Is Revelation 6:2 referring to the Second Coming of Christ?
In Revelation 19:11-15, we are given the vision of the second coming of Christ. The Key Verses are Psalm 45:3-4, Psalm 96:13, and Isaiah 11:4.
In Revelation Chapter 19, we see that when Christ returns at His Second Coming, He will be riding a white horse. Chapter 19 also tells us that when Christ comes at His second coming, He will be wearing MANY CROWNS.
If we go back to Revelation 6:2, we also see a white horse. Some see "white horse", and they connect this with the white horse in Revelation Chapter 19 and believe this is Jesus riding this horse in both places, Chapters 6 and 19. But is the rider the same in both places?
In Chapter 19, I do believe that the rider on the white horse is Jesus. But in Chapter 6, the rider is not referring to Jesus. It is the representation of the antichrist, the false messiah who will come.
The only thing the same in both places is the white horse and this can mislead us into thinking this is Jesus because we know He will return on a white horse. But in Chapter 6, it is not Jesus. I say this because of the differences I see between Chapters 6 and 19. I will share these differences in a second post as I am unable to fit this into a single post.
There's those in the OT that passed on that is not considered part of the new covenant and is not part of Christ Church.
They were saved by faith but under the old covenant and rituals that pointed to their Messiah's finish work on the cross freeing them from the bondage that held them captive.
The difference between Israel and the rest of the world was that they were heirs of the land, Davidic and Kingdom promises to Abraham.
(Not to be mistaken for the recipient of the promises shown mentioned in Galatians 3:29 referring to Christ.)
However we all should know there's no entering into the presence of God without the door. John 10:9. That goes for all ages.
These specific promises is after the Gathering of the Gentiles into the body of Christ. "The Church" as shown in Acts 15:14-16
"Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
"AFTER THIS" I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
The old testament prophets prophesied about the gather of Israel, (Post Church) and the Davidic Kingdom.

Hello "Misty Ahrens" Lord wants us to be with Him as much as possible. Children, young and old. He makes no difference. Not poor or rich either. To get a little personal here now, I came from a Christian grandparents' home. And every time I stayed over there. Grandma always came and held a little "devotional". If I can call it that. A conversation with me about miracles, signs and Jesus. Then it was about Jesus. It has followed me through life. For comfort and security. only milk food- Maybe a tip for you.

n the Old Testament, the earthly kingdom promised to Israel is a central theme of prophecy-rooted in God's covenants with Abraham, David, and reiterated by the prophets. These passages consistently describe a literal kingdom on earth, centered in Jerusalem, where Messiah reigns over Israel and the nations.
Here are some key OT scriptures:
1. Promise to Abraham - A literal land & nation
Genesis 13:14-15 - God promises Abraham and his seed the land forever.
Genesis 17:8 - "I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land for an everlasting possession."
2. Davidic Covenant - Messiah ruling from Jerusalem
2 Samuel 7:12-16 - God promises David a seed (Messiah) whose throne and kingdom will be established forever.
Psalm 89:3-4, 34-37 - David's throne and kingdom will endure like the sun and moon.
3. Prophecies of the earthly kingdom
Isaiah 2:2-4 - In the last days, the mountain of the LORD's house will be established in Jerusalem; nations will come to learn God's ways; peace will cover the earth.
Isaiah 9:6-7 - Messiah will sit upon the throne of David and rule with justice forever.
Isaiah 11:1-10 - Messiah reigns in righteousness; the wolf dwells with the lamb; the earth is full of the knowledge of the LORD.
Jeremiah 23:5-6 - The "Branch" of David will reign as King, executing justice in the land.
Ezekiel 37:21-28 - Israel regathered in their land; David (Messiah) will be king over them; God's sanctuary in their midst forever.
Daniel 2:44 - In the days of earthly kings, God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13-14, 27 - The Son of Man receives an everlasting dominion, and the kingdom is given to the saints.
Zechariah 14:9, 16-17 - The LORD will be King over all the earth; nations will come to Jerusalem to worship.
My last post started referencing the New Testament. Before we get into that we need to discuss the exile and post Babylonian exile as it had a prophetic timeline of 70 years; but a longer prophetic implication in Daniel 9:24-27. This would involve a 69 week (or 69 x 7 year) period until Jesus was martyred (or cut off) which would be a parenthesis; as it were around the church age which is notably absent. Therefore; their consummation and greatest trial is in the time of "Jacob's trouble" ( Jeremiah 30:7).
God had warned ahead of time with the blessings and cursings of Deuteronomy 28-30 (or around there) of the state; even of the last days where there was a conditional sort of situation that would allow for repentance even in the last days and tribulation ( Deut. 4:30). But the diaspora was a state Israel spent the vast majority of its existence especially after the Babylonian invasion. We would see due to their idolotry a judgment where they would be sent in exile and suffer greatly; but God promised to establish them a second time after captivity ( Jeremiah 30:3; and Isaiah 11:11). They will finally realize who the true Messiah is but according to Zechariah not until near the end of the Tribulation (see Isaiah 10:20 also for them recognizing Antichrist isn't their true hope).
