    Brother John:

Isn't everyone a unbeliever before they are a believer?

    Isn't everyone a liar?

    Isn't everyone fearful?

The lake of fire is Christ.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

If your in Christ and Christ is in you; then your in the FIRE.

Matthew 3:11 ....and he shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

Malachi 3:2 And who shall abide the day of his coming (Christ in you, Colossians 1:27, baptised into his name)? and who can stand when he (TRUTH and LIFE, John 14:6) appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire and a fullers soap.

Malachi 3:3 And he shall set (in you) as a refiner and purifier of silver: that YOU may offer unto the Lord an offering in RIGHTEOUSNESS.

    God Bless You.

    Dear Nats

    A few verses for Jesus...

    1 Tim 3:16

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory".

    Hebr 1:3

"Who (Jesus) being the brightness of his glory, and the (visible) express image of his (invisible) person, and upholding all things by the word of his (not Father God's) power, ...".

    Hebr 1:8

"But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom".

    Hebr 1:10

"And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:".

Phil 2:5-6 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:".

John 14:9 "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; ...?" How come this? Because they are the same. Persons of the same triune God.

Math 11:10 ""For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee".

Now compare the above with Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple,...".

The "before me" in Malachi becomes "before you" in Matthew. Why? Because it is about the same person, God.

Matth 5:21-22, 27-28, 31-32, 33-34 etc are of the form "Ye have heard that it was said by them (by God) of old time,...But I say unto you," Who can change God's commandments but God Himself? Moses never said "I say...".

There are so many verses in the NT that show Jesus' Divine nature. Just read the NT and mark them. You'll be surprised.

Question. A child of an animal is animal too, a son of man is a man (human) too. A son of God is... what?

I have thought about these issues for the 40 or so years as a Christian. Here's my outline:

    1) People who are walking in the Spirit who are not fallen asleep. These are; in all honesty the minority in most churches today.

(See Malachi 3:16-18 to understand this issue of those written in the Book of Remembrance and their characteristics).

    2) People who are of faith and lukewarm. It would seem that for some; even backslidden believers around right now; that they will miss the Rapture if indeed it is a REWARD issue and not merely a salvation one. Such verses as Rev. 3:4-6 and 18-19 seem to show garments made white; and that further on in Rev. 7:9-14 it would seem that indeed these are believers whose garments were NOT unspotted as Eph. 5:27; Jude 1:23 and others who needed to bear fruit in the Tribulation (word comes from the word Tribulum which has to do with a quick wheat harvest in the hot sun).

    3) New believers: Since the nation of Israel has had the truth hidden until the fullness of the gentiles comes in Rom 11:17-29 then it stands to reason that at least the 144,000 if not parts of the countless multitude are new believers. One third survive "going through the fire" ( Zech. 13:9).

    4) The lost. These will sadly include those who did not LOVE the truth in order to be saved...notice they had to have intellectual knowledge first to become reprobate like this. These will no doubt believe that Antichrist is Christ or the first seal rider or believe in UFO invasion or some other lie. There could be some who never heard the gospel but it seems that it will be very few.

In any event ALL those whose names are not written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world will take the mark. ( REv. 17:18; etal).

The separation with Israel itself will likely sort those who are into mysticism such as the Kaballah; and the Talmud from those who are looking strictly for the Messiah from the O.T. I believe for mass revival the rapture must happen

Jesus is the Good News. You can repent and be born again. John 3.

Matthew 5:27-37 on marriage and divorce. Take a look at 1 Corinthians 7:8-15; Malachi 3:15-16

Marriage is a VOW MADE BEFORE GOD. The problems in your life are because you don't know how binding a vow is. It would be good for you to make an appointment at a Church that offers counseling. They're not going to condemn you. You will understand the seriousness of the vow.

    John 4:

16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

Comment: Jesus knows all of our life's story. He didn't condemn her. He showed her a better way to live.

Ephesians 5:33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence (honor) her husband.

My counsel for happiness: wed a Christian man. Genesis chapter 24 is the best love story written.

The Book of Ruth has a happy ending too.

Hello Vicki. Ps. Dollar would have quoted from Malachi 3:8-10. He would probably also have said that this passage pertained to Israel who neglected to perform all that was required of them. In one passage ( Deuteronomy 12:6,11), the LORD instructed Israel that when they got to the Promised Land, that all their sacrifices, offerings, tithes, & vows were to come over as well & nothing to be left behind or undone. But in Malachi, the tithes that were made (the tenth of their farm produce gain) were not being brought forward & kept back by them. These tithes were needed & used by the priests & Levites serving at the Tabernacle for their support.

