Never once in scripture does God claim to be anything but God and God alone. Isaiah 44.6 .....I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God. If there were a trinity God would have said beside us there is no God. Since God cannot lie he said beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44.8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are my witnesses. Is there a God there beside me? yea there is no God; I know not any. God is not confused. He said; Genesis 1.27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;....we, man are one. If God were a trinity and he created man in his image; then we would also be a trinity, otherwise we would not be in the image of God!

We must have faith in God to believe the creation story. God has said that without faith it is impossible to please him. So we see the trinity at work God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God spoke the worlds into creation by the word of his power. When Jesus sets up his kingdom he will restore the earth to its beauty before the fall of man. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.

It is probably sin that caused animals to start eating each other (dinosaurs). It is fascinatiing to think that what we understand about dinosaurs today could be 100% wrong.

It probably grieved God to see his creation eating each other along with man acting so wickedly. Then along came the flood and wiped everything clean.

I really believe the flood is what killed the dinosaurs. I mean, if it wiped away all humans, then it is logical tho think it wiped away every single creature he created (except the creatures on the ark).

Science now confirms the literal account of genesis 1 to be true

There are two main 'unresolved' issues perpetuating this stalemate. 1) The creation or evolution of the universe. 2) The mystery of the identity of a firmament.
The controversy resulting in a stalemate with no resolve in visual sight clearly indicates flawed or false models unable to correspond or authenticate the literal account itself without contradicting science or reason. This has consequently resulted in two publicly displayed outcomes. 1) It has led science against the account itself to be false and 2) those that defend the account are rendered helpless with such a model to show without contradiction its validity… Either the model is flawed or the account itself is false.
This resolving model will clearly show the account itself is indeed literally accurate, restoring its validity…
1) The creation or evolution of the universe; Introduction

This argument is not over the validity of the genesis account, that science now indicate to be literally true but indeed over one worldwide accepted ‘interpretation’ of the genesis account, that science has shown to be false…

An interpretation of the account to be the creation of the ‘universe’ and that it evolved all within six days. It is this interpretation, widely accepted by Christianity that has been publicly argued, debated, scrutinized and disagreed to even within Christianity itself for hundreds of years now, from Origen in the 3rd century to present day… Indicating a false interpretation or rendering of the account of creation itself…

This is affirmed by its inability to agree with science or reason…
The lack of ability or power for this interpretation to correspond to any physical scientific evidence to declare or prove its validity has been detrimental to our unity. Forcing us to conform to a number of our own experimental physical models and scientific theory…
There is no known literal interpretation of the creation account of genesis 1 accepted by science to be scientifically sound or valid…

The most recent accepted scientific model of theory however; has publicly conceived two new implications regarding the planet and our existence…
Our previous scientific understanding to the origin of our existence has been the evolution of the universe, from the big bang to the current planet and the eventual evolving of our existence for over 200 years…

The Science community now publicly admonishes that ‘something else’ had to have happen to the planet inducing its inhabitants, regardless of the big bang’s universe…
Without this second singular impacting event, there would be no life as we know it, just a nameless planet suspended in space and secondly the occurrence of this “impact theory”, divided the huge planetary size molten rock into two separate planetary size molten rocks… (Wikipedia)

I submit; the account of this life inducing ‘dividing event’ was testified thousands of years ago by the literal record itself, before it was falsely interpreted the ‘creation of the universe’, that in fact predates the ‘dividing’ of this planet by some 14 billion years…

This is affirmed by the ‘scientific recognized impact theory’ itself…
The testament of the event would be the only known literal record of the account that does not contradict science or reason. The ancient genesis account of a Firmament…

2) The mystery of the identity of a firmament; Introduction

For thousands of years scholars and philosophers alike have pondered with what has been considered by many to be the greatest mystery of all time. Yet again, the stalemate of the most pivoting factor to the faith of man has no less than devoured his unity with scattered doubt and uncertainty…

Our blind spot is the opening vision of our planet not known by name as of yet, with water all over it... Now as we see the planet covered in water suspended in space, if this is the only model we have, when God divides the waters from the waters we are left with only limited inconclusive scenarios of what that could look like.

See the planet covered in water, as God divides half of the waters or so above the planet, and the remaining waters gather together to one place, where ever that might be, then at some point all the water above floods back to the planet, would that not recover the planet back to its original void state under water?