In this study in general; we have looked at those individuals who have caused; in a large part their own headaches and troubles and also the prophets who were challenged and ridiculed by their own people when they were faithfully preaching the truth rather than what people by and large wanted to hear. We certainly see the same thing today. Finally there is judgment where there are innocent victims caught up in events who either don't heed ore aren't aware of the warning signs to escape ahead of time. This today involves those who hate Israel and are allied for their destruction; much like what we see in Psalm 83. That is a sort of national persecution.
So here, John says from the one who is, and who was, and who is coming; the I AM, the eternally existing one. That's God the Father. And then it says, and from the seven Spirits which are before His, that is, God's throne;
There are two schools of thought. Remember the number seven doesn't necessarily mean there are seven Spirits. Seven represents completeness, perfection. The Jews take it as a Hebraism. RASHI, one of the greatest Jewish scholars uses Isaiah 11:1-2 to show that what John is using is a Hebraism to denote the seven-fold Spirit of God. It means the Spirit of God is complete and perfect.
But what specifically is he making reference to? In Revelation 4:5, we see the same thing when we study what the throne is like in heaven. It says and out of the throne proceed lightnings, and thunderings, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
In Revelation Chapter 5, the chapter where we see this scroll with seven seals on it, which is the title deed to the earth. And the call goes out who is worthy to take the scroll and loosen the seals thereof. And no one was found worthy in heaven. And John began to weep. And he was told don't weep; the Lamb of God is worthy.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
The seven eyes of Christ are the seven Spirits. So, it represents completeness, perfection. But its application is to the Lord's seeing. You see, he's talking about the all-encompassing Spirit who sees all things and knows all things. That's the way the Jews understood it. For scripture reference, Zechariah 4:10 talks about these seven eyes, meaning that God sees perfectly and completely all things. So, John is using a Hebraism here.
A cockatrice is a venomous snake. Perhaps a viper.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the COCKATRICE' den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. Isaiah 11:8-10.
5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
something to be grasped,a
7but emptied Himself,
taking the form of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself
and became obedient to death-
even death on a cross.
9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place
and gave Him the name above all names,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
What I am considering here is how Christ forever is going to be in His glorified body; hence not only being the "first of the firstfruits" as it were ( 1 Cor 15:23) but in a sense eternally being displayed as perfect God and perfect man. He is going to bear the marks of His crucifixion on His body forever; no doubt painless for Him but an everlasting reminder to us what it cost Him to do this in our place.
As I alluded to in my earlier post; God's plan for man changes from the Edenic garden to a city of gold; from man ruling over the earth to Christ and God leading with a rod of iron; and destroying Satan's Antichrist and armies upon His return.
In general it can be said that God never intended to "lord it over his subjects" if we are to use a common phrase. He is ruling and reigning with us ( Rev. 20:6; 2 Tim. 2:12 and many other verses). David is also going to rule in the Millennial Kingdom ( Hosea 3:5). Christ will still act as impartial judge as ultimately arbitrated by the Father (see Isaiah 11:3 and 4). Then God Himself will rule in eternity ( 1 Cor. 15:24).
We could say that all of human history is as a stage play-albeit in real time and real suffering. It serves to glorify God and of course He is victorious over all foes as He is Creator and they created beings under His control. Some things ( Deut. 29:29) are mysteries
Romans 11:16-24 shows Israel as distinct from the Church: the "natural branches" are the Jews, and the "wild branches" are the Gentiles.
The "olive tree" is the collective people of God. The "natural branches" (Jews) are "cut off" the tree for unbelief, and the "wild branches" (believing Gentiles) are grafted in. This has the effect of making the Jews "jealous" and then drawing them to faith in Christ, so they might be grafted in again and receive their promised inheritance.
The natural branches are still distinct from the "wild branches," so that God's covenant with His people is literally fulfilled.
Isaiah 62:11-12 "Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
Moses' prediction of Israel's permanent restoration to the land in Deuteronomy 30:1-10.
Moses said, "THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL CIRCUMCISE YOUR HEARTS!!
SO HOW WILL "ALL ISRAEL BE SAVED?
Zechariah 8-14 , which speak of end-times Israel at Christ's return.
The key verse describing the coming to faith of the future remnant of Israel is Zechariah 12:10.
This occurs at the end of the tribulation.
Also; Zechariah 8:7-8.
Israel will be regathered from the ends of the earth ( Isaiah 11:12.
Ezekiel 36:26 reads, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh"
You said,
"Israel failed with the Law of Moses and the tradition of their fathers. Only in Christ shall they reach that state"
Israel wasn't able to reach that state under the Mosaic law. The Mosaic law wasn't given for that purpose!