This command of tithing wasn't given nor applied to the Church, as the Church (at least in New Testament times), didn't have paid clergy or even a rented building & utilities supplied. Their giving was for the needs of one another & maybe their community ( Acts 2:41-47), thereby fulfilling the Command of Christ to love the LORD thy God and to love your neighbour as yourself. But as the Church grew & spread, the Apostle Paul made the believers aware that some of their Jerusalem brethren weren't doing so well in material things. So Paul sometimes collected stuff to take to them ( 1 Corinthians 16:1-3). So apart from these instances of providing relief to those in need, we don't read that tithing was practised. Rather, that Christians should not give grudgingly but willingly & cheerfully ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

So, as much as tithing is not prescribed for the Church today, I believe that it should be a proper & sacrificial response to help in the support of a Church ministry, that now has far more expenses than the early Church. And not limited to a tenth on one's earnings, but also to share more if possible for other programs & missionary endeavours of the Church. But we're not limited to giving ten percent nor are we compelled to do so.

    Thelma Spangler,

I've experienced similar situations with " experienced contractors" that had really bad results. I've experienced much of that. Next time I think it may be wise for myself to inquire & require " high quality results " instead of " experienced ". I actually learned how to install my own carpet without stretching it. I had the carpet dealer cut the exact size for each room. When needed I would have it cut with extra length, for walkway, & closets, preventing seams. Then I would carefully cut those to fit as I layed it in place with a carpet knife. The " tact strip" nails alongside the walls grab carpet to lock in place. When the carpet weight is overwhelming I've had rooms clear, clean & ready to install & the carpet rolls delivered to each room. The carpet is much more manageable when opened & rolled out.

So it seems the main question is how to handle this situation as GOD fearing believers. After a bad job has been done.?

    1st prayer, Proverbs 3:6, Proverbs 11:5,

2nd don't withhold wages to the wage earner: Proverbs 3:27, Leviticus 19:13, Jeremiah 22:13, Malachi 3:5,

    3rd justice & judgement : Proverbs 3:27, Job 8:3, Proverbs 21:3, Ecclesiastes 5:8, Isaiah 56:1,

Is it justice to speak up, to inform others? I ask you to seek GOD's direction & discernment on these. I'm reminded of: Matthew 5,

    Hopefully these are helpful

David, In the Old testament we see numerous occasions of the appearance, as a man, of THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.

Christ is the ANGEL OF THE LORD. Above all angels, he is the archangel Michael.

This is a mystery because he can be inside you as the Holy Ghost, or walk in the flesh as a man. His ministry on earth was in sinful flesh, exactly like we have now; but he was resurrected with the same glorified body that he existed in, with the father, from NO BEGINNING.

    Angels are God's messengers.

Malachi 2:7 ...for he is the messenger of the Lord ....

Malachi 3:1 ....even the messenger of THE COVENANT ...

John 17:21 ...that the WORLD MAY BELIEVE that thou hast SEND ME.

Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY ....

You are the body of Christ.

Moses was the body of Christ.

A mind of FLESH (Satan, lies, deceptions, falsehoods) rules our body (of Christ).

When Christ rebukes Satan (lies, deception, falsehoods) he is bring HIS BODY (us) into subjection to TRUTH.

Mosses, with his mind of flesh, didn't think he was up to the task to be a god ( Exodus 7:1) over pharaoh, Christ rebuked Mosses (Satan, lies, deception,,]falsehoods) and caused him to have knowledge of the TRUTH, Mosses was only the BODY that contained the Spirit of Christ, who would be the god over pharaoh.

Matthew 16:23 ...and he turned, and said unto Peter, get thee behind me, Satan ...

A mind that is OF THE FLESH is in direct opposition to the MIND OF CHRIST, therefore a MIND OF FLESH is ANTI-CHRIST, or a mind of Satan, lies, deceptions and falsehoods.

At the time Mosses and Peter were rebuked, there was a war for their BODY, Christ through the WORK of HIS SPIRIT, cast out the one (Satan, lies, deception, falsehoods) contending for their body, which is CHRIST BODY.

Christ rebukes Satan, our mind of Flesh, controlled by lies, deception, and falsehoods, and we become a new creation, with the mind of Christ, learning that we are the BODY that contains the Spirit of God, who WILL BE the god over this world.

Sister GiGi, every Word God has ever spoken WILL COME TO PASS.

This is why it is SO IMPORTANT to understand, and believe, MOSSES and THE PROPHETS.

The Spirit of Christ prophesied that ONLY ONE THIRD (vessels of honour) of creation would be CALLED in this age of GRACE (the DAY OF THE LORD).

