This came to me this morning from a friend and it was much needed. As wrestling with medical issues keep reminding me that I am a human and he's in control and I've got to learn to follow his words.

If it had not been for the Lord on our side where would we be. He keeps our enemies away and gives us sunshine on cloudy days. Grateful his mercy covers me at all times. I lift my soul to a loving and caring God.

I am new to real bible study. I was raised a Catholic but dropped out in high school. Under Catholicism in my embryonic years having Mortal sins was a road to Hell if u did not confess. So although I still pray I am not a church goer and feel that I am doomed because divorce ended my marriage. Seeing worldly events develope I am scared to death for all, esp. my family. How do I even start!!!

This is a beautiful word from God I.it's very encouraging and it makes me feel like I am not on my own.it also brings light to the fact that God is still in charge. At work today I experienced a great injustice a friend of mine and co worker was fired because of a lie that was told on him he didn't even get to defend himself against it.they didn't even take into sconsideration that he had been working here 15 years! They just took the word of the person that told the lie on him.

Praise the Lord Jesus I enjoyed the word and the comments.

In reading all these in the O.T. remember the Israelites were MONOTHEISTIC. Jesus was a Jew; His message was to His people. Had He been a 2nd person in the trinity - then God made His people believe a lie in the O.T.

One of my very favorite Psalms,I try to read it before I go to sleep at nights, I found it to be reassuring that GOD is always around to protect his own.

to Irene123 Yes, one only has to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and died for all your sin. Repentance comes with the indwelling and filling of the Holy Spirit. He convicts you of the sin that separates you from Jesus and once as a believer ( born again - saved) He convicts the believer of judgement at the judgement seat of Christ. Not eternal judgement but judgement unto reward.

We should always be grateful for what God has done for us. also be content for what God has blessed us with and seek not for what our flesh desires. When we stop reading the word of God and praying, craving of sin tends to increase in us, but when we eat the word of God we feed our spirit and we are able to overcome temptations.

vs 5 "today I have begotten thee" means the firstborn. And as the firstborn son He had more of an inheritance. This is great news for those who trust in Jesus for their justification and sanctification. They will rule and reign with him in the millennial kingdom.

To Amber - thank-you for replying. I thank Jesus He was able to use me. It was such a 'simple' thing he gave me for you - but such a POWERFUL one!!

We are loved by the Holy God who died for us. It is commanded of us to love our God with all our heart soul and mind and also to love all others with this love. We are to walk in the fruits of the spirit not in the flesh this is key to love.

we are supposed to be the temple of God. after we accept Christ as our personal savior we become His temple, or dwelling place, tha Holy spirit also dwells in us and is there to teach and make the things of God clear to us. The word of God/ the bible, is written for us and the Holy spirit will help us under stand Gods word.

God is Spirit : and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth : My spirit and God's Spirit communing together : Called fellowship !!!