Ezekiel and Jeremiah states that God was going to do something NEW!
Jeremiah 31:31-34.
Ezekiel 11:19-20.
Ezekiel 36:26-27.
The Spirit within represents a NEW birth. The Law and the Prophet's taught this
Jesus counseled Nicodemus on this in
John 3:5-10.
Nicodemus was expected to Know this being that he was a Teacher of Israel.
The interpretation of the sticks is in passage. Ezekiel 37:16-21.
The two sticks represent the southern and the Northern Kingdom as mentioned.
Also, they will be gathered from every side and brought back into their own land.
Let's take Ezekiel 36 and Ezekiel 37 and put them in its proper context.
There's mention of a new heart and new spirit.
The dry bones.
The two sticks.
Their gathering.
and their own Land.
Ezekiel is writing during the captivity of Babylon but his writings extends past the captivity on into the latter days as do Daniel and Jeremiah.
Judgment of Israel is of a much broader scope than the Babylonian captivity.
We find that in Deuteronomy 28:37 ,64-68.
It's important to note that this dispersion is global, Not Babylon.
Also the gathering Ezekiel is talking about is global and exceeds Babylon.
This is a second gathering! Isaiah 11:9-12.
Isaiah 43:5-6.
When you read this you'll see that it has never happened.
They still have a heart of stone.
Some look at Israel today and say this must be the Church but "in those days" there is more to consider here than just the New heart concerning this prophecy.
Do you believe that the will of the Father and the will of the Son are always the same or different?
Jesus was obedient to the Father, Jesus said many times it is not His will but the will of the Father who sent Him, the same as we are to do, John 4:34John 5:30Mark 3:35.
Do you believe that a human being can truly save all men from sin and death by a perfect life in their own will?
First, I will have to say it was the will of the Father, Jesus at the end even asked His father if there was another way but not Jesus's will but the will of His Father, Matthew 26:39Luke 22:42. We are told this is the foundation of our faith, Jesus' sacrificial death. God cannot die God is Spirit He has no blood to shed for sin it had to be a man, His Son, born of a woman.
John 3:16 God gave His Son not Himself 1 John 2:221 John 4:32 John 1:7Romans 5:82 Corinthians 5:21, God cannot be made sin, 1 Corinthians 15:17 Jesus died, and God raised Him from the dead, the first man to live a perfect life, the first fruits of those who sleep in death. 1 Corinthians 15:14 as said if Jesus was not a man who lived a perfect life and died and was raised from the dead all is vain.
The first Adam was the first man Jesus was the last Adam and the second man, 1 Corinthians 15:45-47. 1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. The law had to be fulfilled by a man.
How would a human being know that they are the Messiah from birth and thus know not to ever sin?
As we see Luke 2:51-52 Jesus grew up increasing in wisdom and stature in favor with God and man. Jesus was twelve years old and He knew His father was God, but it doesn't say Jesus knew then He was to be the Messiah. God also said He would raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, Deuteronomy 18:15, Isaiah 11:1-5 Isaiah 61:1-2 confirmed in Luke 4:18-21. Romans 1:1-42 Timothy 2:8.
Hello Adam. I consider your question through two separate perspectives: one, before the incarnation of the Word of God and the other, after it. From my readings of the whole Word of God, I don't believe that the writers of the OT nor their hearers would have understood any other concept or acceptance of the God's Nature other than 'He is One & there is none beside Him' (e.g. Isaiah 45:5.6).
Even the "Shema Yisrael" ( Deuteronomy 6:4,5) is Israel's central belief & affirmation on the singularity of God's Person, & any suggestion of a 'compound' Nature of God would be anathema. Also Isaiah 53:1-12 and Isaiah 9:6,7 references to a coming Messiah, which should clearly reveal the Divine Nature of a Coming One, is discarded by them, then & now. So, anything of a Triune God must be rejected by the Jew, & only the operation of God by His Spirit (i.e. God revealing Himself & working before them) should be acceptable to them (e.g. Psalm 51:10,11; Isaiah 11:2; & many others). As believers though, we can see the Triune God in operation in the whole Bible, but Israel is blinded to this Truth & their hearts hardened.
When Jesus came & spoke (e.g. John 16:27,28; John 17:5), He declared His Divine Nature, that which was not revealed before. So your reference ( Matthew 22:32), speaks primarily of the One Nature of God; but to those who believe, having received salvation through Jesus Christ, know that the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob was always the Triune God, Who would one day manifest Himself fully to a needy world: God's Word first by the prophets, now given through His Word made flesh ( Hebrews 1:1-3) . What Israel knew of the One God then, should have revealed the full Nature of a Triune God at the appearance of their Messiah. But their eyes were blinded & hearts hardened. Therefore, as Christians, I believe that we should see God (in the OT & NT) as a Triune God, manifesting Himself also as His Word and His Spirit going forth to accomplish His Will over His creation.