Ezekiel 5:1 .....then take three balances and weigh, and DIVIDE the hair ....( Revelation 6:5-6)

Ezekiel 5:2 Thou shall burn the THIRD PART in the midst of the city ....(you are the new Jerusalem of God)

Ezekiel 5:3 Thou shall also take thereof a FEW IN NUMBER, and bind them in thy skirts ( Psalms 133:2).

Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them (the few) and cast them into the FIRE ( Malachi 3:2-3), and burn them (the few) in the FIRE; for thereof (the few) shall a FIRE ( Psalms 104:4) COME FORTH unto the House of Israel (you are the TRUE house of Israel).

Obadiah 1:18 And the house of Jacob (Jacob was the shadow; Christ is the TRUE) SHALL BE A FIRE, and the house of Joseph (Joseph was the shadow; Christ is the TRUE) shall be a flame, and the house of ESAU for stubble ..

Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come upon Mount Zion, to judge the mount of ESAU; and the KINGDOM (of GOD)(CHRIST IN YOU) shall be the Lord's.

Zechariah 13:09 And I WILL bring the THIRD PART THROUGH THE FIRE ..

Revelation 8:7 ... and there followed HAIL and FIRE .....

Isaiah 28:2 Behold, the Lord (the Father ) hath a strong and might one (CHRIST), which as a tempest of HAIL and a destroying storm ....

Isaiah 28:17 ..and the HAIL shall sweep away the refuge of lies ..

Revelation 8:8 ...as it were a great mountain BURNING WITH FIRE ...

Daniel 2:35 ...and the stone (CHRIST) that smote THE IMAGE (of the beast)( Revelation 13:15) became a great mountain (Mount Zion) ...

Revelation 9:18 By these three was a THIRD PART of man killed, by the FIRE, and by the SMOKE, and by the BRIMSTONE, WHICH ISSUED of there MOUTH.

The LAKE OF FIRE and BRIMSTONE comes out of the MOUTH, THE FIRE AND BRIMSTONE ARE THE WORD'S OF GOD.

    Malachi 3:6

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

    John 8:47

He that is of God heareth God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.

    Romans 1:28

    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

God does not change His mind about His Word; Jesus or the Bible.

People/priests however do change Gods word and are subject to what is written at the end of Revelation 22. They do it to themselves and hurt others by saying their decisions are right.

By knowing the Bible we can avoid pitfalls to our faith in God. If your church is political and makes changes politically, you have a responsibility to separate yourself from that church; seek one teaching the WHOLE BIBLE and not omitting or adding to "the Bible".

There is no "wiggle" room on these matters. Jesus said, FOLLOW ME. You bear the responsibility to change your Church Affiliation. Period.

Jesus is returning soon and there isn't another 100 years to flesh out the problems of religious political issues. They just want your financial support. Find a real Bible teaching Church. Not those that mix in philosophy, how to be happy happy in your life without change; marriage counselors, and subjects that are not scripturally based.

Super Churches are not able to give one on one, encouragement to their parishioners.

Bottom line: Follow Jesus. We are HIS DISCIPLES on this earth.

A lot can be said about this topic Lets see what is written in the Gospel about it.

    1 Corinthians 9:1-18.

Apostle Paul clearly states that God gave the right who they teach the Gospel to live from the Gospel. But Paul denied that privilege and worked with his own hands to meet his and his accompanions' needs although sometimes he accepted help from the churches he established. i.e Thessalonians.

    Acts 20:32-35

During the meeting with the elders from Ephesus he suggests that they follow his example.

So yes the right to live from the church is given by God (but nowhere in the New Testament that right is defined as 10%, on the contrary everybody may give anything he wants, 2 Corinthians 9:7) but the best thing is to follow Paul's example.

In the congregation i attend, the bishop, the elders and the deacons have a job to live from and get nothing from the church. The members of the church give every Sunday anything they want and can to meet church's expences. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Finally being a bishop IS NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE A PROFFESION just like all the other ones to live from.

Rebecca, here is another prophecy of the TENTH or the tithe to God.

Isaiah 6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the land.

Isaiah 6:13 Yet in it (the land) shall be a TENTH, and it (the TENTH) shall return (with Christ), and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, an as an oak, whose (Christ) substance is in them (the TENTH), when they (the TENTH) cast their leaves: so the HOLY SEED (Christ) shall be the substance thereof.

Revelation 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bear twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Ezekiel 20:49 Then said I (Ezekiel),Ah Lord GOD! they(scriptures) say of me (Christ) Doth he (Christ) not speak parables?

Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitudes in parables; and without a parable he spake not unto them:

Rebecca, our pastors take Malachi 3:8 out of context.

If you read the previous chapters you will see they were tithing, but they were bringing the sick and lame and spoiled grains unto the priest as their tithe. The priest had no land inheritance, therefore the tenth of the harvest, the VERY BEST OF THE HARVEST, was theirs.

