Man was formed from the dust of the earth and to dust will return. It's a waste of time to be caught up in our own vanity. Thank God there's a time and season for everything. My prayer is that whatever season I'm in to be thankful.

How beautiful and how simple these words are and what a great comfort they are in this time of tribulation and where every day it seems there is another world crisis or mass killing I know that I can find peace in Jesus Christ and I have Christ in me and the father is in me according to God's word

The Spirit is making intercession for me daily. Within myself I don't always know what I need or even should ask for. So search my heart Holy Spirit. I am persuaded that nothing shall pull me away (separate) from the love of God. Though the storms may be raging in my life I'm determined to hold to God's unchanging hand.

I think John came to inform us about Jesus Christ and what He meant to us and who He is.Looking at John 1vs 1 which states that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.Meaning to say that every word of God we speak it can be prophecy,or praying for those that are not well we will be speaking God in that individuals life.We will be bringing light in that persons life.Furthermore, if you look at John1:14 it tasks about the word becoming flesh.Which word? That word which was mentioned in the book of John 1:2 that the word was Godd. As we speak the word, we pray it becomes flesh in us it is not dead but alive and it is going to accomplish what I will be sending it fourth to do.Likensure when God saI'd let the light and there was light.Wooh this is powerfull. when I got saved ( I was catholic ) so I went to confession and I told the Priest in confession what had happened to me cause I was a changed soul!! I told Him about these very verses !! And I'll be !! He quit the priesthood to really serve God in the right and proper way and His last sermon as a priest was to tell the truth about JESUS and to tell us he was leaving and dusting his shoes off !!

I love this chapter in the bible...I try to pray this prayer everyday for our Lord to place on me the full body armour or Christ that I may be able to ward off evil. Without Jesus we are nothing in ourselves.

I am thankful for this psalm of reassurance in Jesus and his ability which enables us to reverence and abide in him and him alone. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy towards us. Amen
