When Jesus was teaching inside the church people who believe in him they are listening to his words. In our life believing Jesus and to have FAITH IN HIM IS ONLY BY HEARING THE WORD IF GOD. Without hearing the word if God its impossible to please him. THE FEAR IF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM; AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF HOLY IS UNDERSTANDING. AMEN

Jamille, verse 8 "Their visage is blacker than a coal;" does not necessarily refer to the color of their skin, but of their facial expression, that of sadness and torment, as the book of Lamentations describes the plight of the Jews because of their disobedience.

  • Ms. Gaddis on Nehemiah 1 - 10 years ago
Some of us have built our "wall" a little TOO good. Yes, we keep the world out, but in doing so, we have lost all compassion for the lost. We look at the lost as just another hostile, and even use their hostility as an excuse not to "tell every creature." What our world around us has become, is our own fault, for leaving the world on the other side of our wall. And now they are breaking it down.

  • Johann on Jude 1 - 10 years ago
Very deeply spiritual book, even quoting from the book of Enoch, which we dont have in the canon of the Bible. I dont always understand everything written in a book like this - you can add Revelations to it, however, in the gentlest way ever, the Holy Spirit would feed my soul with something as simple as verse 23. Ever wondered about a certain piece of clothing in your closet?

  • Word on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 10 years ago
Verse 3 says "man" not men and that's something to think about. Then it speaks of the falling away where people leave the church religions that they grew up in and join a one world church which is the great apostacy. Why? Who's coming to town the false messiah instead of Christ or antichrist the son of perdition and the first seal brings in a man on a white horse with a crown that looks real.FAKE.

  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Acts chapter 2 is a continuation of John the Baptist's baptism see Mk 1:4. That's why they had to be re baptized in Acts 19 because they had his baptism Acts 19:4. Acts transitions from the law to grace. You don't receive the Holy Ghost like that today, you receive the Spirit through faith see Gal 3:14. After the Jews rejected Christ in Acts 7 Paul is saved and God goes to the Gentiles Acts 20:28.