We have all come another day closer to the return of Christ. Isaiah 51:6 and other verses in Psalms refer to the earth waxing old like a garment; but as Job said there will be a resurrection and we shall see Him in our own flesh ( Job 19:26 and surrounding verses). The suffering of the saints which is part of God's purging process in our own lives will come to an end; certainly if Paul with the immense suffering promised him in Acts 9:16 could state that sufferings now are no comparison to what is to come ( Romans 8:18) heaven is too wonderful for words.
Whatever is left will be restored during the Millennium so that people can live fulfilled long lives in a peaceful existence. The earth will produce its fruit in abundance and Satan will be restrained. Only this will bring about the end of war ( Isaiah 2:4).
I will be the first to admit; and I doubt that I'm the only one that it seems almost a cruel joke to hold on to such hope; especially in regard to the Rapture which was rather obsessed over in the 1970s and 1980s and today hardly discussed in traditional church settings. We have come to a point where it is not discussed in church; but there are numerous online sites which are pretty much obsessed with the topic and endless dreams and visions that individuals are supposed to have had on the issue. It is hard to imagine just how great it will be not to have Satan and his emissaries like a spider with tentacles removed from what is now a chokehold on almost everything in the world today. Nonetheless we have a cloud of witnesses ( Heb. 12:1) which are of every saint who has died since the time of Christ and in fact some are the "first of the firstfruits" as it were of the O.T. saints resurrected in Matthew 27:52 and 53.
To imagine society without the violence and lawlessness of today is a stretch. When Christ comes to rule with a rod of iron He will also be just (see Isaiah 11:3 and other verses). Today may He reign in our hearts.
Brother S Spencer is correct that from the beginning Christ was perfect, being the image of his Father.
But the word says he LAID DOWN that perfection and took on the form of sinful flesh.
He walked in that condition until he was BAPTISED by his Father, having the fullness of his Father's Spirit poured out on him.
Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord, and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, nor reprove after the hearing of his ears.
Job 25:4 How can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest (the man Jesus Christ) taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,
Hebrews 5:2 That he can have compassion on the ignorant, and them that are out of (I am) THE WAY; for that he himself is compassed with infirmity.
Psalms 5:3 By reason thereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
Read Psalms 69, It's Christ speaking, this will open a whole new can of worms.
Jesus became our Sabbath as he became our rest as we now rest in his words which are spirit and life John 6:63. The Jews could not keep the Sabbath day they always polluted it. The moment you get out of bed you pollute the Sabbath. On the Sabbath day, nobody was to get out of their bed, do cooking, or leave their house. Sabbath day keepers every week pollute and break the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed. Jesus became our Sabbath as prophesied by Isaiah. When you celebrate the Sabbath it is of no avail as Jesus our forerunner is now that rest. The Sabbath day was a day of rest, when you are resting, you are not sinning. Sabbath day keepers today pervert the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed.
Exodus 31:14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[15] Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Isaiah 56:2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isaiah 11:10] And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Matthew 11:28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 4:8] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
[9] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
[10] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Isaiah 11:2 ..... (1) the spirit of the Lord, (2) the spirit of wisdom, (3) the spirit of understanding, (4) the spirit of counsel, (5) the spirit of might, (6) the spirit of knowledge,(7) the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
You were RESURRECTED with Christ, a NEW CREATION, made ONE with Christ; therefore you have these same spirits of God UPON YOU.
Concluding this first topic on God's attributes related to anger we also see the imprecatory Psalms; that is those Bible scriptures that plead with God for judgment to occur on our enemies. These verses sometimes are general in nature which David would say in his long struggle with Saul and those perusing Him. David is a good example for us of forgiveness in that regard; as Saul was cornered multiple times and because he was still recognized as the anointed king David didn't take the opportunity to slay him. Even at his death he mourned for him as we see in 2 Samuel 1. There was no PERSONAL vendetta here; much as there isn't with Christ who will rule and reign with justice ( Isaiah 11:3-4) but with righteousness; in other words He will work with God's direction and not let external circumstances skew the picture.
When studying God's anger our first reaction is to understand his attitude toward gross external manifestations of sin; which surely is the state of the world today more than ever. As I said in the last post He chastises all those he loves ( Heb. 12:6). God allowed collateral damage both with David's sin with Bathsheeba ( 2 Samuel 11:3-4) and with the census ( 2 Samuel 24:12). We find it illogical why many innocent had to die in such instances but David brought wars upon himself and others and many died in the second census incident with its after affects. Therefore it is following God's precepts as to HOW to worship and heeding His warnings against sin that are crucial. Saul began his fall by trying to offer a sacrifice himself in an unauthorized procedure as a king. ( 1 Samuel 13:8-14). David didn't trust God's strength when he took the census. This was much the reason Solomon fell as well; he hoarded gold and silver and foreign women as wives all which God warned about. (see 1 Kings 1:11; Deut. 17:17). Those who He loves go through the refining fire; let us pass the test so we can rejoice at the Bema Seat (2 Cor510
Hello! Do you want to know ""What is the difference between our soul and spirit?""