Or the divided waters above the firmament remain above the waters under the firmament. Then our current alleged mystery is; where are the waters above? Being understood by the things that are made as it were should be clearly seen but are clearly not.
We have no identified location for the displacement of the waters, on the earth or above it in this scenario, indicating a false model incapable of verifying the account itself… This is affirmed by the mystery of its identity…

Our blind spot is revealed in this question; when we see the planet in space covered in water, other than the water itself, what does the planet have in common with any other planet we know of regarding its form?

Your only answer should be; it’s round... It’s round or spherical with water all over it... What form would you say then, any planet we know of is in? Again its form is round...

Well, according to the documented testament of the account, this planet was WITHOUT its form, covered entirely with water... I wonder what that model might look like, a PLANET, without its current form, suspended in space, covered in water… It would be the ‘true verifying model’ to test.

My brother was an atheist but the more he tried to prove it the less evidence he had, he now knows that there is more around us than what we can see with our eyes. I'm not so sure I understand it correctly, but does an atheist not believe anything spiritual,like ghost, angels, demons, God or Satan?
When I looked at the days of creation I was puzzled also to see light created in the first day and again on the third day. Some time later I seen that in the scriptures that God does everything in the spiritual first then in the natural, It really opened the picture for me. Check out the comments I made on Jan. 24, 2012, That's what I see.
By the way your comment says that you had a revelation and needed the bible for a reference, did it confirm or deny your revelation? And what was your initial revelation?

If you read the Holy Bible from a scientific view it is pointless. It is not a history book but a word of God if you a ready to accept it like that. god bless you.

You bring up some interesting points, but I believe God handled all those details and dependencies just fine. He's the one that made the balance and everything so dependent on each other, for example, the exact placement of the Earth from the sun, so its the right temperature, and how it affects living things. I think either verse 3 or verse 14 is when God created the sun. Yeah, living things were made to be dependent on the sun and dependent on countless factors in order to survive. I personally believe it. God can do anything.

This is your friendly Atheist dropping in to ask a few questions... I had a revelation today and needed the Bible for a reference. Specifically Genesis. The "Creation" story.

Now, as a "free" thinker, you should all be able to wrap your heads around the idea that Genesis looks to be written out of order. Seriously. The universe, the stars, and the Sun would all have had to be "made" before the Earth its self. We know for a fact that the Sun gives us our light source and that with out it it would be very very dark, (and cold). Believing that the earth was created before the Sun is just plain gullibility. Not only that, but plant life was supposedly made before the creation of the Sun. Seriously? I'm also not seeing any references to the "creation" of the atmosphere, oxygen/air, or the magnetic poles, the massive molten core of the Earth, nor any mention of elements and other "specifics" that science has answered.

Please, take a step back and look at this logically, from a scientific view. Analyze and use what we know as basic fact to see the flaws in this, and that it was written by man to gain power over an ignorant people in a time when most people were uneducated and believed just about anything that gave them answers.

Please remember that the Bible, the inspired word of God came, through many characters, all with their own personalities and ways of expressing the reality of God. These personal encounters with God are meant as a guide to cultivate our own relationship with the Creator.
We need to check our personal experience with the scriptures to be sure that we are on the wright track and that we don't do some of the extreme things that we read about or see in the news. Keep reading your bible and asking questions, usually the answer is near the question. God will personally give you the answers if you're sincere.

Generally I give a strong support when one makes an effort to go under the surface of the Holy Text and creates his own attitude. It is irrelevant to me if I agree or disagree. It is important to be honest with yourself.

We all know that there is a spiritual reality as well as a natural reality. Elisha prayed that the eyes of the young man with him would be opened, and when they were, he seen a great host of angels(11 kings 6:17). Also an angel spoke to Abraham out of heaven ( Gen. 22:11)That being said the spiritual realm is all around us, good and evil.
The first three days of creation are unique in my bible (kjv) were five elements were created and capitalized DAY, NIGHT, HEAVEN, EARTH AND SEAS. For a second let's just look at the numbers. 3 days , 5 elements. First day has 3 verses, second day has 3 verses, and the third day has 5 verses. 3 is the number of perfection 5 is the number of grace.
Those five elements are symbolic
DAY = GOOD
NIGHT = EVIL
HEAVEN = SPIRITUAL REALM
EARTH = NATURAL REALM
SEAS = LIFE
Seeing this part of creation this way has helped me answer some questions, like why sometimes it says into the earth and unto the earth. Rev. 12:8&9 " ... neither was their place found any more in heaven.(spiritual realm) (9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,(natural realm) and his angels with him."
Seeing the first three days of creation this way has also raised questions that I don't have the answers to and probably never will, but i don't believe in coincidences and I know that the bible will not contradict itself. Salvation is a personal experience with God. When we stand to give account of our lives, "he said this..." will not be accepted. We have to work out our own salvation through prayer and fasting and reading the Word of God. Religion is man made, we are God made.

