  • Felicia on Colossians 2 - 9 years ago
    Verse 16
Christ is all we need for salvation. We
don't need to be on a particular diet or observe some kind of a religious exercise. Neither do we have to seek God by means of other religious cults or unbiblical philosophies. Christ alone holds the answers to true meaning of life. Because Christ is Life, He is the unique source of knowledge and power for the Christian life.

I love your comments and usually I make a comment and then check all comments after previous comments are 3 pages or so back and it seems that there is a lot to this and a lot of questions etc. but don't ever stress over it as we can take all things by faith alone and still live in the image of God as much as possible and as much as we know according to Jesus and what He taught I think.?? ??

If we truly learn to fully trust God in His word we will be able to do amazing things with Him as our guide.
In all we do lets remember it's for God to be glorified and magnified.

What we cannot see God doing for us is more than what He reveals to us. My father is working always Jesus said. God is doing everything new and when He is done we shall marvel being it in our lives or in the church or in the world; He will do it very well. We believe Him for His word. And we rejoice greatly in the Lord our God. He is our strength and our salvation.

I hope everyone here knows the 10 commandments in which we are to obey! Jesus said in John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." We are to obey 1, 2, 3, 4 (keeping the Sabbath; one most often forgotten), 5 (also forgotten- to obey your parents), 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10!! Read them in Exodus chapter 20! "God loves you so much that he gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in him

Psalm 23 has been a comfort for me during the worst of times and the best of times. When I read this Psalm, no matter my situation, I find relief, joy and assurance everytime I read it. Truly, the Lord is my Shepherd. Amen!
  • BSP on Psalms 106 - 9 years ago
In verse 7 it is not that the Israelites did not know that God was all powerful and that He performed many miracles, it is the fact that they failed to appreciate it all.
  • BSP on Psalms 103 - 9 years ago
As verse 10 shows, God is so merciful that He has not even dealt with us according to what we deserve for our sins.
  • Karl on Genesis 24 - 9 years ago
Does anybody really read scripture anymore? In Exodus 24:10, Moses and 70 elders "saw" GOD, where did the same experience of the prophets come from - was their "vision" corrupted by their own perspectives or intentionally enhanced to suit their audience? Does anyone read past the words on the page anymore - or just reflexively quote verse without seeking the deeper meaning? Can you see beyond?

  • BSP on Psalms 89 - 9 years ago
In verse 27 since David was not a firstborn son it seems that Jehovah God was referring prophetically to the one foreshadowed by David, Jesus Christ.
  • Renee Allen on Philemon 1 - 9 years ago
Onesimus was Philemon's slave who had run away. Philemon 1:10-14. If you're not sure of the meaning ask GOD to give you wisdom knowledge and understanding of His word! He will. We receive not because we ask not! Have a blessed day! GODS CHILD.
  • BSP on Judges 2 - 9 years ago
The Israelites did not listen to God and so in verse 3 they had to suffer the consequences of their actions. Anyone who disobeys God will eventually have to face the bad consequences of their actions.

I don't understand. How is it that everyone agrees that we should keep all the Commandments
and yet, make excuses, in my opinion, about the 7th day? "Remember the 7th day to keep it holy." On my calendar the 7th day is Saturday. Please explain how this one commandment is
broken? When were the generations given permission, by our Father in heaven, to change this
    commandment? Please help!

Jim there is going to be a lot of sad faces coming out of those 1 world churches after worshipping the false messiah at the 7th trump a shamed and not able to look in the face of the true Christ but they will say but Lord we preached in your name and we healed in your name and Christ will say, I don't know you. Not excepted at the wedding because they didn't seek real truth thinking just believe.