SOUL
Vayikra (Leviticus) 17:11& 14- Torah -
11 The SOUL of the flesh is in the BLOOD, and I have therefore given it to you [to be placed] upon the altar, to atone for your souls. For it is the blood that atones for the soul.
14For [regarding] the soul of all flesh its blood is in its soul, and I said to the children of Israel: You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the soul of any flesh is its blood all who eat it shall be cut off.
SPIRIT
Isaiah 11:2-KJV
2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
John 6:63 - JESUS said:
... the WORDS that I speak unto you, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and they are life. (The Word is GOD, self-executing, is the Power. Great mystery. The Word is from everlasting to everlasting. By the way, around 2.000 years ago, the Word was made flesh- John 1:14).
Romans 8:9-
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up JESUS from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
It's it. Now, the interpretation is with you.
GOD BLESSES YOU
Matthew 10:28
Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
But those sacrifices could not bring cleansing of the heart & conscience, which only Christ's shed Blood could. They remained in limbo - God accepting their sacrifices, pleased to abide with them, yet looking ahead when His Own Sacrifice would bring full cleansing, new life, & a permanent rest for their souls.
The Gospel of 'Rest' that was promised to them, was not just of entering Canaan ( Deuteronomy 12:9-11; Joshua 22:43-45), but was spoken of a future Rest ( Hebrews 4:8,9; Isaiah 11:10 (both in the first & second comings of Jesus)). This was always God's Plan, even to include Gentiles in such blessing - and Jesus only could be the Sacrifice that would bring true & lasting rest for all. All the sacrifices pointed to Him & the temporary rest that Israel enjoyed (when they were faithful), could only be fully realized when Christ's Blood also applied to them, yet future. Present-day Israel is in turmoil (spiritually, physically, nationally), having rejected their Messiah. They will never have God's Rest whilst in this state. But when they see their Messiah coming in the clouds, come to Him in brokenness & repentance, having their hearts cleansed by His Blood not by sacrifices, then Hebrews 4:9 will be fully realized, "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God."
The reason I periodically presents this is not to divide but to show that some of what we are saying is the same thing.
For instance, There is no marked separation between the Old and New Testament as far as what and whom the blood of Christ covers.
The difference is those sacrifices pointed forward to one who would come and be slain for the sins of the whole world.
We look back at it.
I often emphasize that if we set the salvation topic aside and let the scripture give us its chronological order of the end times scenario we all come up to the 7 year tribulation with the last half being the great tribulation. Most agree up to that point.
But then they argue about the rapture.
Well if we set the rapture argument aside for a second and focus on the tribulation period and what chronologically comes after it using Revelation 20:1-4. we come to the Millennium.
Lets get clarity on what is going on here!
After the tribulation period and after the rapture when the salvation issue has been already settled. Shouldn't we be expecting judgment on the inhabitants of the earth?
If the kingdom here on earth has already started, chronologically the first 1000 years of the kingdom Satan is Chained!
Jesus is literally sitting on David's throne ruling with a rod of iron FROM JERUSALEM, and we too rule and reign with Christ upon the earth.
Isaiah 11:1-12.
Isaiah 60:1-12.
There is 100's of these verses of a kingdom here on earth.
This haven't happened yet, Christ is not reigning here on earth in Jerusalem and we're not reigning with him. ( We are pilgrims and sojourners in a foreign land.)
Furthermore, If this happened at the cross, none of the conditions mentioned in the OT concerning the kingdom has been met.
And, the 1000 years have expired!
When did Revelation 20:7-8 occur?
Spiritualizing the scriptures is a must for those who hold certain views.
Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. ... the lion shall eat straw like the ox... plenty of animals there.
Hello Alan Gbu....Lemme give ya my take on the parable of the Sower and his seed in Matthew 13.....My take is the wheat is a Baby Christ simply b/c the Sower of the good seed is Christ the bridegroom.....Thats y he has to know us in order the sow his good seed in our hearts.....Jesus said b/c i have spoken these Words ( his seed ) sorrows has filled your hearts.... a spiritual pregnancy.....But after the Child is born her sorrows are turned into Joy.... John 16:21....But the Child is spirit as he says that which is born of the spirit is spirit.....Thats the H.G. that Child of Promise....That New Creature that has to be born in us via his good seed.....Resulting in our new hearts and new Spirits....A new innerman that has to be born in us.....1 st the Child is born in us....Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the words of God that liveth and abideth forever.....then the son, then the fullnest of the Kingdom of God in the Son the H.G. 3 measures....Untill we come into the full statue of the son of God.....Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child ( our new birth ) you will in no wise enter there in.....Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me....That was the great Promise.....I will multiply thy seed as the stars of Heaven....Thus the sower and his precious seed has to be sown in our hearts......Thats y he has to KNOW us.....And this knowledge is gonna cover this whole earth as the waters cover the seas..... Isaiah 11:9.....ok lemme go.....Hope this can be of some help to ya.....Gbu.....When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he said unto us a Child is born, unto us a son is given. Isaiah 9 :6.....I love it
Hello Guys no offence.....But there is no Salvation or kingdom of God till the woman gives birth...In Rev. 12:10....And i heard a loud voice from heaven saying NOW NOW is come Salvation and strength and the Kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ ( the Womans Child ) For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which assused them before our God day and night and they over came him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony....
