This isn't on the 6th ch., but on Rev. 22:21 - "The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ ............" The Miriam-Webster dict. - GRACE - A period allowed for payment of a sum due ...........; The term grace is used throughout the N.T. - grace be with you, etc. It refers to a time limit the Lord has set. We have to be 'in' that grace; it's up to us. The phrase, grace be with you is - a prayer.

Albeit God given his heavenly blessings, we often tend to testify him for mundane things, we trailed ourselves, God always blessed us in ample manner, we need to know where we are lacking.

I like Sharon's comment on v. 5 - AMEN! I love the whole chapter. Verse 26 - since I r'cvd the Holy Ghost - I don't get angry. It just takes too much energy. It's so much easier to go into prayer mode. Anger just keeps feeding on itself (and feeding on your body). I'm not saying I won't get angry one day, I am human - still.

To Diana Miles on Ps. 103 -- It is a beautiful Ps., isn't it. For the past 3-4 days I went through a 'dry" spell of not being able to pray. Those spells are the worst!! But this a.m. He blessed me. Irene, If God was made of only one person, to whom was Jesus praying to when he addressed his Father? nd whom was he speaking of when he said that the Comforter (Holy Spirit) would come to guide them on all truth? We pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus, who is the mediator between the Father and man. The Holy Spirit also prays to the Father on our behalf and makes intersession for us.

I like Philippians 3:14 KJV because I am a Minister and I am on Social Security Medicare and I sleep outdoors. I am usually very tired and a lot of people are sometimes mean but I ve been a Minister for a long time. I pray that one day I ll have that place I always wanted. Have a good day.

John came to the Jews to preach the baptism of water for the remission of sins but as John clearly states, Jesus is mightier than He and would come to baptize us with the Holy Spirit. Jesus after he fulfilled the law of baptism in water said repent and believe the gospel, He did not tell us to be baptized in water. water baptism was for the Jews back then.

its amazing how the God seed lineage planted in genesis has been redeemed and confirmed back to the very image of God again perfectly for God to be glorified in them visa-vie the seed of the devil continuing to force their way to ever lasting destruction.

This verse calls up on me to stand firm perssivere in the walk with Christ, everyday nomatter what condition my life is in. It gives me hope for the reward that God has for me if i can perssivere everyday to the end.

To Susan on Gen. 1 -- We need to back up our 'witness' with scripture: 1 Tim. 3:16; Col. 2:9; Jn. 1:1, v. 10, v. 14; Rev. 1:18; 2:4. This isn't all; There are lots more. God didn't leave Himself without a witness.

To Susan on Gen. 1 -- God did indeed have the basic plan, but nowhere in His word does it mention Jesus doing anything or the Holy spirit doing anything in God's creation. God did it all because He IS all three ASPECTS, not separate persons, I am a daughter, wife and mother - but one person. God is not a person; He is spirit. He is the Holy Ghost (spirit); He was Jesus incarnate.

To 'p' on Gen. 6 - Noah lived in a different dispensation. The length of lives then isn't pertinent to us in this dispensation - the church age. The O.T. ages had to do with populating the earth and the lineage of God's people. The years had begun to shorten by the time of Abraham. Psalms 90: 10 tells that by David's time the years were in line with what they are today.
