    Amen Brother Dan.

Here's a few that is over looked.

Hosea 5:14-15. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

Look below at verse 15, The same "I" in verse 14 is the same "I" in verse 15. and He in verse 15 is a prophesy of Christ after his ministry and his 2nd coming.

Verse 15: I WILL GO AND RETURN TO MY PLACE, TILL THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OFFENCE, AND SEEK MY FACE: IN THEIR AFFLICTION THEY WILL SEEK ME EARLY.

    Here's another.

Isaiah 40:3-5 . The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT IN THE DESERT A HIGHWAY FOR "OUR GOD".

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Malachi 2:17. YE HAVE WEARIED THE LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,

( WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?)

    Next verse-

Malachi 3:1. BEHOLD, ("I") WILL SEND "MY" MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: ( AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK,) shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. ( This is easily established that this is God speaking, )

God came as mentioned, "JESUS" and John the baptist prepared the way for him.

    ( EMMANUEL.) -God with us.

    Matthew 1:23.

See here In Matthew 11:10. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

    God bless.

    Isaiah 40:30

    569

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall.

31 But they that wait for YHWH shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with

wings as eagles: they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

    CHAPTER 41

1 Keep silence before Me, O islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them

draw near, then let them speak; let us come near together to judgment.

2 Who has raised up one from the east, at whose steps victory attends? He gives nations

before him, and makes him rule over kings; his sword makes them as the dust, his bow as

    the driven stubble.

3 He pursues them, and passes on safely; the way with his feet, he treads not.

4 Who has wrought and done it? He that called the generations from the beginning. I

YHWH: who am the first, and with the lastpl am He.

5 The isles saw and feared; the ends of the earth trembled: they drew near, and came.

6 They helped every one his neighbor, and every one said to his brother, Be of good

    courage.

7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smooths with the hammer, him

that smites the anvil, saying of the soldering, It is good: and he fastened it with nails, that

    it should not be moved.

8 But you, Yisra'el, My servant--Ya'akov whom I have chosen, the seed of Avraham My

    friend,

9 You whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called you from the

uttermost parts thereof, and said unto you: You are My servant, I have chosen you and

    not cast you away.

10 Fear you not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your Elohim; I strengthen

you: yes, I help you; yes, I uphold you with My victorious right hand.

    11 Behold, all they that were incensed against you, shall be ashamed and confounded;

they that strove with you, shall be as nothing and shall perish.

12 You shall seek them, and shall not find them, even them that contended with you:

they that warred against you shall be as nothing, and as a thing

Thank you Lord for your Word. In our present situation- Afghanistan, co-vid 19, economic woes, political, social unrest- we are going through you; You have given us an "Elim" to rest and recover in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are surrounded by "bitter waters", but the Lord Jesus sweetens our situation by giving us strength and courage to continue on and lean on You. Isaiah 40: 31

Help us to have the wisdom and courage to call on you to bless our leadership and give protection to our people still in harms way. Blind the eyes of the Taliban, and open doors for our citizenship, allies, and our armed forces.

May President Biden find salvation in Jesus and thereby have the mind of Christ and courage to lead. Thank you Lord for hearing our cries.

Genesis was revealed to Moses after 2.500 years after Adam or around 1.500 years BC,and around 3.000 years after the rebellion in Eden, beginning by the ruler of Eden, a Cherub.

Genesis 1:v.1- 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Comments: In JESUS, GOD the Father created the heavens(FOUR HEAVENS) and the earth. (earth here has nothing to do with the Planet Earth, there is a great MYSTERY hidden by the Spirit of GOD, the common man will never understand it.)

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Comments: Actually, if the Bible was speaking of the Planet Earth, it would never be written without form, of course, but

the earth that GOD revealed to Moses IT REALLY had not any FORM, it was void, yeah, was void of the Spirit of GOD, the Word, the Word is GOD; SO, darkness was upon the face of the deep(infested of a multitude of rebels), but the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. GOD always was present here( Isaiah 40:v.21-23.Check it out)

3 And God said, Let there be light:and there was light.4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Comments: What was the intention of GOD in this moment? In His Omniscience and Omnipotence He would go to establish two Alliances with the inhabitants of the Earth through His light.(Please, read 1Thes.5:v.4to8)

5 And God called the light Day,and the darkness he called Night. And the EVENING and the MORNING were the first Day.

    NOTE:

After the rebellion in Eden( Jude 1:v.6),GOD planned to restore all things in six days, and in His WISDOM started to work in His plan around 500 years after the rebellion in Eden( Genesis 6:1to5; Jude 1:v.6),it was already EVENING.

Genesis 5 describes a generation of GOD's seed according His plan.Did not he make one?Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Mal.2:15

I too believe that scripture plainly says Jesus is God in John 1:1. However, we are expressing our opinions and if that was banned then our opinions would be silenced also. Usually when someone wants censorship they usually just mean the opinions they disagree with, and don't want to be silenced themselves.