This is y Jesus said unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in.....Which is the New Birth of Christ in us.....She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations....And her Child was caught up to God and to his Throne.....If we don't bring forth fruit unto God which is the H.G....The Child of PROMISE...We will not enter the Kingdom of God,
This Child of Promise is gonna be born in us that hears his words his good seeds.....Who is my Mother and brethren them that hears my words and keeps them...Today if you will hear his voice (his good seed) harden not your hearts...Thats what Faith is a spiritual pregnancy.....B/c of his seeds the words of the book...That New Covenant in his blood at Calvary the living word....The Child is the H.G. and is alive...And is in essence Christ in us.....This New Covenant is an intimacy that is gonna result in a birth of a Child in everyone... Jeremiah 31:34 I will KNOW them ALL from the least to the greatest....This knowledge is gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.... Isaiah 11:9.....There will be no more seas of humanity that have not been washed in his blood....I will stain ALL MY RAIMENT....Tho your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow....As there is no fuller on this earth that can whiten us like his blood.....Its only the manchild the H.G. that spirit of truth that can reprove this world of sin and righteousness and Judgement.....Thats y Jesus mentions the babes and sucklings an Israel of God on th Horizon.
David read Rev.12:5....The woman births the manchild which is the spirit of truth that is gonna rule all nations.....The spirit of truth is gonna reprove this world of sin and judgement and righteousness....Judgement means the Prince of this world (SATAN ) is gonna be judged thus the WORLD is gona be made clean by the manchild the H.G. That is gona rule all nations....Remember Isaiah 11:5...Knowledge is gonna cover this earth as the waters covers the seas....A lil one is gona become a 1000 and a small one a strong nation....I the Lord will hasten it in its time....An Israel of God is on the horizon soon as the Sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity.....The woman giving birth is humanity....Thats y Jeremiah saw all men in travail and birth pains.
Several of the prophets saw the whole world at rest and full of his Glory..... Hebrews 12:22.....You are come unto Mt Sion the city of the living God, That HEAVENLY Jerusalem...To a hugh host of angels....But this city is with in us,...its the H.G. Which is the Kingdom of God....The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in joy and peace in the H.G..... Rev. 11:15....The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our lord and his Christ.....And has made us unto our GODS AS KINGS AND PRIEST that we shall reign on the earth.... Rev. 5 i think...ok gbu
We may not come to full understanding in terms of our individual lives; but God is faithful in all His promises which are most often expressed in covenants in the Bible. Again; it is in the context of corporate worship; being part of the armies of God; His Body etal. where our identity should be saught and expressed. My favorite saying on this is that we are going to be together for all eternity; so we should start getting along with one another now.
With our Resurrection; of course comes full restoration. We know that heaven itself has streets of gold and is adorned with all sorts of unimaginable gems on the doors and walls. We see in Isaiah how the animal kingdom is going to be restored ( Isaiah 11:6-9); how natural lives will be restored to where they were before the flood; and how we will literally rule over cities ( Luke 19:17 and surrounding verses). The fullness of the earth and harvest; as well as great material wealth also will occur starting in the Millennium. So in all these things his promises are "yea and amen" ( 2 Cor. 1:20). Those who were widows; orphans; martyrs and otherwise suffering in this life will come to a better country in the future ( Heb. 11:16).
There are also promises in terms of the fate of the wicked. Realizing what we have come from helps us now in our fallen state to humbly adore and worship God in a manner fitting for His saints. We must realize that we cannot return to Eden; in our natural state. We are crucified with Christ; therefore and part of a new and better life as Galatians 2:20 states. We are now in enemy territory; and nothing on our part can change that if we are indeed living a Godly life in Christ Jesus. We are aliens passing through; and the charms of this world should no longer bring comfort to our minds and tempt us to make a bargain in any way with the prince of this world to have a comfortable life. May we trust God in all things according to His will. ( Psalm 37:4
I may be different, but in my understanding of the Bible, I approach scripture simply and do not try to complicate things with preconceived ideas and let the Bible and the Holy Spirit do the interpretation. To me, a symbol will have a non-symbolic meaning.
A symbol represents something real, a real person, a real thing, or a historical event. When I read, I understand words in a literal sense first, then in a figurative or spiritual sense if the literal doesn't make sense.
Are the Christians now the Israel of God? Have the promises to Israel and the church merged into one common heritage? If so that brings up.
