Talking to a brother the other day believes all are sinners forever. Told him to read this chapter. VERY CLEAR. Sin is not to have dominion over believers! Period, but only in Christ.
  • Chioma on Proverbs 16 - 10 years ago
I feel confident knowing that God directs my plans. Bt my question is can God do both devising and directing a mans plan.
  • Fabian on John 6 - 10 years ago
The apostle John; the beloved apostle and last of the apostle to die, was a man who by his writings and inspiration of The Holy Spirit wrote the essence and true nature of Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to man's salvation. If you believe in Him, you will be saved.

Rose Anne Enriquez, It is not a sin to drink wine. It is a sin to be addicted to strong drink, and drunkeness.
    1 Timothy 5:23, Romans 14:21, Ephesians 5:18, Psalms 4:17, John 4:46, etc.
There are many verses where God instructed some people not to drink wine.
If you put the word wine in the "search words or verses" box you can read all verses the include the word wine.
  • Lu2677 on Psalms 26 - 10 years ago
The Holy Spirit is God, Jesus Christ is God. Jesus came to earth in the flesh. He is holy Gods. There are many names in the Bible that God calls himself.

  • Lucinda Palestrant on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Genesis 1:26; It does not say that God was talking to the animals.
Proverbs 30:6 "Add thou not unto his words lest he reprove thee and thou be found a liar."
  • Jane on 1 Samuel 13 - 10 years ago
Saul should have used or look for alternative means of making iron works instead of depending on their enemy that are prone to declaring war any how. What a King with no strategic millitary preparation .
  • Lucinda Palestrant on Proverbs 16 - 10 years ago
My comment did not have the verse; Ecclesiastes 9:3 " : yea also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead."
  • Lucinda Palestrant on Acts 16 - 10 years ago
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not on thine own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge him. And he will direct thy paths."
    You are trusting in man.
  • Dewey J on 1 Samuel 13 - 10 years ago
Gail, the Hebrew translation as well as the KJV here doesn't say what is in the first two quiz questions therefore they appear to be incorrect. However, some translations like the NIV says what the quiz questions and answers say. Glory be to God in the highest through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen.
  • Christiana Johnson on Genesis 37 - 10 years ago

  • Insight 777 on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
GOD created humanity, man and woman, in HIS image in Chapter 1 verse 27. In verse 26, God was speaking to the animals and plants and fish when he said let "us" make man in our image because man HAS to EAT to stay alive. Without plants, fish and animals man does not exist! So God created things that could sustain life before he made Humans. Humans have intelligence which is in the image of GOD.
  • Lucinda Palestrant on Proverbs 16 - 10 years ago
The context of Proverbs 16:9 is not marriage or searching for true love after divorce. As one person wrote. Proverbs 16:1 "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord." Jeremiah 10:23 "O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.":Yea also the heart of the sons o men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead." Proverbs 30:6 "Add thou not unto his word lest he reprove thee and thou be found a liar." Also read Proverbs 3:5-7

Notice that two people and two demons submitted to the Lord. The centurion is an example of the power of faith and humility. Jesus had no certain place to live but didn't allow that to hinder him. Purity, light, and holiness is to touch someone and they are liberate. The heavenly Fathers will is top priority that even burying the earthly father is task for others. Jesus was peaceful when evicted.
  • Debra M. Matthews on Proverbs 16 - 10 years ago
Thank you for your ministry. God is using it to help His people in these turbulent and trying times. The encouragement is a source of good news when the bad is overwhelming. It is food to the famished and a quenching of thirst in a dry and desolate land.

Tina these are the events that will take place at the end. The big dogs are coming the locust disguised priest and when instead of CHRIST antichrist shows up all the churches will listen to the locust telling them to follow there Jesus. It's not the true CHRIST it's a fake so when they say CHRIST is here or there don't go! Wait for the true Christ. Read the scriptures for your self.

I never shared the dreams with anyone a total stranger came to me in a different city and said the same it never happened.
  • Bruce Burkley on Isaiah 43 - 10 years ago
Isaiah's words reveal the benefits of the Gospel [1 Cor.15.1-4 ] to us who trust in it with strong faith. Who would think something AS THIS would come from Isaiah? [Verses 19, 21, and others ] Our God is certainly almighty, and merciful to us former gentiles. Blest be the God of Israel!!