God wants to be sought. This involves effort. I think some things are meant to not be clear or understood immediately, and some things never. In Job, he questioned God why He did that to him, and instead of a direct answer he got an earful of how He was God and Job wasn't. The way I interpret it is like: how dare you question me with your tiny limited brain.

There are other places basically suggesting our capacity to comprehend everything is currently limited. There are mysteries and maybe more will be revealed in the afterlife.

    Hebrews 11:3

    Mark 4:11

    Matt 13:11

    Matt 6:33

Isaiah 40:4-5 - glory of the Lord will be revealed (in the future)

    1 Tim 3:16

2 Thessalonians 2:11-13 - a 'strong delusion' will be sent. Judging by all the lies in the media it seems a delusion is happening now.

This truth does not need constituency to be relevant and as far as what you think I'm eluding to....IT'S WRITTEN...!

Satan and his serpent seed is always carousing...

MATTHEW 15:24- " I was sent ONLY TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."

ROMANS 9:3- 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

    4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

    10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

1 MACCABEES 3:48 - And laid open the book of the Law, wherein The heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.

MALACHI 3:6 - For I am the Lord, I change not: therefore ye sonnes of Iacob are not consumed.

    Dear Sir,

My heart aches with you at this time. I am so sorry that you have lost the love of your life.

God promises to comfort and help you, if you know Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior and he always keeps his promises.

*Nothing or no one can separate you from His love ( Romans 31:39).

He is the God of all comfort ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

He heals the brokenhearted ( Psalm 147:3).

He promises to help you & uphold you by his mighty power ( Isaiah 41:10, 13).

His help is present & abundantly available and He will never leave nor abandon you ( Psalm 46:1; Hebrews 13:5-6).

He gives extra strength when we are weary ( Isaiah 40:26-31).

May you trust in Him and rely upon his promises.

    Hi Bob,

You never answered my question from the last post.

Though you seem to have your own idea and don't think God can do anything He wants?

Again we use Scripture. It is truth. If you don't believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are ONE. You are just not believing Scripture.

Try not to think your earthly mind can understand the ways of the Lord. Isaiah 40:28, Isaiah 55:8-9.

    God Bless.
  • Richard in Christ - In Reply on John 2 - 5 years ago
    Hi Bob,

Obviously you took my post incorrectly. I'll try using Scriptures again.

I never said Christ and the Father was not a relationship. You brought this up. I never said Christ is the Father or the Father is Christ as it seems you took it. I know it's a Father Son relationship. Again John 10:30, John 14:11, John 17:21. Revelation 3:21. For a couple.

Some say the Father being in Christ means He left Heaven. God spoke from Heaven several times proving that false. Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5, John 12:28.

Here are a couple stating the Spirit of Truth or Holy Ghost as He/Him: John 14:17, John 14:26. Putting the three in ONE as in 1 John 5:7.

As I've been trying to answer your questions though you seemed to have veered from mine. No one knows the depths and ways of God. He can do anything He wants. Isaiah 40:28, Isaiah 55:8-9. Just like giving all His power and authority to His Son so we honor Him just as we honor the Father. Matthew 28:18, John 5:22-23. Not knowing your beliefs on this but no one can say Christ did not exist before He was born here. Christ Himself stated this and there are other Scriptures that back this up also. John 17:4-5. All I do is use the Scriptures. I have no private interpretation as that is not what the Scriptures are for. 2 Peter 1:20.

Nothing is falling apart for me. I've given you many Scriptural verses as I have not seen one from you. Also I really don't even know your motive for making the first post the other night. The reason I made the reply is because you said something about a "man made trinity doctrine". Which I showed you is not man made it's Biblical.

Still not getting into how many titles the Father and Son share. Not knowing if it would make any difference to you.

I'm not here to argue and don't take my post that way please. You may have your own view.

Again as I hope I've answered your questions. I'll just leave the one again.

Do you believe the Scriptures I've posted?

    Thank you. God Bless.

    Hello Richard Curtiss,

Are you referring to the KJV of 1611? If so, I take it you have not thoroughly read it because it has many references to the name or names of GOD. I have listed a few here: I AM THAT I AM ( means sender) Exodus 3:14

: JEHOVAH ( means God Almighty, Most High, Everlasting and so on.Ex6:3

: JESUS (means Savior, The Word) John 1:14.

    : ISAIAH 40:28

It's too many to mention on this platform; but I hope this list will help you or do you have something else to share or enlighten? God bless you

Hi Wayne, what the Bible says about flat or round earth has been asked/answered recently, but maybe it wasn't yours.