Will the promise of the land given to Abraham's seed, Isaac then Jacob be fulfilled? Isaiah 11:11-12 Ezekiel 37:21-25Jeremiah 24:5-6Ezekiel 34:11-12Ezekiel 36:24-26Hosea 3:4-5Micah 4:6-7Zechariah 13:8-9
Will Jesus the Messiah return and reign on the earth, with a rod of iron? Isaiah 2:1-4Isaiah 11:1-4 Daniel 2:44Daniel 7:14Zechariah 14:1-4Jeremiah 3:17Revelation 2:26-27Revelation 11:15Revelation 12:5Revelation 19:11-21.
Will there be a literal millennium during which Satan will not deceive the nations and Christ will reign on earth? Revelation 20:1-62 Timothy 2:11-12Isaiah 2:2-4Isaiah 11:5-16 Isaiah 65:19-25Isaiah 51:4-5Zechariah 14:16-21Micah 4:1-4Psalms 46:7-11Matthew 19:28.
To me there are too many scriptures that are showing God has not replaced Israel with the Church. We see in Romans 11:24-27 a day when God will again turn to Israel, the day Jesus returns. Forgive me if some of the scriptures do not fit.
My understanding is, the woman in Revelation 12 is Israel, Genesis 37:9. The woman brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations, this is Jesus, Rev. 2:27Rev. 19:15. Jesus will return to Israel, Zech. 14:4Isaiah 11:11-12 Jeremiah 23:3-8Ezekiel 37:21-25Rev. 14:1.
Please do not take offense, Robert Breaker is interesting but like I said before some of the things do not line up. Like the Rabbi says 10 jubilees until the Messiah comes and that is calculated to the year 2017. How can that be a sign of what Trump did by moving our embassy to Jerusalem?
My understanding of what John saw in Revelation 12, was the woman, a dragon, and a war in heaven. The woman is Israel who brought forth Jesus, Jesus ascended back to heaven and is on the right side of the Father on the throne, this was almost 2000 years ago. The dragon is Satan, and the war that Satan and his angels are cast down out of heaven to earth and no more place in heaven for them, this is in our future, this will happen when the fulness of the Gentiles become in Romans 11:25.
So, if part of Revelation 12 is in our past, the way Breaker used the images in Rev. 12 to me does not fit. I hope this makes sense and is not offensive. You may have received good information from his video that helps your study.
GiGi Gbu....But Jesus neva said his kingdom was not of this world.... John 18:36...What he actually said was my Kingdom is NOT NOW of this world...Gi Gi you leave out the (NOT NOW) to keep your false doctrine of no kingdom on this earth..Which is not true.
.....But Rev.11:15 is very clear....The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our lord and his Christ and he shall REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER...No offence Gi Gi But you do greatly err...And God sends an angel to preach the everlasting gospel to all that dwell on the earth... Rev 14:6...Do you see the folly of your doctrine...of no kingdom on this earth...And Jesus sends his disciples to preach the gospel to ALL THE WORLD TO every creature....And sends the manchild the H.G. that Child of Promise to rule ALL NATIONS...Why wd God do all these things if there were no kingdom on this beautiful earth....Beautiful for situation simply b/c its gonna be situated in our hearts where the KINGDOM SEED IS SOWN
....And Isaiah 11:9...( says that KNOWLEGE shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas...Thats y he wants to KNOW US...Remember that tree of KNOWLEGE in the Garden of God...And Habakkuk 2:14...Knowledge shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas and the Earth shall be full of the GLORY OF THE LORD....(THE KINGDOM)....This knowledge is an intimacy that is gona result in a birth of Christ in everyone...Thats y Jeremiah saw ALL men in travail and birth pains... Jeremiah 30:6...We are gonna birth a baby Christ which is the H.G...That Child of Promise...If i be lifted up i will draw ALL men unto me...Jesus plainly tells us the Kingdom of God will come as a man who sows seed in his field....And he said the field is our hearts the world....But we must remember that this is the bridegroom speaking...Thats y he has to know us in order to sow that heavenly seed in our hearts....Which is a baby Christ...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil CHILD you will in no wise enter there in...The man child.
(Part 1):

This is not the Church but a people and elect of God for the purpose of God!
Blessings Brother!
I believe the new covenant started after the resurrection. of christ.
I believe the church started to form at Pentecost.
I believe the old covenant ended after the crucifixion of Christ.
I believe James and the other Apostles went after the scattered and lost sheep of Israel announcing that the messiah has come and to bring in the new covenant to them.
The Kingdom gospel, it was never meant to be a Gospel of salvation as they thought.
The good news to them was Christ would some day come and restore the Kingdom.
However, It was postponed!
What they didn't know was that Christ would first come and destroy it by way of the cross and salvation would go to the Gentiles. Amos 9:8-10
All the preaching during Christ ministry was under the old covenant.
