I' m to be yoked up with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to be yoked with believers : to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers : I can have no fellowship with the works of darkness : not possible. Even when God sent his angels to bring Lot out of danger Lot was reluctant to go. The Angels had to put their hands on him and his family and quide them out. I hope for this mercy in my own life, for I'm often slow to do what I should do.

I think you answered your own question why do people still have multiple locks on the door because bad things happen to good people so you must protect yourself and your family just because you are with God and have his armor on does not mean that the people outside are with God and God also said we must be submissive not dumb careles we must forgive but not forget that is what defines us from God
