is an 'extension', but more than that - it is the very beginning of the Church of the Lord JESUS Christ. His last instructions to His disciples were chapt. 1, then Peter preached the very 1st sermon in ch.2. In Acts 2:38 Peter gave, in this sermon, the one and only way we are to be saved. Notice v.37 - "what shall we do"? V. 38 was Peter's answer, from God.

I was "Born again" at a Billy Graham gospel convention in London 1966. It is like yesterday to me. I can assure every reader that God is faithful through Jesus and His Holy Spirit. The many times I have let Him down I know He has never loosened His loving grip on me. Praise His Name!
