To be bold is not what we think : To be bold is to be strong in God's word in the face of adversity : Not to be bold in the face of people that are our apponet : But to do as God leads , If we are in unbelief we will flee as the wicked !!

I know that I'm a year later here but to answer Carl, but here goes... Peleg was born in the time of genesis between Noah and Abraham... the division spoken of is when God confounded the people's language and scattered them abroad so that they would leave off from building the tower of babel

They may say there's no help for you. But if you got him you ain't got to worry about them. Even though they may tear you down he will pick you up. Just call on the Lord in heaven, because that's where help is , your hope is and your home is.

"Thou shall have no other Gods before me."
He stands before the council of those MINOR GODS and judges them.
Yes we can be as, jesus told the Pharases the scripture that says we each are or by free will a part of GOD
Ti's hatd to grasp the thought that there are other gods and those who preach today do not want to breach that topic.

  • David crawford on Jude 1 - 9 years ago
a book of divine warnings against falling away from the faith. very sobering. we have to stay in the love of god or face divine judgement.
  • Robert on Revelation 17 - 9 years ago
Revelation 17:8 says that 'the beast was', which means that he was alive, 'and is not', which means that he died, 'and yet is', which doesn't mean that he was raised from the dead, but rather that his activity is alive through his worshippers, and that his writing are still in existence. So, we have to look into history to know who he was, and realize that he is not actually alive today.
  • Robert on 1 Samuel 28 - 9 years ago
The whole point had been missed! It was not Samuel, only perceived by Saul to be him. It was a familiar spirit (or demon) that had been raised up by the conjuring of the Witch of Endor. It could not be Samuel because he was just a mortal man that had died, and the familiar spirit was only impersonating him.
  • Carolyn Taylor on Hosea 1 - 9 years ago
Hosea shows the love a husband should have for his wife and the love a wife should have for her husband. The forgiving heart and loving spirit. If we all have these two attributes in ALL marriages, we will have less divorces, especially in the church.

  • Ann on Exodus 31 - 9 years ago
The Sabbath is Saturday, the last day of the week of the Jewish calendar, and begins on Friday at sundown and goes until Saturday at sundown. The worship on Sunday began as a pagan day of worship of the sun god-Baal. The Roman church picked Sun-Day as the day of worship to appeal to what the pagans were already doing on the day set aside to worship the sun-Baal.
  • June Mitchell on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
I love this Psalmist! It was used at my father's funeral. I have been reading it off and on for over 20 years.
I find comfort in reading it know that if I stay/ dwell with Jesus, he will protect me from all hurt, harm and danger! He has promised to be our refuge and strength. Not only that, but as I near my 65th bday, I love he promises us that he will satisfy us with Long life!
    Thank you Jesus
