Susan and Cheryl, Don't waste time trying to convince someone who is only trying to drag you down into arguing. The Lord always knew how to answer those who opposed and contradicted him, who sought to trap him in something he said. When they repent and are converted, and cease their hostility to faith in Jesus' name, "knowledge is easy to him that understands;" and their empty arguing will stop.

The sons of God were the descendants of Seth, those who had knowledge of the Word of God, but forsook the faith; their apostasy was the cause for the whole world's destruction; like today! The Lord said David was a man after His own heart; and He wants all of His sons and daughters to be after His own heart, in truth. That we were made in His own image and likeness has first to do with our character being like our Father in heaven. This is what Jesus came into the world to restore to men. David was anointed king of Israel for what kind of man God saw him to be.

It is an important truth, many are not willing to understand; how that JESUS told many, after they were healed, Not to say anything to anyone; but they disobeyed and went out anyway, telling things to people they shouldn't have. Is there not a reason why the Lord hides himself from those who refuse to repent? "Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time." Amos 5:13

The "Times of the Gentiles" happened because the house of Israel has never been truly converted, nor had "such a heart in them" worthy of the LORD their God. The throne of David was taken away "until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled;" and at the coming of Christ shall be restored, both over Israel and the nations. Why don't Americans and Europeans see their own sin and judgment in the Word?

The parable of the trees spoken by Jotham, was the pronouncing that God would certainly repay the wicked for their wickedness. Notwithstanding, the ungodly are given days to either repent or fill up their end. This story reads like any of a million stories from the News today: ungodly and wicked men continuing in their evil ways, not knowing that God is ordering all things, and their final demise.

I heard once that the 4 Gospels are like a car on display and the acts of the Apostles is driving that car and the epistles is like disassembling that car to know how it works . acts 6 show a young church growing and learning how to operate as a living breathing organism one that get it directions from it's head (Jesus) which direction travel through it's spinal cord (the Bible) to every body part

I have spent all of my life in Church, I've been a member of different denominations, and even nondenominational.
I have yet to find a Church that is focused on the will of God. Most of the Churches are focused on money, celebrating days, Womens day, Brotherhood Sunday, Youth Sunday, Usher Sunday and Pastors Anniversary and no search for the will of God. My heart is broken.

The Gospel of God cometh only from God, our Father which art in heaven.
