We must guard our figurative heart since our thoughts, feelings, and motivations come out of the figurative heart. Guarding our heart can keep us from committing bad actions and saying bad things.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Genesis is an awesome book, it set the stage for the remaining chpt. Did you notice in the 1st chpt GOD never said he made water. spirit move on the face of the deep. Which to me that mean water so earth came out of The water so when he created earth he must have created it in the waters and what about the water above the firmament where is it at ( u got its the sky that covers the whole universe)

To Janet and Ken, and whoever else it may apply to; The rapture is not theory, or man's idea; the Holy Spirit spoke of it many times throughout the Bible. I will be happy to give you some of those scriptures, when there's a genuine interest to know if these things are so. The fallacy however, as I see it, is in the belief that it will be before the actual Day of the Lord, and the coming of Christ.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word is God .
  • Ernesto Diaz on Proverbs 26 - 10 years ago
One thing says the market owner but another says the butcher. God says one thing but we interpret another. Please do not compare a human being to a dog. We are to live for ever in Jesus dogs live and then die to never come back to life.

So who was this Jehovah in Gen18 if no one has seen God before (Joh1:18)? Clearly it was Jesus, because He veiled His Divinity that He might be with them. If God the Father came to Earth - it would be destroyed, so God 'The Son' made into a man came instead :-) Also, the title 'Son of God' is applicable only AFTER Jesus was made into a man and had to be sustained by God to survive, like us :-)

  • BSP on Proverbs 28 - 10 years ago
The one who turns away from listening to God but then tries to offer a prayer to God is something detestable to Him as verse 9 shows.
  • BSP on Proverbs 26 - 10 years ago
A dog going back to its vomit is something disgusting and we can't imagine how they could even do that. Fools returning to their stupidity are likened to these dogs.

Verse 7. The believer. This first death that all of us die is Temporary. Body=flesh
  • Light Kongomanyi on 1 Corinthians 1 - 10 years ago
Christ Jesus is my life and the length of my day. I am nothing without Him. I love the Lord Jesus passionately; and I am unable to comprehend how any human can live without Him. I thank my God(Christ Jesus) for living His throne in heaven just for me. He died that I might live. What an amazing love of God that He counted a wretched sinner like to be His chosen generation; a nation set on a high.

  • Shevette mcgee on Psalms 91 - 10 years ago
I feel that psalms91 sends a strong message, that I understand, although in this time of days that I suffer, I will have to try hard to be more obedience to its message therefore I ask of God to give me the strength I need, and teach me how to control my anger and be more obedience to his will in the name of heavenly father and Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Norm on Isaiah 66 - 10 years ago
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
  • Norm on 1 Corinthians 9 - 10 years ago
The gospel of God cometh only from God, our Father which art in heaven. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: Father, the hour is come glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. The mercy of man is toward his neighbour but the mercy of the Lord is upon all flesh: he reproveth, and nurtureth, and teacheth and bringeth again, as a shepherd his flock. Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
  • Norm on 1 Corinthians 9 - 10 years ago
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. For God made not death: neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
