God imparted his faith to Daniel to stand still and know that He is God. Daniel received the gift of Faith as He knows that God has appointed time to eat the meat and drink wine that comes from God and not from a man. Sharon, When I have trouble understanding a passage I click on the commentary below the page and usually get clarification from Matthew Henry. He seems to have had an understanding of many confusing things. Isaiah foretold this to the people of Moab (the ones who sacrificed their infants to Molech where Ruth lived). It happened 3yrs later. It could possibly be a prophecy for future events too.

It truly is the church epistle's that were written to all of us. Are all of us on the same page in the rightly divided Word of Truth ? I think not ! I believe that Adam and Eve's being tempted in the Garden of Eden is a perfect example of Satan tempting people through their minds.

I feel and believe that as a Christian if Satan can tempt Adam and Eve to step outside the will of God. He can also get people to do the same. The only way to avoid this temptation is to stay in the word of God.

Sin separates us from God, and how can we hear that still soft voice of God if we are living in sin? God's word says that his sheep hear his voice, and if we are separated from God we can't hear him. God is talking to us every day, minute and second and we are missing all of that when we live in sin. We must be about God's business and not our business. Those that do the will of God are his family