Only products of the land were tithed, salaries and works of man's hands were not tithed.

All of this was done as a shadow of the TRUE.

Christ is calling out the tithe or first fruits of the harvest now, in this age.

Malachi 3:3 And he (Christ) shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he (Christ) shall purify the sons of Levi (the priest), and purge them as gold and silver, that they (the priest) may make offer into the Lord an offering of righteousness.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood .....

1 Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his (God's) own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterwards they that are Christ's at his coming (CHRIST IN YOU).

Romans 8:23 ....which have the firstfruits of the Spirit ....

Revelation 14:4 ....being the firstfruits unto God an to the Lamb.

about Malachi 3:10, why is it used so readily by pastors for tithing? When in

    2 Corinthians 9:7

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.", And in

1Peter 5:2-3 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

Daniel 1:1-3, as promised in Jeremiah, & other Old Testament books, if Israel didn't turn from : Exodus 22:22, Jeremiah 7:6, Jeremiah 23:3, Zechariah 7:10-14, Isaiah 1:17, warned & warned & warned by GOD through HIS prophets, Malachi 3:5, 2Kings 20:17-18, promised it would happen. Jeremiah 52:26-34,

Daniel 1:4, the children taken capacity,

Daniel 1:5-16, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, & some of Exodus covers the foods that Jewish children were by GOD's Laws not suppose to eat, it was wisdom

Daniel 1:17-21 stood before the king, seems to say they stood by the king in service & advisers.

    Daniel 2,

1st let's look at threat Daniel 2:5, if he had made all the young boys eunuchs & Jeremiah 52, would have caused fear.

Daniel 2:1-13, just like Daniel 1:20, shows that king was seeking every type of teaching but they all fail

Daniel 2:14-24, GOD ALMIGHTY is Awesome & amazing!! Psalms 44:22,

Daniel 2:25-26, sad reminder that Daniel was of the captives of Judah, also the king had changed his name. (significantly there are Babylonian records with that name so it's interesting it's noted in Bible)

Daniel 2:27-30 :to GOD be the Glory

Daniel 2:31-45 the dream of the king & interpretation , with much symbolism

Daniel 2:46,48, different later, Daniel tells that king's son, no: Daniel 5:17,

    Daniel 2:47 Glory to GOD

Daniel 2:49, interesting note of favor also seen in chapter 1,

Daniel 3, looks like the king misunderstood or took that "gold" interpretation out of context from symbolic "golden head" from dream Daniel 2:31,32,38,

Daniel 3:6 threats again, & rage Daniel 3:13,19,20,21,22,23

Daniel 3:8,12,16,17,18 just like Daniel 1, didn't want to turn from GOD's Laws

    Daniel 3:24-27 GOD's amazing deliverance

Daniel 3:28 to GOD be Glory

Yet threats again of brutal violence Daniel 3:29,

Daniel 3:30 promotion again, through obedience to GOD

Daniel 4, told through that king when GOD humbled him,

Daniel 4:18,19, used name he gave Daniel

    When Jesus was traveling with his disciples and others who were following him to hear his words;

Jesus would withdraw a ways from the group to pray and fellowship with the Father.

We have to do that too. Make quiet time to spend it with Jesus. And through Him, the gift he gave us; the Holy Spirit.

Chaos is a name of Satan. It takes effort to maintain peaceful moments in our every day lives. If you desire more of Jesus (through Holy Spirit) apart from regular church fellowship; you can create other ways to sit in his presence and listen.

Turn off the tv and phone for an hour. Open your Bible and read from Psalms and Proverbs. Read slow to pick up on the hidden pieces of gold that the Holy Spirit will show you.

The more scripture you take into your heart, the more the Holy Spirit has, to bring to your conscious mind, as He ministers to you. Holy Spirit joins you Jesus's mind. That's how it works. It is a moment of WOW, you might want to keep a journal on that for later.

I use praise music other times to bring me into His presence. God inhabits our praise. Angels hearken to the spoken or sung, Words of God. Malachi 3:16-18, an angel records our spoken praise of God in a Book.

With some shame, I'll say The Lord had ti wean me off of hard rock, disco, country beer music, etc. Praise music was hard. Someone gave me a tape of John Michael Talbot, "Troubadour of the Great King." I learned that everything in creation gives its praise to the Lord. Only man has choice to praise, or Not praise.

It depends on us. Do we desire to sit before the Lord and just praise Him; in quoting a Psalm, or in singing along in song. The more we are aware of the Living God in our lives, the more our joy grows. When our mind agrees with the Word, in meaning and and in song:

We move from glory to glory.

We are Not Limited on how much we love Jesus, or How to love Jesus. Everybody loves differently.

I chose full bore, head on. God bless you.