The earth in Gen 1: 1-2 has a Spiritual meaning. The earth is our mind of understanding. There was light, meaning understanding. If this is not Spiritual, then why did God made the light on the first day, but only created the sun on the 3rd day? There is a few verses in the bible, that proves that the earth is a person/mind of person. Please see Isa 1:2, Rev 12:16, Isa 66:8, Luke 8:4-15, Hab 2:14, Eze 43:2 You will see that Jesus explains the parable of the seed which is sowed, but Jesus shows us that earth is our mind of understanding. We should serve God in Spirit and in truth. The Bible is a Spiritual book.

In Gen 1, we must believe the first verse to be absolutely true.This is the key to understanding God's word," we must" believe Him.Verse 1-3, God introduces His trinity to us, God the Father,His Spirit and His Word. Between verse 1&2 there is
an undefined period of time that is seperated
from the creation of man in God's Image. This period of time is commonly refered to as "the Gap" . This "Gap " includes events like: the Ice Age, Dinosaurs and prehistoric man, and the fall of Lucifer and his angels
from the third Heaven( where God dwells). This is supported elsewhere in God's Word... 2Pet 3 v 5-7, for starters.

Banes 120 peoplpe including Paul had received the Holy Spirit after the death of Jesus. They all talked in different tongues,so much so that the people aroung thought they were all drunk in the morning hours.. Paul, for one, had healed people through the name of Jesus. Paul could have not healed with out the Holy Spirit.

The earth was a pretty place before satan was cast out of heaven and came to earth and his sin caused the earth to become dark without form and void.

Then what do you do about the rest of the scriptures as @ Peter 3:5 to 7 where its speaks of the world that was and the world of old and when looking up words you find out there are going to be three earth age`s and this one is in the middle. Also then we would have to change Jeremiah 4:23 to 26 or take it out where we all got stupit and all the cities gone and man was taken off the earth and animals/birds gone. Then we best go to Isaiah 45:18 and change how GOD created a beautiful earth in the beginning. Oh! We need to change that fourth word was "hayah" because if you look up code #1961 for was it turns out the earth became without form and void. Proverbs 8:22 to the end would have to be changed where God tells us He had wisdom and created a wonderfull place for His children to live and Him and his wisdom and all the children were shouting for joy because of it was beautiful. We need to go back to Job and make changes with 38:7 where it says the complete family was there and it was beautiful. We would have to go to the New Testamant and change the word "foundation" all when speaking of the creation and what took place in the mysteries of God when you look up the word it is katabole and means cast down overthrow and fits all together with Ezekiel 28 where pride got to satan and he tried to steal Gods throne. Plus we would need to go to Revelation and take out verse 4 where satan as the dragon took a third of God`s children. Oh, yeah! Need to take out Matt 13 where it explains in verse 36 to 44 that satan stold children and cast them to the earth and they are tares. I think we should just keep the scriptures God gave us they all work together just right and that onee word replenish, well, it means just what it means that this is our second time on this planet earth. I say that because God said Jacob I loved and Esau I hated and to say something like that God had to live and knew Esau. Just as when you read Jeremiah and ordained Jeremiah in the first earth age and tells us that He,God knew jeremiah before he put him in his Mothers womb. Let's just study hard and learn the word and not keep one word plenish and toss all the rest of the scriptures out.

I believe this was millions of years ago and God created a beautiful earth as He said in Isaiah 45:18. At that time we were with Him as its spoken of in Proverbs 8:31 and again the whole family was mentioned in Job 38:7.

to better define the word replenish, go to Strongs Hebrew and Greek lexicon web page, and also for other help in defining words, the translation for replenish there is : to fill, be full, fill and subdue, confirm and consecrate. Use that website in concordance with this one!

Rory is 100 % correct in his translation, replenish although is used, to imply thatit means to replace, is like saying that theres such a word as plenish when reading this, but plenish is not a word, I gather thai it implies to keep creation going, to cause it to spread, rejuvenate, procreate, as there was nothing here before. Concerning the phrase before the foundations...., that is a reference as to how God sees time, the past, present and future are all one to him. he knew us beforewe were born, he sees us now, and also sees us in heaven with him, all at the same time, all as one!, howver it is up to us whether or not we truly end up in heaven with him in the end (predestination). Read also the first chapter of John, pay close attention to the 1st 5, or 6 verses!
