I believe the big bang theory is a very carnel minded way of thinking about life when god himself made such wonderful creation around us.
  • Garyloyd on Genesis 1 - 14 years ago
Levi wisdom was Proverbs 8:22 to 31 and in 31 you will see that you are there along with all of us. Moses was most likely the scribe. Creation was spoken of in Isaiah 45:18. Along time before this renewal took place of planet earth. The first earth age was destroyed, made to a wilderness in Jeremiah 4:22 to 27 and after that katabole (cast down overthrow) you see there God telling us "not to a full end" no not Noahs flood there is no boat or people left in the first flood. 2 Peter 3 speaks of this and were not to be ignorant of it. The 4th word in the 2nd verse is hayah and it means and translates "became" not "was". God got mad and sunk the earth in water and washed it like a bowl 14000 years ago because of an attempted overthrow by satan. Things froze up pretty cold and then God turned the light back on. All that I said I can prove in the scripture but I my self have an opinion about something that I can't prove to be scripture and that is verse 4 where I believe God seperated the children of light from the children of the darkness. If you read the Parable of the Sower Matt. 13:37 to 43 you see the seperation of children and who sows them. We know 2 of every flesh got on the 2nd flood boat with Noah and his family so that means 2 kenites (sons of Cain) and they show up in 1st Chron. 2:55. Oh! Eve didn't eat an apple in the fig grove with Satan the serpent who was the tree of good who turned evil. Nope! Cain came from his daddy the tree of good and evil and that's the contravesy spoken of between the seeds. (Sperm) generations not yet born. Anyway, we were all replenished in the flesh this second earth age and this first chapter is speaking of getting things back in order to live in the flesh.

I think that we an awesome god however the actual order of events

who was with GOD during creation taking records?
  • Reynaldo Besana on Genesis 1:16 - 14 years ago
I'm having some difficulty in understanding the last clause, "[He made] the stars also." I've read elsewhere that the words inside the brackets (as well as the last word - "also") are not in the original. They were added during translation as help in understanding the verse. So to add the sentence "He made the stars also." seems to me to be saying God made the stars together with the sun and the moon -- after He has created the heavens and the earth in verse 1. Looks funny to me. The closest (and much easier for me to digest) meaning must be that the stars were (made) to rule the night also. Or if we move a little farther back (v.14), as signs for seasons, etc.
The sun and the moon could have been made after God made the stars (heavens) therefore to say that he made the stars also during or after He made the sun and the moon doesn't fit logic and science.

In Genesis Chapter one(1),God introduces and concludes the creation of the earth and the universe(heaven). The AWESOME GOD is the INTELLIGENT DESIGNER.

'US' meaning the one speaking. In old English (or old way of speaking) it was a proper way of speaking when a King proclaimed himself as US.

Genesis 2:21-25 is an expatiation of Genesis 1:27
These verses gives us more detail on how male and female human beings were created.

God created Adam and Eve in the 6th day of creation.

    Brothers and Sisters

To understand and receive a revelation of Bible scriptures we should make it a point to pray first to God so that the Holy Spirit can guide us through the scriptures.

There is irony in two facts:

First, the fact that the deepest and most profound argument against the "KJV Only" movement is provided in the Translator's Letter of the 1611 KJV.

Secondly, if the proponents of said movement had ever actually READ the 1611 KJV, they wouldn't participate in such vain disputations.

I myself spent years laboring under such vanity...though not KJV Only, the enemy was heaping condescension and mistrust into my mind. It took years of struggle, prayer, and study to finally be liberated of it in faith...years that likely would not have been necessary if I had ever been gifted the humble, genuine truth that while God's word is true and pure...it is more divine than we perceive as, when coupled with humble spirit and a willingness to accept that there is none that perfectly comprehend God's full glory, it stands to implore us to seek fellowship from others, and drives us to spend our lives meditating on God's ways...amazing.

The Protestants, in being zealous to observe the sins of papists, fell into the same trap but a scant few years later in obscuring the complex nature of God's revealed Word, on the alter of "making it less confusing for the common man"...

I ask this, how does the common man ever attain the uncommon in Christ without the challenge of seeking Him? It is a negligent pastor who would trade the responsibility and blessing of a curious flock to guide, by obscuring truth revealed to them.

Kindly guide them in the milk, but if they seek the meat...rejoice in the opportunity to patiently guide what, with good labor and wisdom, could well become a fellow workman in service to the Master. Amen

This chapter has given me a more meaningful insight about my existence here on earth - that I was created for a purpose and I should not waste my life. God is perfect in all ways. God is great. He has already planned the rest of my life before I was even planned to be conceived in my mother's womb. God's creation is perfect.

In John 1 we see that Jesus made everything that exists and then in Genesis 1:1 we see that God made everything that exists. It is crystal clear throughout the Bible that Jesus is God.

Genesis 1 holds the key to understanding all the seen and unseen, it establishes a scientific truth that creation had a beginning in TIME......that creation as we see it was no there...that God, not angels or man or demons, spoke everything into being....
  • Charles Kamire on Genesis 1 - 14 years ago
It shows the perfect and orderly planning of God's work and how in oneness the Holy Trinity in wisdom, created everything at the right time i.e no beast was created before where they would stand nor all the other creations before light was given to them. Therefore to encourage those in need that in HIS wisdom GOD must give you enough light before HE answers that your prayer,HE sees the darkness that you can,t see-tire not continue praying saint! Glory Halleluyah,HE is Holy hence HE operates in total Light/Grace/Love/Mercy/Justice/Wisdom/Power.....Amen!

"Born again" is born from above. We came in the flesh. All who came in the flesh are born from above. Fallen angels as in Gen. 6 have no chance of getting into heaven. We who have came in the flesh and love our Lord Jesus and believe and follow Him will make it back home.
  • Garyloyd on Genesis 1 - 14 years ago
God the Father is God the Holy Spirit and came to earth as God the Son or God with us as the Son of God.
Revelation 22:3They are One joined together on the Throne.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Genesis 1 - 14 years ago
To Phillip Bitner, you cannot understand the trinity. As Peter explained verse 26 "let us make man in our image." God made man a body, a soul, and a spirit. Jesus told Nicodemus except a man be born again he cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. Just as water has three states: liquid, solid, and a vapor H2O think of the trinity this way. We understand in part now, but when he that is perfect, Jesus, comes we will know as we are known. So have faith in God, and wait until Jesus returns to take us to glory. We will understand everything then. May God bless you richly my beloved.

    very vivid picture of the creation of the earth;
being covered with water & the Lord, God moving the waters from off the face of the earth, & putting them together on each side of the earth, calling them seas. Creating trees that bear fruit & each one having seed within itself to reproduce every tree of his own kind. then the same with vegetation, vines bearing fruit. & creation of every kind that comes from the ground