There were promises God made to Abraham concerning the Davidic Kingdom hadn't been filled yet.
The Prophet's prophesied a second coming.
Isaiah 11:10-11.
Hosea 5:15.
Notice the sequence here In Acts 15:13-16 as James quotes from Amos 9:11
"And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
"After this" I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
James says "After this" I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David. ect ect..
This parallels Romans 11:25.
This is a kingdom after the call out of the church.
The Lord will gather his people Israel".
Here's the activity in that gathering.

Dear God Father in Heaven, we humbly come before Your throne with our concerns for our children. We pray that You will give us Your wisdom and understanding Isaiah 11:2 so that the parents here can see and live out the right path for their child. Thank you for caring for all people, Amen. And we thank You for answering prayer. In Jesus' Name we pray, the name above every other name, Amen.

John 19:30 love u
n the Old Testament, the earthly kingdom promised to Israel is a central theme of prophecy-rooted in God's covenants with Abraham, David, and reiterated by the prophets.
Revelation 1:4 Continued
So here, John says from the one who is, and who was, and who is coming; the I AM, the eternally existing one. That's God the Father. And then it says, and from the seven Spirits which are before His, that is, God's throne;
Blessings.
Romans 11:26-29, citing Isaiah 59:20-21 Isaiah 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34
Isaiah 62:10.
Zechariah 13:8-9
Isaiah 12:1-6 is their song of deliverance.

Pt 1
Some look at Israel today and say this must be the Church but "in those days" there is more to consider here than just the New heart concerning this prophecy.
look at the previous verses. Isaiah 11:6-9.
See pt 2.
Part 4 Trinity discussion.
Do you believe that the will of the Father and the will of the Son are always the same or different?
Jesus was obedient to the Father, Jesus said many times it is not His will but the will of the Father who sent Him, the same as we are to do, John 4:34 John 5:30 Mark 3:35.
Do you believe that a human being can truly save all men from sin and death by a perfect life in their own will?
First, I will have to say it was the will of the Father, Jesus at the end even asked His father if there was another way but not Jesus's will but the will of His Father, Matthew 26:39 Luke 22:42. We are told this is the foundation of our faith, Jesus' sacrificial death. God cannot die God is Spirit He has no blood to shed for sin it had to be a man, His Son, born of a woman.
John 3:16 God gave His Son not Himself 1 John 2:22 1 John 4:3 2 John 1:7 Romans 5:8 2 Corinthians 5:21, God cannot be made sin, 1 Corinthians 15:17 Jesus died, and God raised Him from the dead, the first man to live a perfect life, the first fruits of those who sleep in death.
Romans 1:1-4 2 Timothy 2:8.
See part 5
I agree with you.
God Bless You
Exodus 31:14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
The seven spirits:
Isaiah 11:2 ..... (1) the spirit of the Lord, (2) the spirit of wisdom, (3) the spirit of understanding, (4) the spirit of counsel, (5) the spirit of might, (6) the spirit of knowledge,(7) the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
You were RESURRECTED with Christ, a NEW CREATION, made ONE with Christ; therefore you have these same spirits of God UPON YOU.
God Bless YOU!
2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
Thanks again for replying.
But yet it doesn't solve these problems.
More another day.

Isaiah 11:11-12 Ezekiel 37:21-25 Jeremiah 24:5-6 Ezekiel 34:11-12 Ezekiel 36:24-26 Hosea 3:4-5 Micah 4:6-7 Zechariah 13:8-9
Will Jesus the Messiah return and reign on the earth, with a rod of iron? Isaiah 2:1-4 Isaiah 11:1-4 Daniel 2:44 Daniel 7:14 Zechariah 14:1-4 Jeremiah 3:17 Revelation 2:26-27 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 12:5 Revelation 19:11-21.
Will there be a literal millennium during which Satan will not deceive the nations and Christ will reign on earth? Revelation 20:1-6 2 Timothy 2:11-12 Isaiah 2:2-4 Isaiah 11:5-16 Isaiah 65:19-25 Isaiah 51:4-5 Zechariah 14:16-21 Micah 4:1-4 Psalms 46:7-11 Matthew 19:28.
To me there are too many scriptures that are showing God has not replaced Israel with the Church. We see in Romans 11:24-27 a day when God will again turn to Israel, the day Jesus returns. Forgive me if some of the scriptures do not fit.
God bless,
RLW
My understanding is, the woman in Revelation 12 is Israel, Genesis 37:9. The woman brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations, this is Jesus, Rev. 2:27 Rev. 19:15. Jesus will return to Israel, Zech. 14:4 Isaiah 11:11-12 Jeremiah 23:3-8 Ezekiel 37:21-25 Rev.
God bless,

.....But Rev.11:15 is very clear....The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our lord and his Christ and he shall REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER...No offence Gi Gi But you do greatly err...And God sends an angel to preach the everlasting gospel to all that dwell on the earth...