Isaiah 40:22 says the circle of the earth which to me means round as a globe. This is reinforced by anyone who travels and knows they can fly in the same direction and end up where you started. There are other scientific ways to prove the earth is round too which is consistent with the Bible.

The verse you refer to say the 4 corners of the earth. To me, nothing in this verse indicates that the earth is flat. Revelations is also full of symbolism and visions which needs to be taken into consideration.

    God bless...

After 46 years of finding a grace to raise my hands in thankful worship when a gratefulness graces me to do so. Ive been so encouraged of late with Ps 141:2. And now with this bold testimony of Elijahs again.Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. My assembly does not lean readilly to this but an increase over the years, especially among the more earnest 30 to 40 aged women. We are a 1 Cor 11:1 to 16 Apostolic people. 1940s to the 80s Six of the Seven Presbyterian Wilson brothers were filled with the Holy *GHOST* with Jude 20 KJV manifestation, and started Six Churches throughout New Zealand. The reticent Seveth son, Fred Wilson was moved to plant The Church of Christ NZ Mt Roskill, which has satelite branches as does their planting in Osaka a Sister fellowship. A strong KJV base they were until Fred Wilson, the Apostles passing, later allowed the NKJV to usurp the KJV veracity, and personally I say sadly, as the fire has shown a weakening since. Verses messed with, not just spoil memory treasures but :weaken > John 1:12 to :confuse >meek with gentle to a : great travesty> Jeremiah 23 33 to 40 where the confusing wordoracle replacing the word burden. Especially when such grace offered to the weakest Saint who would receive it 2 Cor 9:8. And the word may is slipping into the Benediction decree. And to put prayer into an always bowed head stance, is robbing us all of the great need to be instant in prayer, even at least one hand authoritatively raised at certain times. Thank you for your reply Dianne. I was thinking that was the verse you were pertaining to. As Isaiah 40:22 and Job 26:10 use the same Hebrew word spoken "chuwg". Interesting it has two different Strongs numbers although the same exact word. Meaning to encircle or circle.

As I really don't want to get into this much as I know my brothers and sisters on here may not agree with me and I do not wish to raise quarrel. Although I will just state this. In Isaiah 22:18 he states "ball". The Hebrew word pronounced "duwr". Meaning ball/circle. Which I would think would pertain more to a sphere shape than "chuwg". Isaiah knew the difference between a circle and a ball and so did the writers of the KJV Bible.

Again, as I could go on I will not because the shape of the earth is not the important thing. Jesus Christ our Lord is. Even though it may help people turn toward God I do not want to make division here between my brothers and sisters in Christ.

    God Bless.

Here's more scriptures in the old testament why we believe in the trinity.

Malachi 2:17 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,

( Where is the God of judgment? ) ""Notice ch 3.1."" Malachi 3:1 (KJV) Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. ""Now let's tie this together with a few more verses"" ( Isaiah 40:3-The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.) Now let's see who came as these 2 characters. Matthew 11:10 - ( For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.) John the baptists came in the office of Elijah and God came manifested in the flesh. ( If he didn't Malachi, Isaiah and Jesus got it wrong. )

    THE WOMAN IN REVELATION 12.

Here's a verse that is widely debated. I think we can determine by looking at the description of her, and the series of events concerning her in Ch 12 and prophecies pointing to those events in the bible. "you'll need your bibles". VS 1, the description, "She was clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars". If we go to Genesis 37:9-10. Joseph dreams and Jacob answers this one for us. Now compare the events in prophecy to Revelation 12. VS 2, She's travailing in birth pains, Isaiah 54:1-5. Is 66:7, ( BEFORE SHE TRAVAILED, SHE BROUGHT FORTH; BEFORE HER PAIN CAME, SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD.) Also look at Micah 4:10, and Micah 5:2-4. Revelation 12:14 say she was given 2 wings of a eagle, a phrase the Lord uses throughout the bible concerning Israel, Exodus 19:4' Isaiah 40:27-31. Deuteronomy 32:10-11. Look at Paul concerning the Israelites in Romans 9:5, "Whose are the fathers, and whom as concerning the flesh Christ came. THE WOMAN IS ISRAEL, Not the church. The church did not exist until after the child was born died on the cross raised the third day went to the father then gave the Holy Spirit to the believers. Thank you.

He is taking to Esdras. And this is saying any nation outside of the ISRAELITES are compared to spit. Isaiah 40:17 says the same thing. The text in 2 Esdras 6:55-56 it gets more specific about who GOD is NOT call spit
  • Prosper on 2 Esdras 6 - 5 years ago
    @ Charlie

The Most High is talking about the other nations. Whoever is not a part of The Twelves of Israel. The Most High only cares about The Children of Israel. He does not care about the other nations. That is why He has likened their abundance to spittle and a drop.

    Supporting Precept ( Isaiah 40:17)
