It's my understanding that this was written for that time , not to be confuse with who is teaching the gospel today. Paul speaks glowingly about those women who labored in the gospel and whose name is written in the book of life . He speaks of. those women who use their homes as churches , this had to be sanction by the Holy Ghost.

They took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. It is not lawful to put them into the sacred treasury, because they are the price of blood. After consulting together, they used the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for strangers. Therefore, that field called Field of blood.

Many today use scripture out of context using them to their advantage because the is a a good scripture to manifest the power of God to mankind teaching us just to be thankful but the increase of knowledge brings evil . 2 CORINTHIANS 2 : Verse 17 says more hoe scripture are used today to bound people not free them .... God came to show us what he could do for us not what we could do for him .

I am always touched by Eph 3:8 where Paul acknowledges that he is the least amongst them all but made great by God and has such, he has become the Teacher of the Great Gospel to the Gentiles. The man acknowledges that the Gospel has been a treasure of Jews and Israelites but because God entered into a dispensation of Grace and he reached out to people who otherwise could not have receive the grace
